I know you don't get trained in Nigeria to be GDPR compliant however since I have brought it to your knowledge try and read what it means and how it works, it is not about where the persons are based rather where the companies are based, now Google and Facebook are in the EU, so if the use ur data or bridge EU data protocol while using ur data from Nigeria, you can take them to the cleaners. Do you understand?
You do not have to be a resident in the EU. But cos we use data in the UK we all have to be trained and get a certificate for this so that staff could be held accountable.
