Don't be confused... Start taking your meds as soon as possible, you will live longer and healthier, HIV is not a death sentense as there are worse cases than Hiv, thank God you know your status on time,

The aim of taking drugs is to keep your CD4+ cell count normal.. if these counts are normal you can never have AIDS... As these drugs will prevent your CD4+ cells from being infected and possibly reducing your viral load.

The next thing you should do is start taking fruits and vegetables that will boost your immunity to function well.. eat healthy..

hiv is not a death sentence, it is only a death sentence when you don't take your drugs. there are worst diseases than HIV, i know you know of ebola.

once you start taking your drugs you will healthy like any other person on planet earth.

I am really sorry u have to go through this. I can imagine it must be a very tough time for u.

Was there any sharing of sharps, any previous blood transfusion or any needle stick injuries in the past, as these are the like cause.

To try and answer some of ur questions

1. ARV drugs are free

2. The medication can prolong ur life, and also help u leave a near normal life if taken consistently.

3. Make sure u lead a healthy lifestyle. Which include Good diet, a combination of physical activity, and avoid drinking and smoking. This will reduce the chances of illness progressing fast.

Wrong, if she is consistent with her ARVs (drugs), her viral load will be reduced and she can have unprotected sex without transmitting the virus. I did HIV counselling and testing for a while that's why I know this.

First of all calm down.

There are three major ways for HIV transmission: unprotected sex (anal or vaginal which you haven't had apparently); blood transfusion; or sharing needles (e.g. heroin) with infected people. There are other ways (being stabbed with infected needle, contact between broken skin, deep kissing with both partners having open sores and sharing blood, and MouthAction) but the risks there are rather low.

If you have not done any of the major three, then I would advise you get a second opinion HIV test at a different facility.

If the results come back positive again, then yes, you need to get on AR drugs ASAP. I don't think it's helpful to worry about cost or to be confused because it won't help matters.

Focus: get tested again. Take drugs if needed. There's no need for debate or questions.

Have you heard of the word Azam? A concoction of black seed and honey. Take this twice daily and , if u like, you can also add black seed oil to he taken once daily (15ml). Take these for 3 months , then go for test. If negative, pls don't fail to testify here.

Don't bother to know me, just follow what I told u and revert in 3 months time. And if it doesn't work, look for a way to get me and have my ass sued. As for ARV, if u like u take and if u don't , there is certainly no problem.
