Basco, remember that I was one of the few people (practically the only person) on this forum who said that Leicester's playing style isn't gonna favor Kelechi. Leicester's style is to pump long balls to Vardy to chase and that isn't Kelechi's style. Take it from someone who knows, KC would excel in a team like Spurs, ManCity, Bournemouth, or Everton.

O pari

style my foot,

what ever happens to adapting to the coach instruction,

if NACHO like himself, he should adapt, and learn long balls or not,

They are not key players then. That’s the crux of the matter.

TheGoodJoe:

It is simple logic. Aguero will perform better with the key players in the team than when they are not there. If the player is not scoring with key players, how do you expect a better performance without them?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 3:51pm On Jan 08, 2019
whats of Rohr’s system? Has it changed?
TheGoodJoe:

Please, I have made my point and it is so simple. The system does not suit Nacho. The point is too simple. From Shakespeare, it was the same. Terrible systems that does not suit Nacho. Mourinho was delivering results and titles for Manchester United, that did not stop the old dogs of Manchester United like Giggs and Scholes to point out the detriment of Mourinho's negativity to the players.

So telling me Puel came 7th does not in anyway change the point. We can expect Nacho to work his socks off to make something out of it. But, I will not judge him on that. I pointed this before Nacho moved.

Finito.

It has to be reputable British ONLY media
junnyjake:

You're a very interesting somebody, aren't you Komekn?

You were thesame person forbidding everyone from using LaLiga's rating of Chukwueze as one of the best U-21s in Spain.

You said we should use our brains instead and not allow the media, do the thinking for us. Wayodude, you should remember this argument.

Now, you can run to your online sources to corroborate your negative stand against those players.

You're just too predictable.

PS : Don't come at me with your usual dumb "context" lectures, it won't fly with me this time.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 3:56pm On Jan 08, 2019
Until he threads that path you are suggesting (assuming it would work to his favor), allow others to say it as it is. You are judged by what you do on the field of play.

TheGoodJoe:

As I said, it is his choice. Either he wants to stay making money or take some loses to propel his career. I just pointed out why he is not doing well and suggested the solution.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 3:59pm On Jan 08, 2019
Komekn try watch Chukwueze in La Liga. I would like to hear your own analysis without making reference to EPL.

komekn:

I know it would have to be you digging and looking for straws to clutch on too. To buttress your prejudice.

Every club has an analyst well at least most professional ones will have a number of analysts. Thier job is too objectively assess player performances against factual performance data. Just in case you do not know.

One question ❓ two answers

What is the difference between MATCH ANALYSIS with it's objectively specific measured performance parameters and players promotion, hype and or preference. Obviously you do not know.

Skysports is arguably the most authoritative sports media outlet in the world. With its detailed Match performance and the inherent players assessments this called ANALYSIS. I want to believe you have heard the word before.

What happened with Chukwueze is subjective, futuristic speculative projection, supposition which is essentially likelihood.

If l said that KC and Isaac Success had rubbish games yoi would all say, l am biased but underpinned my view with substantiation. We are also talking about one specific match and thier specific measured performances.

One local journalists an individual not a collective made an opinion based projection albeit informed it is still speculative. With regards to Chukwueze.

Skysports assess the factual performance details after the match and in sense carry out a balance score card assessment and these are thier SCORES RESULTS or if you like ratings it's not speculative but factual.

Ignorance they say is bliss. You are comparing cheese to chalk.

Nuff Said.

Bendel Insurance has qualified for NPFL 2019. They top their group with six points after winning both of their two games.
Delta FC and are eliminated after loosing the two games they've played so far.

Today's games (FT):
Bendel Insurance v Remo Stars 1-0
Kada City FC v Kogi Utd 3-0
Shooting Stars v Delta Force FC 2-0
Gombe Utd v Real Stars FC 1-0
I was in primary school when Bendel Insurance got relegated.
I'm currently in my 5th year in the university.. Lol

Its good to have them back.

I had the opportunity of watching a few of their matches as they have been using my school's sports complex.

Congratulations to them, even though they were always coming to displace us from our field because training.
At least it wasn't for nothing grin

Most north African countries don't have fully roofed stadiums.I wonder why that is.

modified: with the exception of Cairo non of the other stadiums have a capacity up to 30k... That reminds me of the argument on this thread sometimes ago that Nigerian stadiums are too small to host the AFCON...

Forget that talk of fitting into Leicester's style. A player with great abilities ought to have adopted by now.

Like I said very earlier-on on this thread most youth players fail to live up to expectations. We saw players in time past who were better than Iheanacho fizzle out of relevance before our very eyes.

I just hope we have not seen the best of him already.

Unless a massive and instant renovation takes place, it will be the most bizzare scene Afcon we will experience.
Only Cairo stadium cuts it for me and maybe Alexandria.

Icon4s reminded me that they actually haven't qualified but they are well on their way. All they need is a draw tomorrow against Delta Force and they'll be good to go. Even if they lose, goal difference may see them through.

How many countries in Africa can boast of these facilities?

The national stadium in Lagos has a capacity of 45,000.

Egypt has more than enough to host AFCON comfortably.

This is what I saw while browsing some pages back

Victor Moses out of Nigeria's friendlies:

Chelsea forward Victor Moses is out of Nigeria’s friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg this month, AfricanFootball.com has been told.

The Chelsea forward was one of 26 players called up for the international friendlies by interim coach Salisu Yusuf, but AfricanFootball.com can reveal he has now withdrawn from the games.

A top source at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed to AfricanFootball.com on Saturday that the 25-year old will no longer be a part of the games.

“Victor Moses is definitely out of the games against Mali and Luxembourg,” the source informed.

It remains unclear why Moses has pulled out of the games, but AfricanFootball.com was told the player cited an injury for his withdrawal from the games.

“I understand he withdrew due to a knock he suffered for his club,” the source informed further.

Moses’ withdrawal brings the number of players who have withdrawn from the games to five.

CSKA Moscow striker Aaron Samuel is out through injury, while William Troost-Ekong has club engagements and will only join up after the Mali match.

Ahmed Musa and Mikel Obi have been excused to partake in the Joseph Yobo testimonial on the same day the Eagles play their Malian counterparts.

Question is has Victor Moses committed to Nigeria enough to be called a legend?
