Why worry over the things you have no power over. Dragnet has improved over the years. The credibility was questioned sometime from reasons of change of scores to question leaks and so on but they have changed and they are even more organized. I was part of the Chevron 2012 and Mobil 2012 recruitment conducted by dragnet. The situation was worse from bad servers to poor coordination of the candidate. The credibility of that exam was nothing to write home about. In my thought, I felt I could change things and escalated the matter to chevron, guess what? Nothing happened. Chevron moved on with the results. I sat and thought again, I regretted my actions. What was it about this test? The co-ordination, the difficulty or the leak test? If it is the difficulty, then yo have proven yourself to be a fool. You don’t have any right to state or determine what questions a prospective employer gives to you. If it is the leak test, are you talking about repetition of questions? Even SHL repeats questions. Having the opportunity to answer a question that has been asked at a previous test means you are someway qualified to work for that company because a test invitation isn’t for everyone. Some people have been rejected for this same recruitment. The post on LinkedIn is very unprofessional, you don’t go about being critic of a prospective, past or present employer publicly. One fear of these type of organizations are personalities that have the tendency to rebel, they are scared of unions, whilst unions are there to protect the right of staff, you don’t want to be identified as one that will belong to a union before you are employed. Show your competency on the job before you join a union. Many of Nigerian graduates need to be professional and need more learning. These are a few things I had to learn the hard way. Escalating the matter to chevron wasn’t necessary as I had little or no power over it. If they decide to send everyone a rejection mail, would you question them? No. We need to be cautious of our actions. If there is anything I have noticed about dragnet recently, it is that they have improved. It is not only graduate they conduct test for. I wrote a mid level test in September and I passed. I was surprised myself. That was my first pass, i believe I had mastered the system over the years. Recruiting cost money and I am sure Mobil won’t want to waste their money neither will dragnet want to put their name in a bad light.
Lesson: when you write test and Interviews, you have little or no control over the outcome. You have the opportunity to decline or accept writing. Should you accept, move on after the exams or interview. Remain hopeful but don’t exact force over nothing you can change.

Well, if you don't prove a fool, then you're proving a coward or something; either way one proof is sure.
A firm that chooses to rely on outsourced entities with this character is doing itself a disservice.... Though I'm just hearing of a possible leak, personally I found a question or two I came across last year on their platform. You can be a genius and some Joe who wrote a similar test last month will get the next job and you sit at home. If Mobil handpicked those questions, I'll rest my case.
It's just terrible that graduates always have to be at the receiving end. Send rejection mail all round? I long for the day graduates will shun job ads, tighten their belts and pursue their businesses. Imagine how much ppl spent traveling to test centres. . . if I did this test at home I wouldn't complain. One would think you're going to a controlled centre, but you just find out that the chaos isn't sheltered by test centres; it has nothing to do with the centres.
Looking at the crowd that took the test, chances are already very slim. What really is lost if you point out a glaring glitch? And though I asked for the link, I haven't been able to read the post. I believe he referred to dragnet. Besides the two are separate entities, there's dragnet on my pinky and then there's Mobil on my thumb. If they're looking for sound candidates, with their scope of experience, it is just natural to wish an equal level of soundness from who's appraising/hiring. AB-InBev host their tests and video interviews on their own platform...just saying though, I dunno the costs but I believe Mobil is bigger than AB-InBev.
One may not be able to change the outcome of this, plus I dunno much about being a unionist as my workplace doesn't permit such either, but I believe unions would become obsolete if employers did what was sane/humane.
So, if the thought leader has thought these and is convinced to bring it to light, I'm not calling that a wrong move or foolishness, but uprightness.
As a general statement, the more protests there are IFO suppression of basic rights, the worse the ills will get. There's no other way about that.

I personally think that there is a difference between a leaked question and a repeated question.
Let's get that fact right.
Because a question is repeated doesnt mean the recruitment agency is incapable in anyway.
If you say this is not the best way to get the right candidates true however lets remember there are other stages to be crossed. Besides those who eventually scale through the last stage still go through training and the likes. Theory is purely different from practical.

Because a university lecturer repeated a question doesnt make him incapable and I guess that is why most students go through past questions.

If you werent lucky enough to get dragnet pq thats no ones fault. Afterall practice they say makes perfect. The person who practiced and pass because he saw the pq doesnt mean he is dull.

Calling dragnet out is uncalled for. This is dragnet pattern success or reject mail we move and hope for brighter days.

I think it is high time we stop expecting to go to exam hall and see simple question. In all honesty do you think seeing simple questions in an exam hall is a true test of knowlegde? In the end exam whatever type it may be or form it may come in isnt the true test of knowledge

What do you gain coming here to make these kind of posts? When there's nothing, you just put some people in panic mode for nothing.

This is not university exam or test, and moving forward you need maturity in the place of work.

Dragnet must definitely have some reps here...whatz all the fuxx about and common if you did your best in the test...don't bother cos it's either you or someone else..

Exxon conducted the tests themselves. I didn't prepare for it as iv been off location on the field and only came in to write the test. At the same time i'm thoroghly grounded in my field of structural engineering so I solved all the questions correctly, ticked appropraitely and finished the entire 50 questions 10min before time. questions cut across offshore structures, wave kinematics, RC structures, welding design, indeterminate structures, waste water management and biological oxygen demand etc I answered all and I was certain I would be called, all things being equal, so I wasnt too surprised.

And I just read a post about someone saying dragnet has sent the results today and exxon is prepping to send mails and I've re-read the thread and I can't find it.

Besides, any Joe who can pass a familiar test and go on to scale other stages of recruitment to the extent of being offered an appointment deserves to be addressed as "smart"Joe, don't you think?

What if I say personalizing that quote reveals who you truly are, the kind that will exploit every loophole you stumble upon, damning whatever suffers. Who passes judgement like that? You missed everything I said and at this point I could be demeaning to tell you to get out of my face.
I never said the test was difficult, I haven't called myself a genius, and I haven't faulted any other stage that I've not witnessed or experienced. Congratulations to your "smart Joe" for getting the appointment. We are talking integrity here...you are engineers here! Y'all should know better about integrity of testing equipment! You know what? Usually, I prefer to watch from the sidelines, but due to the fact that you have continually pushed this uncharitable narrative in this intellectual space which would be referenced by future prospectives, I would offer my 50 cent opinion.
After service in 2018, without any prior info about dragnet, I came to Lagos from Benin and wrote a dragnet test which I had never written at that time(and admitted was quite tough), went through the entire recruitment process and was given employment (I currently work there). I believe dragnet has basically offered a "somewhat" level playing field. So, your statement about geniuses missing out and a random Joe passing doesn't hold water except it's based on some research which you have done (I highly doubt that). Whether you like it or not, a lot of first timers would ace this test, so stop with all the squealing. And what do you mean by integrity of the process when a 2yrs experienced engineer is going through the same process as an Engineer who just finished Nysc? So it's all subjective! Therefore, don't rubbish dragnet on some personal vendetta.

Exactly! Getting an ExxonMobil job can be life changing so no need to provide false information here.

A few info:

*The 2 white guys you saw during the test are most likely security personnel (expatriates). So you dont necessarily rely on the 2 or 4 weeks they mention. Management decide that.

* The most important stage is the first interview currently ongoing. Once you pass that, there is 90% chance you eventually get the job. There is one more interview though.

* information reaching me is that more than .0 engineers in total will be hired

* mails for Graduate position interview has not yet started rolling in. Most likely next week.
