This month i can see up to 5 good testimonies for study permit VISA!!! Yeah i have that feeling some people are gonna smile real big... Don't lose up, don't give up on God yet cos he never give up on you..

And thanks to those sparing their time to give valuable infos.. God bless u and do also remember the documents that Mr. A uses in getting the Visa might not help Mr. B in getting it but i urge u to work on your documents very well, cross check everything one by one and ask yourself some questions like if i am the VO handling this documents what and what can i thick down that might cause rejections for this application? that's how they do it too, they analyze your documents one by one and give u mark one by one base on your documents (the ones they're aint convinced enough with you lose mark on it so on and so forth) but lastly pray for Grace and favor since it is human being working on your documents and not computer anything is possible

I wish you a new fruitful month full of great testimonies...

Stay blessed!!!

Thank you very much. Please, regarding the travel history, is there anything I can do asides traveling to a different country first? Also, how do I prove to them that I would come back to the country after my program. What other advice would you give me in order for me to have a better chance of securing the visa.
Frankrobbn1:

It's quite unfortunate to hear your TRV application was refused. At this point, your best move is ordering your gcms note. In the absence of the note, you can share your profile, application date, the list of documents you submitted with your application, your level of education, who was your sponsor, program of choice. With these information from you, we could trace what led to the refusal of your application.

Always have in mind that the Race Is Not Always to the Swift, Nor the Battle to the Strong.

It shall end in praises in your next application

Ok, [tnks dear quote author=042viber12 post=75318407]

No u don't need such letters...Wat u need are documents to show dy are your parents which is their birth certificates and also of your siblings if u have any[/quote]
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by imade1: 9:05pm On Feb 01, 2019
Ok, if 5million naira its paid into my acc immediately
let's say by my sponsor won't it raise doubts since its a bulk money, since my inflow of cash isn't much within d 6months
042viber12:

A balance of 20mil showing on your sponsors 6months SOA is very good..honestly u need something to be in your account.. 5mil at least to cover for your living expenses even though u have a sponsor but dy want to see that u can take care of yourself incase the sponsor isn't available immediately, or dy want to see u are totally financially convered
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by imade1: 9:08pm On Feb 01, 2019
Wow, I so appreciate ur responds so sefless. God reward u amen. Will tell him to put it dat way, dat am coming back to work under him
042viber12:

The VO would really need to see a career progression in ur CV...wen u say menial job..is it related to wat u did in your Bsc..if it's not, well..u need to work on that...yes your sponsor needs to write that explaining why he chose to sponsor u...that idea to work for him also helps to tell the VO that u are definitely coming back wen u are done..in your CV, if u can include that u worked for him on a contract basis or trainee..good and fine..that way the VO will see that u v been working in that field and u have decided to seek a higher education in that field..
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by makano: 9:09pm On Feb 01, 2019
You can get this through google.. No one can help you write ur SOP. Google SOP samples, and you will get several results.
But basically SOP is about 1. Talking bout ur background 2. Why Canada and not Nigeria. 3 Why the course you going to study 4. Why the school. 5. How will the course you going for benefit you in the nearest future in your home country. And most importantly, make sure you convince them you are coming back home after your studies, this is where ur home ties will really be out to work. Like i said earlier, if you want samples, go online and do ur research. Peace

My dear, d tin is I don't really have an old photo with him o, can we do a recent photo? and getting his birth and he's not bearing same sur name with me because he's my dads cousine, how do we go about this in explaining it. And pls if I can get a sample of an SOP would really appreciate.
042viber12:

It's not mandatory but since he is your uncle, pls include a pic of you, him and your parents or dad at least to truly show you all are related...den on your SOP u will need to explain how you guys are related..also include his birth certificate, draw a family tree to show the linkage...see ehh it's tough but it's best u do all this to clear a VO who doesn't know u...
don't let rejection scare u, if u can get a sample of an SOP that will guide u o not copy and paste..u will need to take your time and write the SOP..cover all loopholes.. Finally u need to be fast cos Fall is september and processing time is 5months (20weeks)

I couldn't submit my upfront cos I did my medicals same day I submitted my app and I was given a paper from d clinic to go give them at visa center. When I got there they told me they have closed all d application for that day, that I should keep d paper when they send me for medicals, then I will scan and mail them the letter. Although d clinic where I did d medicals called me that I passed the exam and that they have equally forwarded it to CIC. I thought it would have been effected in my timeline that I passed it but haven't seen anything. Hope no qualms?

I did upfront medical (IOM Abuja) so, when submitting my application, I added it to the application (Paper route)

For fall semester right? That's probably why it's taking so long. But I suggest you email your department though to ask them.

You are right but just this week someone posted that her cousin that applied since June orAusgudt had her profile unaltered for a long time not until last week or so she got her passport request with profile showing same. I think they don't always update profiles. What I feel shaa.

thank you for this
but please where can i get mine cos i applied 2016 and i don't think i found anything like that
please assist

You will see the UCI number at the top of your refusal letter. On the account that you've misplaced the refusal letter, you will have to order your GCMS note.

U can take a recent photo...since he's your dad's cousin, u need to explain the linkage..and explain why your dad cousin wants to sponsor u on your SOP. You can say your dad's dad helped him wen his family was struggling financially..now sees sponsoring you now is a way to show his deepest appreciation for what your grand dad did..... nobody can actually type or write an SOP for u...u need to Google it...wen u are done, I can proof read it for u..though am not an expert o..
