Many thanks ....God bless you.

Yes you can submit your application without tax clearance. I submitted only bank statement and got a positive response. Although this may also depend on the case officer handling your assessment.

Go ahead and submit your application while you process the tax statement for your visa application

@tunlex01 mentioned.
Tax clearance is not a compulsory requirement for you assessment.
however
You should approach LIRS or FIRS office depending on your location.
you will be required to remit all unpaid tax amount covering the employment period you intend to claim.

@Princessfad you have already answered your question. Experience is required in an engineering field. There's no way around it. He has a better a chance at positive skill assessment with his sales experience but i don't know if any occupation relating to sales is on the skill migration list.

This is not totally true. Experience or no experience, as far it's an Engineering degree, you can get assessed with a well written CDR.

Happy New Year Everyone! I'm very convinced that this year would be a memorable one for we hopefuls.
A couple days ago, I was trying to register on skillselect and I got to a point where am asked to input my work experience. I have 3 years work experience but Vettases approved 1year 3months.
Pls @ bellong and other seniors in the house, which of them do I input?

In addition, when am enrolling for state nomination which of them should I use to avoid inconsistency and also increase my chances of sub class 489(Actuary) with a degree in Actuarial Science cos am on 55points?

Regards,

Well I don't know much about EA. She said experience is required. My point to her is, if it required, then there's no way around it using sales experience. However, I still believe they have a better chance at positive skill assessment in a sales related occupation.

Is it possible to claim wife's occupation is on Short-term list while the husband's occupation is on Long-Term list even though they are both on the 190 ? Also, kindly clarify this for me " Does TRA need work experience to assess a Certificate 3 from Australian Institution in Commercial Cookery ?" Australian Bureau of Statistics site says AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training but I want to be crystal clear on this.

Commercial Cookery is under Skill Level: 3

If you have a tax number, chat lirs on www.lirs.gov.ng and you will get your tax statement within 5 minutes. That's if your company has been remitting your tax for those periods.
Thanks bro. Is the tax number same as social benefit number? That's what I have and when I input it into the website I see my pics, name and address but no tax statement to print.

I dont think social benefit number is the same as tax number. The tax number is alphanumeric N-XXXXX.

Please chat LIRS or go to any of their offices.

Regards,

This is what I did on my skillselect after Vetassess deducted 3 years from my 4.2 years of experience. I inputted the 1.2 years and selected 'relevant' while i selected 'not relevant' for the 3 years deducted. I think you can do that too.

For most trade occupations, at least 3 years experience is required. With Australian qualification, you might not be required to do practical assessment but the experience is still a requirement.

Good day family, and a happy and prosperous new year to us all, may this new year usher in great things and lots of grants. Please, i have some questions for my bosses of life on this thread and I'd appreciate clarifications on them. My sister was employed by a federal government parastatal some 10 years ago, and she's been working there in different capacities, although she got in as an office assistant, she went back to school for her Higher National Diploma. she got her latest promotion as an assistant laboratory technologist some few months ago and now she's thinking of applying for PR, please I'd like to know if she can start the application processes now, or she has to wait for a year despite the fact that she's spent 10 years in the ministry. please, i really need advise because i don't want hard earned money to go down the drain.

Got contact from a CO today, asked for further proof of employment in particular income in the form of payslips, bank statements, tax certificates, award certificates or anything that will proof employment. The problem is that in the service year the 9,000 came from NYSCC and 14000 from the hospital management board but on my reference letter we called a bulk sum that includes both payments. The bank statements are from unity bank and bank phb. Will that be enough?
Timeline EOI 05/18
ITA 11/08/18
Lodged 26/09/18
CO contact: 03/19.

Kudos to everybody helping out in this thread.

I am 30 years of age (30 points). BS.c degree holder (15 Points). 45 points on ground for now.

My questions and challenges are.

1. Started working as an Information System Engineer at my previous work place immediately after finishing my Undergraduate exam in school, i also my ghost my service year and serve with the company with my work experience with this first company (April 2015-June 2017) before leaving to work at my present work place as a network engineer from July 2017--till date, can i claim that to be 3yrs + work experience.

My undergraduate degree was electronic and Electrical engineering, am i to do assessment with Australia Engineer or ACS.

Also am still single.

If you have the requisite verification documents such as: reference letters, payslips, tax, pension, employment/contract letter, then I believe u can claim 3+years. I don't think your assessor would be particular that you skipped service year, abi who NYSC help?

i have similar experience/qualification but i read electrical engineering, though i have HND. i initially wanted to go for engineering draftperson to reduce the competition and give me a better chance but right now, drafteperson is assessed by Engineers australia. is this also a skilled level 1 occupation? what other option can u suggest?

You can still go for draftperson. It's skill level 2 and you have some states nominating the occupation as well just in case.

Good morning and thank you I thought the statement of service is issued when you no longer on that job
chidike:

Do you have a bank statement showing receipt of salary for the first job? I think it's good to show them something for that first year so that they don't reduce your experience. Offer letter is good, add evidence of payment to it and it backs it up. I only submitted one statement of service for my current job. I expect the experience you're claiming from your first job till now are all relevant. So once they're fine with the first and second job, the statement of service for your current job is all that is needed. At least I know I only submitted 1 statement of service.

From the info you have provided
Age: 25
English:0
Work experience:??
Educational qualification:10/15 depends on university

Your ielts score is very low. You should strive to get 8 in all bands or go for PTE.

What occupation are you nominating?

Can you please clarify? What is the point for a 5-year Elect Elect Engineering program at LAUTECH.

Good morning house. Please I need more info on VETASSESS assessment procedures/documentations. I am applying for assessment as Human Resource Adviser.

I have over 18years work experience as Human Resource officer/Manager and PA and I want to claim all these years. These experiences are from 3 organisations and I have been able to get reference letters from them. Pls assist with the following questions:

1. Do I need to attach payslips for all the years?
2. Do I need to get tax clearance for the years ?
3. How many months bank statement reflecting salary payments?
4. What other documents do I need?
5. Pls is there anybody that has been assessed as HR adviser in the house? I need your guidance pls.

Thank you all.

Happy new year ladies and gentlemen, I would like to migrate to Australia but I have HND in secretarial studies with more than 18 years working experience as Human Resources officer/Manager and also as PA. I fall in 40-44 age category and I have also taken PTE test (64-78 in all) Do I have any chance at all.

Please is it possible to have a sample reference letter on HR? Thank you all

I think you have a good shot. You have sufficient years of experience if only you can provide evidence of these years of experience to claim your full points. tunlex01 should be able to help you on this.
