[With your MBA,please seek the express entry route..dont waste money coming for another program in Canada..quote author=Frankrobbn1 post=75192184] Why PGD instead of Master's or Phd to show academic progression? Your chances of getting a TRV is slim, although not impossible. Hence, the onus is dependent upon you the principal applicant to convince the visa officer beyond reasonable doubt that you're truly a bona-fide applicant who has already secured an MBA and now decided to travel all the way from Nigeria to Canada to study a degree (PGD) that is lower than your already completed degree (MBA). For these straight forward reasons that might lead to a refusal, i would suggest you opt for Express Entry, Phd or second Master's degree.[/quote] |

Dear Nairalander, I have been offered an admission to study at concordia University where test of English language is not required for Nigeria applicants. Can someone advise if I will be needing to write the test for the purpose of visa application. Please guru in the house. |

Mykaelolalekan:To my own understanding, I don't think you need to. Since you have been offered an admission and it's not conditional, you're good to go. |

English test is never a requirement for study Visa.. But it is very compulsory for Express Entry.. So you dont need it for ur study permit application. Mykaelolalekan: |

It looks like you didn’t show enough funds to cover your tuition and living costs for the duration of your study. Did you use a third party sponsor? Did you show enough funds? Also what program are you going to study in Canada? Is it in line with your previous program of study? Looks like you didn’t convince the VO that there’ll be job openings available for someone with a degree in your preferred program. Andrepete: |

While you’re waiting for your CAQ you should go through the earlier Parts (Part 1 - 15). If you’ve any questions after you’re done you can go ahead and ask the platform. obazi: |
