North east and north west, can they survive on their own?

With no access to sea
Huge population
Poverty capital of the world
One of the least educated region
Most polluted region
No natural resources.

Etc.

Yes they can. The question is, can Igbo survive on their own without the Hausas and the Yorubas? Answers is No.

You forgot you people are agitating for Biafra with the mindset of staying back in Oduduwa lands when the Biafra is achieved. Impossicant.

Out of all the regions in Nigeria .
It’s actually the southeast that will find it very difficult to survive on their own .
The truth is ,the southeast can never survive on their own cos if they could ,they wouldn’t have lost the war when Nigeria halted their supply of food .

Yoruba moslems talk like insane people. How will restructuring cut NE access to the sea?

In case you don't know, Cameroun has access to the sea and Adamawa has border with Cameroun.

Yorubas depend on the North for food and their is nothing yorubas can offer the North in return. Cameroun is more strategic to the North than SW.

Republic of Niger oil is closer to the North than ND oil, but ND will depend on the North for food.

Niger State Kainji dam and Katsina Solar farm can provide electricity to the North.

The North don't need anybody to survive, we all need to eat at least in the short run.

South East supplies red oil to the North. This is the only thing the North will depend on from the South.

We should stop exaggerating our importance. The have the largest deposit of solid minerals and consumer market in West Africa.

Those dudes can survive if they stop being a parasite.

The North remains one of the Region's that will do well, if Nigeria disintegrate today. The North is contributing alot to the Economy, in terms of Agriculture, mineral, human and other resources.

The major question is, will the South East survive without the support from the North? grin
