go to your secondary school nd ask for a transcript,it should include all your scores from each session during ur stay there. Waec result is a different thing!

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Awuuga: 10:28am On Feb 03, 2019
No it isn’t. What you have is a study permit and not a work visa and as such you are expected to respect the conditions of your visa.

You can decide to work while pursing a degree, you are allowed to work a maximum of 20hrs/wk when school is in session and a few hours more when your school isn’t.
If you’re caught defaulting, you risk being deported.

Regards.

You're actually correct with the attachment. Although what the Canadian institution meant by high school transcript is a copy of the applicant online WAEC result and scratch card. After careful review of the application, a proof of high school diploma certificate (original copy of WAEC RESULT) will suffice. For this reason, the applicant figur, don't need to contact his/her high school requesting for a transcript.

I wrote that because in my first two applications in which I was denied, I didn't use a UCI and they were paper applications. I didn't even know what the abbreviation meant until my third application.

Just a clarification.

Mine was 400k because but had over 5M debits and credits. I just bought my car around that time.

I even added my car documents too...

My sponsor's SOA was 80M naira balance. And I told them he was gonna be the sponsor of the whole finances.

My mum who was a co-sponsor had 5M in her account.

Is this the right step please

Its absolutely feasible, but not advisable as you risk the chance of being eligible for a PGWP, as taking an unofficial break not scheduled by your DLI makes you ineligible unless your DLI is on a scheduled break before you can work more of 40hrs per week.

How will IRCC know

The DLI is mandated to report students who skip classes, and getting to Canada means you is to resume lectures, and resuming lectures also means you is to register your courses before the start of classes; after such registration, its already assumed by the DLI that you should start classes and receiving lectures which every student record is taken formally for info sharing especially with IRCC being an international student.

Skipping classes to work isn't worth the benefit(s) of it.

Hi nairalanders, I got to know about this group few hours ago. I'm in a cross road and don't know what decision to make, and I would need your help especially from those who has applied or are in University of Rgina.

I applied few days back to the university of Regina for an undergraduate course because I had a third class in the university here in Nigeria. So my aim is to take another undergraduate course in Canada without disclosing I have once attended a university. So i am using just my high school credentials to apply.

The problem now is that when I was filling the application form, it was written that pls disclose if you have had a previous post secondary degree and provide details....(this I skipped in the application form)

Now I have been sent a message from the university providing my student number and to submit all documents and not to withhold any information about any post secondary college I have once attended... and that Failure to disclose attendance at a previous post-secondary institution will lead to cancellation of your application.

Here is the email below

" Congratulations on submitting your application! You have been issued an ID ........ Please include this number on all correspondence you have with the U of R so we can serve you better. To complete your application we require the following:

High School Transcript(s). Please click here for specific country high school information.

University or College transcript(s) if you attended post-secondary institutions. Failure to disclose attendance at another post-secondary institution will lead to cancellation of your application.

Proof of English Language Proficiency (Click to see the list of ELP Options)

A copy of your passport

If you have not been in school for over 2 years please briefly describe (a sentence or two is sufficient) what you have been doing since graduation

*Please send all documents in PDF format to international.admissions@uregina.ca."

I don't want to be denied admission because of the grades i had at my previous university if I provide them with the transcript.......because this was what happened when I applied to the university of Winnipeg early this year, I was denied admission because of my grades even though it was undergraduate course I applied for using my high school certificate which I had very high grades in (only had to provide my post secondary documents because it was mentioned I did) .

Please what should I do, what steps should I take

Thanks all in advance.

I don't know if what i'm about to write is still the norm, but medical test results use to be valid for 12 months - it was on the cic website - which meant that if you applied again during the period of its validity, you could still use it/refer to it if a medical examination was requested again. Things may have changed now, i'm not too sure.

It's still the norm. They're valid for a year

You are right though. God help Nigeria. My prayer is that everyone will one day experience a working system.

What I meant by less is more is, sometimes the more information we give, the more they scrutinize. I know people have been denied visas citing lack of sufficient funds as a reason, people with 100million in their account have also been refused visa, no one size fits all. I thought about getting a statement of all my accounts but thought against it. I personally(my opinion)wouldn't use an acct with say 100 million or even 50 million in it to apply for a student visa. If I was a VO I would say to myself "this person is trying too hard" Again, that's just me ooo.

By the way my niece is in Nigeria.
I get your point . May God see our great nation through

Alright so, everyone is telling you not to do it and let me tell you why to form a different angle: if you do not get caught you will end up developing an internal fright that will haunt you in obtaining a post-graduate work permit and even beyond that.
CBSA showing up at your door and taking you away is not a pretty scene, you don't want to see that coming. Right? Yes
Lemme tell you a story a guy shared in Nairaland some years back.
He got himself a study permit in the UK, he had a very good immigration record but he wanted to play smart (well... Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do to put food in the table). He went to do an arrangee marriage, unfortunately to him, it flopped, to keep the story short, he was deported and faced 10 years ban from entry the UK.
See, what the guy did it's kinda rampant in the UK but it was unfortunate for him.
According to him, he said the immigration officer that handled his case was pitying him and told him that he looks gentle and easy going and have a very good immigration record, she said he shouldn't have done it.,
She said, she's sorry but he will have to take it cause the law is not in her hand.
That was how he saw himself in Nigeria to start from square one all over again.
He said, he couldn't cry or hate himself, he did it cause he's running out of funds and he is getting nothing from home cause he has to send something home.
(Y'all know there are lots of benefits when you marry a citizen).
So my brother, learn from this story, I could feel the pain from the guy when I was reading the story, it happened like a film to him, he couldn't shout nor cry.
what you are about to do is a very risky cause if CBSA comes knocking at your door, the story is not going to end well.
mind you, CIC/IRCC usually check back on every International student through DLI to check if you're still maintaining your studentship.
I hope you've gotten your TRV, if you haven't, this should be the least you should be thinking of.

(for the fact they keep increasing our processing time, that's to tell you that, they are having issues with Nigerians, and maybe to themselves, they have to put more effort and time in our application. Well, God pass them FINALLY)

Bless you
