Men! this life is funny until God opens your eyes to see the billions of dollars on the internet. I have done several crazy jobs and received peanuts called salary until I asked God for direction and He came to my rescue. I worked in a place where the owner of the company treated everyone like shit. I took the bold step to walk away in 2017 despite having nothing to fall back on. A couple of months ago he called as was Like "Can you please come back, I will increase your salary and pay you guys regularly. I asked him a simple question. Sir, can you pay me up to N500,000 a month? He was proposing N80,000 a month from 60k which he was paying but not regular. I told him, sir, you can't pay me.

Today, I earn over N300,000 a month from the comfort of my home. I am not cut out for 8am - 5pm jobs God forbid. Folks no need to search for jobs, you can make it on the internet without defrauding anyone. All I do is write books and publish on Amazon. All the materials you need to write on any topic is on Youtube, stop the laziness and get your butts down to work. Serve no master. The problem with our so-called graduates is lack of research and laziness. They don't have the energy to research on what will put food on their table. I will never search for a job any day any time. Targeting N1,000,000 a month from book sales before June 2019. Will be spreading my tentacles to Amazon FBA very soon. By The end of 2019, i should average N5,000,000 per month by God's Grace. The millions is in your laptop connected to the internet.

PS: Nobody should PM for any tutorial or guide. I won't respond. All you need is on youtube and the internet, Take your time say one month to research and you will be glad you did. Convert Youtube Videos into books and sell on Amazon.

Final comment: Any computer scientist looking for a job in this era of ICT is a fool.

Hmmm..well it wasn't a though journey and I thank God for that.

For me I got a job 3 months after nysc , the pay wasn't really fantastic but I took it to keep myself busy. It was hell in the job ,but I learnt alot, I got another job after 1 year and I resigned. it was a good one .still there right now and learning alot .hoping to launch my own company by February. It's better to work for yourself.

Life after service is more than challenging. I was able to save up to 300k during my NYSC plus the INEC allowance for participating in 2015 election but I lost all to a fraud outsourcing company that claimed they are recruiting for Dangote refinery therefore scamed me 180k. With the hope that I have gotten a big Oil and Gass job, I started spending the remain 120k until it became crystal clear that I had just been successfully duped by the fraudulent outsourcing company.

Lesson number (1) one. Never pay to a company to secure any job.

Having working for an Insurance company as a marketier for a year without any returned I decided to call it quit and try a new thing.

Lesson number (2). There is always room to try and have another options if what you are doing in not yielding any superlative result

My liberation have been through online marketing then migrate to Forex Trade. Glory be to God I make millions online at the comfort of my house.

Lesson number (3). Without learning anything you can make it in life if you are creative enough and pray hard
Bro please can you put me through on the forex trading stuff if yes let me know thanks

Good day to everyone on this thread, I've read through the various posts on this thread and i must confess it has really been an eye opener. I have a question to ask, i just graduated late last year and mobilization for batch A is by February this year but I'm considering leaving that of batch A in order to raise some money to learn a digital skill and then go with batch B.
Pls is this a good idea or i should join the batch A streamline?

Get started with nysc as soon as possible and at the same time try to learn a digital skill. You don't need so much money to learn a digital skill these days. With Internet data and determination you will be fine

It's high time Nigerian universities inculcate practical skills into their curriculum... no jobs and they are still establishing new universities....

Those old days, left service to discover that 'only me can help me' . It was the case of all promises of jobs cancelled. So I go into teaching computer to graduates and final year students free of charge.
A senator heard about me and fixed me in his empowerment program as the coordinator of ' new skills' I started selling MS hand outs, started buying consumables and opened my poultry and a fish pond with my earnings. Grace caught me when I got a permanent employment then went full-scale into importation of Drip irrigation kits from India and later opened a plant nursery business as a side hustle which pays more than my main job.

Lessons learned:
Get your aid from your hubby and bear in mind that no one owe you a job. Disentagle yourself from your local folks and venture out where familiarity will not tie you down. Make many friends and give your best sometimes free.

Oga I feel your pain. After dropping serious money somebody will still be hustling to keep body and soul together while younger ones expect you to meet up. I pray they do the capturing because I know people that passed through what you are passing through now. Good should just have mercy on us because it isn't easy out there.

There are jobs man.. Not just anyhow jobs, but fantastic jobs with good pay. I refused to have the "no job mindset" even after spending 3months at home. Today, i work a good job and earn a decent pay without connection. Stop discouraging people. Just because you haven't gotten doesn't mean they aren't.

I really thank God i learnt barbing. I went to camp jan 2018 did pop in dec 2018. Am grateful to God cus i know he made everything possible for me though i planned my post nysc life since i was an undergraduate but its a thing to plan its another thing for that plan to be successfuly executed. I went 2camp with a clipper thinking i could hustle there but i couldn't cus of the daily busy schedule in camp. So as soon as i got 2my local govt whr i would stay for 1yr i got a 2nd hand gen wt d remaining money from d first allawee that was paid in camp, less than a week after i got there i started barbing in d family house getting #200 frm fellow corp members, months later, i rented a single room apartment left d family house and later rented a shop 4d business, 2month b4 pop i completely stopped living on allawee. Am still running my business here till i get a better job hopefully in lag whr am from.

That is government job for you in Nigeria, that is just the norm. Thing is they'll pay him the backlog once his name is registered on the civil service commission platform.
We all went through that stage.
