Yes you can submit your application without tax clearance. I submitted only bank statement and got a positive response. Although this may also depend on the case officer handling your assessment.

Go ahead and submit your application while you process the tax statement for your visa application

however
You should approach LIRS or FIRS office depending on your location.
you will be required to remit all unpaid tax amount covering the employment period you intend to claim.

@Princessfad you have already answered your question. Experience is required in an engineering field. There's no way around it. He has a better a chance at positive skill assessment with his sales experience but i don't know if any occupation relating to sales is on the skill migration list.

This is not totally true. Experience or no experience, as far it's an Engineering degree, you can get assessed with a well written CDR.

If you have a tax number, chat lirs on www.lirs.gov.ng and you will get your tax statement within 5 minutes. That's if your company has been remitting your tax for those periods.

Thanks bro. Is the tax number same as social benefit number? That's what I have and when I input it into the website I see my pics, name and address but no tax statement to print.

I dont think social benefit number is the same as tax number. The tax number is alphanumeric N-XXXXX.

A couple days ago, I was trying to register on skillselect and I got to a point where am asked to input my work experience. I have 3 years work experience but Vettases approved 1year 3months.
Pls @ bellong and other seniors in the house, which of them do I input?

In addition, when am enrolling for state nomination which of them should I use to avoid inconsistency and also increase my chances of sub class 489(Actuary) with a degree in Actuarial Science cos am on 55points?

Also, kindly clarify this for me " Does TRA need work experience to assess a Certificate 3 from Australian Institution in Commercial Cookery ?" Australian Bureau of Statistics site says AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training but I want to be crystal clear on this.

Kudos to everybody helping out in this thread.

I am 30 years of age (30 points). BS.c degree holder (15 Points). 45 points on ground for now.

My questions and challenges are.

1. Started working as an Information System Engineer at my previous work place immediately after finishing my Undergraduate exam in school, i also my ghost my service year and serve with the company with my work experience with this first company (April 2015-June 2017) before leaving to work at my present work place as a network engineer from July 2017--till date, can i claim that to be 3yrs + work experience.

My undergraduate degree was electronic and Electrical engineering, am i to do assessment with Australia Engineer or ACS.

Also am still single.

Do you have a bank statement showing receipt of salary for the first job? I think it's good to show them something for that first year so that they don't reduce your experience. Offer letter is good, add evidence of payment to it and it backs it up. I only submitted one statement of service for my current job. I expect the experience you're claiming from your first job till now are all relevant. So once they're fine with the first and second job, the statement of service for your current job is all that is needed. At least I know I only submitted 1 statement of service.
