Komekn might consider this move a step down.

That young man never fails to amuse.

Actually l would say it's not a step up if we are to consider the other options that were available to him.
I am talking about West Ham.

But that's not the issue sometimes a step up can lead to failure. And a step down lead to greater Success.

However, the reality is which EPL side will give him immediate opportunity. Particularly when he costs a mere £3 million ➕. He could easily end up in the U23.

In conclusion a shrewd move, that gives him l think long term career progression. The French league is not as fast or as physical as the EPL, but most of all l believe he will be given IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY and if he starts scoring for fun. Which l expect him to do in a year or two his next move will be back to the EPL with a huge transfer fee.

So in my opinion a very good move.

Finally, he puts himself almost to be the next striker for the SE. If he plays on Saturday and scores against Strasbourg then he is going to AFCON, EOD.

This miss was not that bad tbh. The ball came off the bar at some pace it is not like the ball was sitting waiting for him to head it. Then it also goes to how good a player is with his head.

I don't think anything should be unpardonable in football unless it is something to do with violence. Players are human and they can switch off from time to time. The problem is that when u are a striker or goalkeeper ur mistakes are magnified.

I think what affected him more were the pace of the ball, uncertainty in the direction after that bounce and then his indecision. Plus he was trying not to allow the ball touch his hand. And he also exposed his poor "heading" ability.

Issue of pardon. I can tell you some misses are unpardonable in Football. For Nigeria, Yakubu's miss against S/Korea and Ighalo's miss against Argentina top the list.

What do you say of a Surgeon that forgot his surgical needle in the stomach of a patient. If I am going by your comment "he is human, he is not a machine". "No medical mistake is unpardonable".

Men, these are well trained professionals. Be it a Footballer, a medical doctor, or what ever profession, there are some basic errors that are not expected of them.

If you give your house to a Civil engineering company to build for you and the building collapses after almost completion due to some basic structural defects. Then you will understand what pardonable or unpardonable really means. grin

So much quality play in this Egyptian league. The only reason I don't like these North African clubs in their win at all cost syndrome. Both their players and fans are very aggressive.

All these backwater leagues you guys are posting.
Egyptian league, Slovenian league, Div 2, Div 3 etc

What benefit does this bring to the Super Eagles?

By now we should be aiming to take the world by storm and possibly win the world cup 2022. We have a solid history in the 94 era that proves we can win the world cup.

We need world class players. Why are we focusing on old players from obscure leagues.

Take time o. grin

^^^ bobobooge we are not Spain or Brazil. We can only display what we have. Besides, the main essence of posting some of these videos from those "obscure leagues" is because we don't get to see most of them on TV. Those players are also Nigerians and we deserve to know how they are fairing.

Talking about getting world class Players. Please lead us to where we can get those world class players. Or better still if you have info on them please post here.
If we want to storm the world by 2022 all hands must be on deck including yours. smiley

How can u even compare forgetting a knife in a human being to missing a goal? Football is a game, it is not life and death. The problem u have here is that most doctors have not forgotten knifes in their patients whereas all football players have made mistakes here and there. If the best medical doctors in the world were forgetting things in their patients upandown u could compare the two.
