okay, so we moved to a another apartment in November, I'm a student so i applied for discount on our council tax and till now we have not received any bill and don't even have a CT account number, I hope this will not have any negative effect or the bills being increased or something. or is their something we are missing? like we haven't received any correspondence from the council. |

kaad: I have been told to contact my local MP but after serious thought I decided not to. As I don’t really want the bin man to loose his job. The council have ordered another bin for me free. So I’m cool. |

Thank you all for your responses I really appreciate. Thanks! Please I have another question, can a mother who is a British citizen living in the uk fill for her daughter who is 25years and lives in Nigeria to come and live permanent or settle in the UK with her? Why I asked is that a classmate of mine is here and I asked her if she came in through visiting visa, she said No that her mum fill for her, so she had a legal stay. She said that all her siblings are British citizen and live in the UK. Please do UK do such? bc I know that it is very possible in USA but for UK I am not sure so I decided to ask. I will appreciate your responses dear house. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Inkredible: If they owe you any money, they would normally send it out automatically....... The worst office to call to confirm refund, is that tax office...... Because, you might turn out to be owing them money..... 2 Likes |

Inkredible: Are you on emergency code or is there something you are supposed to be claiming for ? If so then you might be owed a refund. If you are an employee then you will automatically get it but if you are self employed you will need to put in a tax return. 1 Like |

mumnadine:The only option from me to you, is if you have UK's certificate (BSc, MEng, MSc PhD) and work experience, try apply to companies who are tier two sponsor. Faith is key, it's possible. |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by marylandcakes: 11:09pm On Jan 06, 2019 |
subcbouy: This has nothing to do with african’s mind. For such a minor error this guy could loose his job, I don’t really want to pursue the case because the council have already ordered a new bin for me. It’s too early in the year for me to be chasing this. When I took a critical look at the video I think the guy was drunk or high on something. 3 Likes |

Welldone every one, please if someone says OUTSIDE MANCHESTER, SUCH AS LONDON, GLASGOW, SCOTLAND AND WALES, SHEFFIELD, LIVERPOOL, LEEDS,BRADFORD ETC. Does the person means cities or towns in UK and England? Just trying to find out the remaining places the person meant. Based on my research on Google. Here is what i got. Cities in UK https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_the_United_Kingdom And Cities and towns in England https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_and_towns_in_England Which means the cities in UK and cities and towns in England are the other places. Am I right? |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Aphrodite007(f): 9:50am On Jan 07, 2019 |
Kendumazy: There’s a huge difference between England and UK. UK means United Kingdom and it comprises England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. What you’re asking is if there’s a difference between cities in Lagos and Cities (and towns) in Nigeria. Whatever is a citiy in Lagos must be a city in Nigeria but whatever is a city in Nigeria may not be a city in Lagos. Glasgow is in Scotland so it’s obviously not a city in England. Manchester is a city in England and therefore is a city in the UK but not a city in Scotland, Wales or NI. 3 Likes |

Killingmesoftly: I doubt that you can file for family to stay here permanently and legally unless they are under 18 or a spouse. I have heard of ancestry visa, google that to find out if that’s how your 25 year old friend stayed. |

Aphrodite007: Thanks so much for your response. Am not even looking for cities or towns. Google search put me in that direction. What am actually looking for is the other places OUTSIDE Manchester aside from LONDON, GLASGOW, SCOTLAND AND WALES, SHEFFIELD, LIVERPOOL, LEEDS,BRADFORD Thanks. 1 Like |
