Yes, À great TOEFL score, cgpa and waec can get you into a top German school but mind you those schools are very selective and competitive. They recieve thousands of applications from around the world. So it will be tough getting admitted in one of them.

All German schools are rated the same, Germany have a very high standard level of education which is evident in all her states. The universities you see as top schools are just schools made popular by the city or state or the number of international students that studied there. That doesn't mean the other ones are not good. I stand to be corrected

So change your mindset and try less popular universities and the ones in smaller cities. You will definitely be awarded with offers.

Always check the school requirements and compare them with what you hv. Like the required cgpa, if a letter from school can suffice without TOEFL etc.

wow..so Germany is this good ?...thank you sir. ..

I was in Zenath bank today for my From A enquiry. I was told one € is 347.6 naira equivalent

@Larrylrkay Where you now?

Come and drop the location of the Zenith bank branch you went to inquiry this.

You cannot come and raise people's hopes of using an affordable rate and disappear or keep mute.

Funding at this will be awesome because I wont have to spend up to 3.2mil plus bank charges.

I am interested in enrolling for a short course in a german institution, one of the requirements for international students is that the student shows a proof of fund of about 30,000 euros, My question now is this, how exactly does proof of funds work? Do I need to have this balance in my account and show them my account statement? if yes for how long would this amount have to be in my account? or can I use a sponsor's account / account statement ? or are there other ways to go about this? Anyone with some experience on how this works, please share some information. Thanks

Uni assist just sent me a mail saying 'Uni Wuppertal - Master an Universitäten - Ap. Eco.+Int. Eco. Policy
We regret to inform you that your application could not yet be forwarded to the university you
applied to.
Reason(s):
With your academic qualifications you are not eligible for entry to a masters degree programme
in Germany.
We have contacted the Central Office for Foreign Education in Germany (ZAB).
Unfortunately the Houdegbe North American University in Benin is not an accredited
institution and any degrees from this university cannot be seen as equivalent to a German
degree.
uni-assist has carried out the pre-check of your documents with the greatest care and accuracy.
Should you however feel that we have made a mistake in our pre-check, please write to us.
State the reasons for your complaint and please include your application number. uni-assist's
management will look into your complaint and get back to you in writing. If you still disagree with
this response, we will forward your application to the respective university. The university will
then issue you a decision vested with legal capacity'
Do I still tell them to go ahead and send it to the school? Thanks

thank you boss... this is quite invaluable

You're welcome bro. Don't mind the funny nature of my reply. Just to tell you that you don't need an agent. All the info you'll need is in the thread and it's very straightforward as others have said.

What course do you wanna study

I saw something here that helped me I would also love to share

It's for newbies Tho

Instead of asking stale questions Go to part 3 and read the last 50 pages I believe you go dey alright

This thread needs more people already in DE to help us out in terms of life there, what to look out for, accommodation tips, Job tips and more of hook ups and so on I believe every normal person here that can read and understand who can overcome laziness too shouldn't be asking some irrelevant questions again just go through those pages

I am suggesting that these basic procedures from admission application to porting should be written down step by step and posted at the beginning of each page for clarity swiftness

Please this is a no-brainer. Dont pay any agent for anything...
Correct me if need be though

ANY ANSU STUDENT HERE? LET'S HOOK UP

Thanks dear. I understand now.

Please anyone posting any information on bank rate should make it very clear. Whether the bank is willing to fund a German BA using the CBN rate. I doubt if it can be done coz all banks are authorize to use that rate only for school fees and medical fees.

@Mystique20 have you funded? If yes, what rate were you given?

I funded via the black market (i.e opening a domiciliary account, having the black market guys pay into my account then I transfer to my blocked account) I got it done at 412 per Euro. Hope this helps.

Hi guys!

So I feel like there's a lot of information about financing the blocked account for the visa application and early stay, however there's little or nothing concerning the financial documentation for residence permit application or extension if the program lasts longer than the time frame given during the original residence permit application.

It'll really be great to have clarification on this.
