At the end of the day, you will realize that the venture of changing phones per new model release is nothing more than a waste of precious resources.

It's a race you CANNOT win. Buy what meets your needs and rest until it goes bad or stolen.

Most times, we buy phones for nothing more than a show of affluence.

People wen dey use note 4x still dey use gcam, still dey browse internet, still dey nairaland, just as people wen don dey use Redmi note 8.

I agree with u one million times.

For those that have bought replacement battery for Redmi note 4 Snapdragon version, please I need the link.

I am kind of confused on d difference between the model no for SD and MTK version.

Thanks for the update..

I told them that Poco F1 is a glorified Tecno phone with SD845, but fans will not agree.

Mix 2s and mi 8 are the real Xiaomi flagship killer..

Those are just flagships. They're not killing any flagship that I know of. It's low price that they use to kill flagship. Pocophone probably halfed the sales of Mi 8 and I don't know why anyone would opt for Mi Mix 2S in 2019.

oya back up your claim. Outline your problems so we all can know.
Nor be to just talk and go
Let's all learn/profer solution

Where do I start?
The recent apps menu is ugly
The data on button is buggy
You can't switch between sims to use data from the drop down menu (this option was not available in MIUI 9, but you would think that it would have been fixed with a new update.)
MIUI 10 still has a major security flaw like it's predecessors where you can on data, WiFi, hotspot and Co without even having to unlock the phone
The file manager now comes with a very dumb video player that persists after you set your desired video player as a default

Oga, if you don't know what to say, just shut up. This your defense is very weak. I've been using a xiaomi phone for close to two years now and it only makes sense that when a new update comes out, it will be better than what was available previously. The reverse is now the case and I'm complaining and you are busy talking nonsense. Abeg swerve.

about the recent app menu I can understand your view, I don't own any xiaomi yet but I personally prefer the way it is on the pixel but I'm stock with how Samsung deems it fit, so I have to settle for that. Some people like how it is on MIUI.

I can put on my data without unlocking my phone , I always thought that was the standard , I never knew that was a flaw. I kinda like it

Las las its hard to have it all in a phone , you might just have to seek a custom ROM that suits your yearnings

You don't have to be abusive in your explanation mate.... Did your girlfriend break up with you? It's clear you have some anger issues

If you don't want bugs, setup your own company and start producing phones

Even custom ROMs get their own wahala, in short no phone is perfect just buy the one that can handle your daily activities.

Exactly! This was my thoughts back then when someone was saying soon RN5 would be old for anyone to buy and should instead go for the latest undecided

New model or old model o..... they all do the same thing - browse the internet or make calls

I think not being able to switch sims to use data from drop down menu is An Android thing, it stopped with Android 5. From my experience, Android 6 and above stopped doing that (someone can correct me if I'm wrong).

After my recent update on MIUI 10, i can't access drop down menu on locked screen which made me look for a shortcut for my torch

MIUI 10 is truly the worst

To me, it may be the best UI but it's plagued with some of the worst bugs I've ever experienced.

And that lockscreen security issue is major. I failed to mention it in my review. I think most Nigerians are not big on security tho and I'm one of those Nigerians lol

About recent apps, that one is subjective coz i like the look of it. Coming from iOS UI which i also loved btw. Which UI looks the best to you?

About video players. I not seen any default app that beats MX Player yet. It's a must have app for me.

Also what Xiaomi Phone do you use?

Don't let fan boys and girls get to you.

There are quite a few sickos on here that are ready to drag you coz of your opinions about your own phone that you bought with your own money.

I don't know why you concluded it's a bug. Have you considered whether that is the way they saw it fit. I use Mi A2 lite it is Android one, you can on the data from drop down menu while the phone is locked but you can not off it, you can also on the hotspot from locked screen.

Should I call it a bug because someone who had connected with my phone before can actually use my data in my absence even if my screen is locked. I think mobile data connectivity and usage is the least security headache for the manufacturer.
