It's 6 years now. It was more than that before, but right now it's 6 years. The Vice Chancellor is a U.S. trained medical doctor and also the former Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State. So, he's seriously interested in the Faculty of Medicine of EBSU.
Thanks

As a matter of fact, only few universities do not accept it compared to those that do. OAU, Uniport unical, LAUTECH, OOU, EBSU etc and all universities in the North.

I am sure. All the schools in the North (except UniIlorin I think) accept two sittings.
There are many ways to screen out candidates, WAEC shouldn't be one of them.
Anyone can write Waec and easily get A1 parallel, but people find it difficult to pass JAMB and Post UTME. Have you asked why?
Because cheating is easier in waec and Neco.

EBSU accepts only one sitting. I know the school very well. In fact, no university in the East accepts two sittings for Medicine.

You should try niger delta university. I just got in with a 2.1 b.tech

I intend to do DE too but the choice of institution has been a challenge for me as I cannot afford to miss any attempt I make.

What is their requirement for DE (any limit for cgpa) and is there post DE exams?

I also wish to attack my application with Jamb exam and choice of school is giving me challenge. Kindly help with their requirement for Jamb admission (score to have to be in safe side, post utme and any other tips)

Other medics in the house can help too.
Thanks

Do you mean early this year, cos 2013 set is supposed to graduate this year, not next year?

Point of correction sire..

Dental Students in OAU and other Medical schools offer more than those three courses. They'd also offer their departmental/faculty courses.

And failing just one of those courses doesn't lead to outright withdrawal. You simply resit the paper

Good morning bro,Pls can I have your whatsapp digits?

The both are good, my boss mandey was kind enough to answer u with nice reasons nd yet u went ahead to still torment with bold letters asking which one is better..

Now draw closer, open ur ears with ur lower limb..

The both courses are professional.. It depends on what uve dreamt and want to become, if u ask which one is better of the other the third time, then i'll conclude that u are the ego kind of person hence, the reason u re asking before choosing one of these career path.

Now, between "spoon" and "fork" which one is better..?
grin

It depends on what u want to eat ryt??

If u go ahead and say, eventhough it depends on what u want to eat, spoon still has a wide range of use than fork, it then means argument dey hungry u...and i will fight you grin grin
thanks guys am happy u helped me

Good morning House, Happy new year to us all. I've been an ardent follower of this thread and it was undoubtedly one of the things that kept me encouraged in my pursuit of the MBBS. I just wanted to take out my time to encourage all those that have kept the thread alive with comments and contributions. God bless us all.
However recently I started to visit other subforums on Nairaland and I stumbled on the health subforum. I was nothing short of sad and heartbroken. I want to encourage us to once in a while visit this sub-forum. It's pretty preposterous the things Nigerians are selling to others in the name of a "cure" even to diseases and conditions that science hasn't yet found a cure to. And people are buying into it, abandoning their medical treatment and paying through their noses to purchase these things yet their health keep deteriorating and I have realised that although ignorance is in part responsible, we also can be held responsible as even though there is a dearth of medical professionals in Nigeria, those left as well as us students have failed in our collective responsibility to continually encourage patients and their loved ones to desist seeking help from these people and when necessary call out these guys for what they truly are "frauds".
I have been a clinical student for a while and I've met patients whose ignorance have been exploited and others who have lost friends and loved ones to these heartless fraudsters . In our own little circle of influence we can begin to change that narrative. Let's start right here on Nairaland!. Longlivethisthread! LonglivethemedicalProfession!

U wont believe that I initially applied for medicine but was given pharmacy, not because my score was bad (Pharmacy cut off is almost as high as that of medicine, it's just a rule of not giving a second choicer medicine and law) .

So I had to accept the course and reapply for medicine the next year.

PS:pharmacy is a nice course

Does ESUT accept second choice?

Does ESUT accept second choice?

Yeah they accept them to write their post utme ..
But they will not give you (as a second choicer) admission in to competitive course like medicine, pharmacy, law e,t.c no Matter how high ur score is

They will consider u for a non competitive course let's say fishery .
