Please is there anyone here that has gotten an admission from Deggendorf Institute of Technology or Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt.. i have been waiting like forever

we are in the same shoe waiting...i applied to Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt

Just so we know, there are 2schools on darmstadt;
TU Darmstadt. This one is technical University and
Hochschule Darmstadt this one is University of Applied Sciences
I think we are all beginning to confuse our selves about them because I know tu darmstadt has given out most of their admissions while someone like me is still waiting for hochschule darmstadt.
So let's be differenciating them please. I almost got confused about the posts we are making.

Is it normal for the embassy to give you back your passport after the interview??

Very normal...you would be told to bring it along with health insurance if your visa is approved

Conclusion is ; your plan after graduating. Make them believe you are coming home for a particular job in Nigeria or going to another job in a different country.

Advice don't tell the Consulate you want to settle in Germany after school because it will negate your motive for seeking students visa instead of perm residence Visa or Work seekers Visa.

This right here is a general misconception that was probably started as a result of an unfounded fear. All that is required is a sincere expression of your thoughts and plans. For example, if you have never worked before it will be a blatant lie to say you are coming back to Nigeria immediately after studies because they know that 2 years of just studying will not give you the required experience you need to make the contributions you claim is your intention on your return. A better response would be that you would first take an internship position to build your experience and evaluate your expertise at the end of your study. If there is the need to gain more experience in a particular field, you will like to work and gain that experience. There is no rule stating that you have to leave after studies! What then is the point of the 18 months permit you get after schooling to look for work?

If you have some experience under your belt, simply say it will depend on the opportunities that come your way as you are focused on becoming a better professional (which is one of the reasons you are heading out for the MSc)

Even saying outright that you would like to learn the language and culture of Germany, thus would like to work and live there after study isn't a wrong response.

It was quite overwhelming.

Sha, got to the embassy around 5:30, forgot I had printed out my appointment letter o, I sha did that. Those people wanted to take 3k for one colored print out. Ah them be scam o. Sha paid 2k. The 2k had to come out from my Visa money. I still believed I was okay as I had 30k with me. Sha, me and my uncle went to Germanys embassy area o, my mind sha told me to ask how much be visa fee now, one security man sha told me 34k. Omo, I panic. those mopo people and bro paulinus started harassing me and my uncle, oga paulie even asked them to take note of me if I come back late cos I left to go and withdraw. Sha, I got the 4k plus around 6:20 and i was still the first person apart from one girl who is prolly there for another visa reason. Sha, oga paulie sha started his usual. Calling out documents and how to arrange them, abusing me for not doing it well. sha making me panic. But he never sent me back o. The man favored me. When he now even sent another guy back, I knew it was favor cos he had corrected me more than that guy. Sha, went in and was the first to be interviewed

Please don't panic o, you might naturally do but calm down, be slow when answering questions so she can type, listen to brother paulie carefully when arranging documents to avoid yabs and watch how he places your documents. Be the first to get there. So go very early. It helps. Cos when paulie starts with you on document arrangement, he won't be able to send you back Especially if you are the only student visa applicant at that moment. By the time 3 people came, I was already far with my arrangement and I had understood what he expected so there were fewer mistakes and he couldn't send me back

I believe I have gotten the Visa already. I speak in faith.

Finally, the day has come to give my testimony ,
Got my Visa after a very long, nerve racking process. Below is a summary of my timeline.

Admission letter : 25th October
Then came the hustle for interview date . Finally got a date in Dec.
Interview date: 18th Dec.
I did not post my transcript here cause it’s like repeating same thing for the 600th time. (sorry about that)
Then came the long wait, most pple who did interview after me got their AM. At a point I con turn “Chaplin for church oh” as in I almost felt forsaken. “Brethren” and “sistren” in my opinion, this is the hardest part of the whole process. I suddenly knew the total number of mails I get per day, and the time they arrive. The most offensive one was Jum1a , always asking me to “come and buy”, “come and buy” I almost unsubscribed sef . Anyway after 36 long days of anticipation. It finally arrived.
A.M : 23rd Jan.
My pple. As soon as I saw the mail, I first opened my fridge to drink a very big bottle of stout . In fact lemme nor lie I cancelled work for the day to recover from all d stress. I quickly went to the embassy the next day to deposit my passport oh. “So they don’t change their mind” lool. At this time all my comrades we started this journey together had gotten their Visa. And they all said mine should be ready after 4 days. So as a good boi, I waited oh. To my greatest surprise day 4 came and went, so did 5 and 6. Hmm By the 7th day I could not wait anymore. All the yellow Okada in lagos started looking like DHL in my eye . As in Anytime a yellow Okada pass me, I almost want to stop the guy and say. “Na me, na me u Dey find” . Well las las, the delivery man called me to say he’s at my office gate. what a relief I quietly walked out to pick it up.
Passport returned : 31st Jan.
I still could not process the whole story till I got home. I give all the Glory to God Almighty and all the people here who make out time from their busy schedule to ans Questions here. Special thanks to @heybaby who told me to “chill” while I was already worked up over the waiting game. May God bless u all. And for everyone at different stages. From “Admission” to “interview” to “A.M” down to passport return and final entry into DE. May the Good Lord Grant us all Our heart desires.

For the arrangement, it's not specific. Most time it is how he feels like I believe cos the way I was asked to arrange was different from another guy. The little I could take is: he will ask you to arrange it in 3 sets for each document (original photocopy photocopy). Also, the first document he will ask for are your appointment letter and 2 visa application form and passpoŕt. The documents will be arranged face down. Just arrange your documents according to the checklist, cram the checklist arrangement, so when he calls for a particular item, you can easily tell where it will be among your documents in your folder.
