But just like the last year, be sure to see some stocks make good upwards movement, especially those with good fundamentals and selling at huge discount. Be sure to also see some stocks with excellent full year and quarterly results, and stocks with positive news make good price appreciations.
You are right, I am not an expert in that arena Lol
Me na index investor grin abi na trader grin

Can you see how all those stacks of offers has disappeared? This same scenario played out last week and they resurfaced on Wednesday.

Let's watch and see if they will reappear next week. Some heavyweights are wicked!

Honestly both are tempting, but if I had the kind of money you are planning to invest, I would rather split it into 2 equal parts and start buying both in tranches, who knows which one will 'blow' first, cos the sure thing is that one must 'blow' before the other, you can then rebalance the portfolio later if need be

I would rather go for diamond, take my N1per share and end up in Access. Or I go with Fidelity that will clearly make more that 100% this year(all things being equal). Then put my long term fund in Oando. Oando will soon start paying investors as it plans to pay off 90% of its debts this year.

Don't bet on any stock making over 100% THIS YEAR

My opinion is that anybody buying wapco is in for more pain as the company will keep reporting forex losses.

These forex losses arise mainly from the business they do with their parent company. That's why the do not make any effort to clear them.

Meaning they'll keep recurring thereby fleecing the minority shareholders.

The reasons for their various right issues is to settle those forex loans from their parent company. They may even do another one after the present one.

The bulk of the rights is taken by another FPI in what is like a debt to equity conversion, full year report is what will finally set me rolling into larfarge.... I want to know whether it is still the same investor that bought @ #42 that is now also buying @ #12.......

What gives me hope is that as Dangote pays juicy dividends, and CCNN set to start doling out juicy dividends........It will never pay wapco to keep their previous model where equity holders get scraps from the table, hence the repositioning.....I see wapco going down again after completiin of their rights issue to as low as #7. I believe in 3 yrs time wapco can pay as much as #4 dividend

IN retrospect ,CCNN fortunes changed when BUA owned by abdulsamad rabiu came in, thing is the moment the price flew from #6 range to #30 range coincided with the time the new 3mmt plant in sokoto started production..... This plant dwarfed the older plant on all metrics( cost, capacity utilization, efficiency etc),,,,,,,
Something similar might happen with wapco, they have aquired ashaka cem & unicem from flour mills @ strategic points in the country for cement sales far from Dangote...... THEY have started the upgrade of Ashaka cem( slowed down a bit as a result of boko haram in gombe environs), I dont have much info on unicem...

At #2300 a bag of cement, there is chance for a thirld revolution in the cement industry......I will patiently wait, @ the close of the rights issue wapco price will definitely go down as old investors who didnt take their rights cut losses....... I will wait till full year to see whether their hugh sales revenue has started trinkling down to investors then make the ultimate move

That your 4m can still be recovered, multiplied, if you're positioned in oando when the news finally comes that they have finished paying off their COP deal debts.
The caveat here is if by then US Shale has not overrun the entire market while OPEC is busy doing cuts to boost prices.

I'm yet to understand what these attacks on people's opinions are.
It's been said times without number that no one knows the mind of Mr. Market and that individuals should adopt or stick to what works best for him/her.
Some ogas were given their recommendations based on trend/FA/TA/GA but I observed that Mr. Market has been altering the trend since last year in some stocks.
Also DD is been advised from time to time as caveat. I think we should stop blaming others for our decisions, especially the old timers. If it were to be newbies it's even understandable.
Anyway there's still many fishes in the ocean, make Una take chill pill. It is well.
