When is the bonanza period coming? My money has been in my account for months waiting to get GTB @ #22, Zenith @ 19 etc, as per bonanza awareness,but it is like the more i wait the less I see.

NIGERIA STOCK MARKET GENERAL COMMENT /MSCI POSITION (NSE STOCK MARKET WEATHER REPORT) - FOR 31 JANUARY 2019

MSCI Nigeria’s portfolio as at 30 January 2019 had no movement. It is good that the fund is not selling at this moment, this has in some extent stabilized the market.

Wednesday was a tough one for the bulls, the bears put up a good fight, day closed with 23 gainers and 19 losers. Bulls have now closed the gap, but turning back the market to the bullish side at the moment will be an uphill task.

NSE All Share loss for 2019 now 0.91%. Close of today will determine whether we have a bullish January or a bearish one, the odds slightly favor a bearish January.

For Thursday 31 January 2019, projection for the Nigeria All Share Index, expected High is 31183.57 Low at 31125.04

Result have started coming to the market, we should note with particular emphasis on quality of results release on industry sector basis, this will enable us determine which sector which should lean to (for now flour milling is a slippery sector, good to be avoided). We should avoid buying into the result release dates, best strategy is to wait for the price to stabilize before looking for good entry point with low risk to the downside.

For now we are watching the market only, except I see exceptional opportunities, I want to remain risk averse.
