How many countries in Africa can boast of these facilities?

The national stadium in Lagos has a capacity of 20,000.

Egypt has more than enough to host AFCON comfortably.

Are you saying Nigeria can't boast of those facilities?

Is Lagos the only stadium in the whole of Nigeria?

Until he threads that path you are suggesting (assuming it would work to his favor), allow others to say it as it is. You are judged by what you do on the field of play.

People have their own opinions and they are free to judge how they want. When people criticised Forlan at Manchester United, I kept on hammering he was an exceptional talent and later he flourished. I am focus more on the players potential and hopes he follows through with it than spend time running the player down.

whats of Rohr’s system? Has it changed?

I do not see Rohr as a creative attacking coach and do not see him as a good fit to get the best of our creatove/attacking players.

abuja, uyo, porthacourt, delta beats some of the unroofed stadiums up there.

Only little regrassing, last touches and they re good to go.

Those stadiums are better maintained than any in Nigeria.

We will need more than regrassing to get them in competition state.

Egypt winning the AFCON hosting rights shows fairness on the part of CAF not to allow SA enter through the backdoor ahead of Libya .

Egypt being a football loving country will no doubt fetch a lot of money for CAF.. but the attitude of their fans might be a problem...

As it stands, the odds of Nigeria winning the tournament has dropped drastically... grin

That's completely scuppered my plan's. I will not be going to Egypt. The activities of IS and the fanatical violent fans.I have been to Egypt and anything away from the tourist left me feeling not confident.

I really wanted Morocco but that's not happening.

Mine is just the use of lasers they use to win at all cost
If they can do without it we'd have a wonderful tournament
Imagine all the lasers pointing into the eyes of the GK

style my foot,

what ever happens to adapting to the coach instruction,

if NACHO like himself, he should adapt, and learn long balls or not,

Brendan spoke to me in Spanish and he told me to give him time, to give him a chance, and that I would like the way we were going to play. It would suit me. He said we would bring the ball out on the floor, keep possession and play attacking football.

The new style suited me. Playing in England where all the centre-backs are tall and strong, the long punt up the pitch is no good to me, but a quick ball to release me either side of them works well. Mostly, I need the ball on the floor and Brendan knew that and he also worked with me on the movements I could make to isolate defenders. He was confident that if I could take them on one-on-one, I would be likely to beat them. He was keen to play to my strengths and my style suited his.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2014/oct/27/luis-suarez-brendan-rodgers-liverpool

If you will not listen to me or Icon79, listen to the words of Suarez. There are style that suits players. They can adapt and play a different system but you can not get the best from them in a system that does not suit them.

At City, Nacho was not just a good player but he was hitting stats that was as good as some of the best in the game. Suarez made it clear that there was a strategy to make sure he had good chances at a high rate to strike goals.

This is what I saw while browsing some pages back

Victor Moses out of Nigeria's friendlies:

Chelsea forward Victor Moses is out of Nigeria’s friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg this month, AfricanFootball.com has been told.

The Chelsea forward was one of 26 players called up for the international friendlies by interim coach Salisu Yusuf, but AfricanFootball.com can reveal he has now withdrawn from the games.

A top source at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed to AfricanFootball.com on Saturday that the 25-year old will no longer be a part of the games.

“Victor Moses is definitely out of the games against Mali and Luxembourg,” the source informed.

It remains unclear why Moses has pulled out of the games, but AfricanFootball.com was told the player cited an injury for his withdrawal from the games.

“I understand he withdrew due to a knock he suffered for his club,” the source informed further.

Moses’ withdrawal brings the number of players who have withdrawn from the games to five.

CSKA Moscow striker Aaron Samuel is out through injury, while William Troost-Ekong has club engagements and will only join up after the Mali match.

Ahmed Musa and Mikel Obi have been excused to partake in the Joseph Yobo testimonial on the same day the Eagles play their Malian counterparts.

Question is has Victor Moses committed to Nigeria enough to be called a legend?

Bros go back and check the date of this publication. This was before Rohr was even contracted. Salisu was in charge of those friendlies.

Modified: Now I understand you.

Forget that talk of fitting into Leicester's style. A player with great abilities ought to have adopted by now.

Like I said very earlier-on on this thread most youth players fail to live up to expectations. We saw players in time past who were better than Iheanacho fizzle out of relevance before our very eyes.

I just hope we have not seen the best of him already.

Do you think Theirry Henry would have adapted at Juventus with a style that was hard for him to fit in? Does that mean Henry was a player without great abilities? What of Diego Forlan who failed woefully at Manchester United?

Komekn try watch Chukwueze in La Liga. I would like to hear your own analysis without making reference to EPL.

My analysis and view has remained the same.

Exceptional young talent showing a lot of promise playing his first season in La Liga.

I don't need to watch all his matches, l just haven't jumped on the euphoric praise singing band wagon.

Nuttin change.

If you notice l said not too long ago that come the Summer l expect to see him as a free agent getting a killer contract that means at least £100k a week.

I wouldn't say that if l thought he was rubbish.

Football is international and players will gravitate to where the largest pay checks are. That means in General the top leagues and that includes the EPL.

Egypt is fine. Most of the conflict is in the Sinai.

Fanatical violent fans?? They play league games every week without any incidents.

Al Ahly Ultras are no different from hooligan groups in Russia where the world cup just took place.
