Cc @ifeoma77 Good morning, please do you know how CIC counts the 15 days to submit Passport. Is it 15 business days or does it include weekends

I think it's 15 calendar days. If it was business days, it would have been stated.
If there's any reason why you can't meet up with the 15 days, it's pretty easy to get an extension

Sorry English can be hard sometimes so does that mean it includes weekends

Good morning guys

So I have a friend who is skeptical about applying because of her son who has down syndrome.

I wasn't sure what to tell her...is down syndrome a problem for the express entry program?

I hope this article from Sometime last year June 2018 about the amendment to the law on medical inadmissibility provisions. ,will help answer your question about down syndrome and your friend can apply with her son as disabilities is no longer a barrier in coming to Canada.

The government of Canada has announced significant changes to a policy that barred certain would-be immigrants on account of their intellectual or physical disabilities.
The revised policy is expected to result in a significant reduction in the number of refusal on account of disabilities. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) said the change is likely to “dispense with the majority of medical inadmissibility cases seen in Canada today.”

“The current provisions on medical inadmissibility are over 40 years old and are clearly not in line with Canadian values or our government’s vision of inclusion,” stated Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Ahmed Hussen, who cited a selection of cases whereby applicants had suffered the consequences of the regulations.

These case studies included a tenured professor at York University in Toronto who was denied permanent residence because his son had Down syndrome, and another case of a family that came to Canada and started a business, but were rejected because their child has epilepsy.
“These newcomers can contribute and are not a burden to Canada,” said Hussen. “These newcomers have the ability to help grow our economy and enrich our social fabric.”

According to IRCC, the new policy on medical inadmissibility strikes a balance between protecting publicly funded health and social services and updating the policy to bring it in line with current views on the inclusion of persons with disabilities. The changes include:

increasing the cost threshold for medical inadmissibility to three times the previous level; and
amending the definition of social services by removing references to special education, social and vocational rehabilitation services and personal support services.

Before this change, the cost threshold for a medical demand to be considered excessive was $6,655 CAD per year, or $33,275 over five years. With the threshold now increased three-fold, the revised threshold would be $19,965 per year.

Thanks a lot!

Lool at similarity. Nothing is impossible, though I doubt it’s the same person. But it just goes to show you that even in our quest, we all have some similarity in our motivation.

Bless!!

I thought we were to opt out the nysc part.... Do I have to upload nysc certificate and posting letter?
Please if you have used nysc experience in your application please kindly come to my aid o. This service year experience thing is giving me heartache
If you want to claim point for Nysc, you should provide documents to support the work experience. Aim at making your application legit and straight up straight forward.

They will count if they're the same job roles and functions, say for instance, not being a plumber on one job and a tailor at another. If you claim to be a tailor in the first job, stick to being a tailor or fashion designer in the other jobs. They're still related.
cc efeklvn so untrue, you can combine different NOC
