The bolded is not completely the case. Some players who use their real age still do not progress well. Several factors can affect a player's career progress.

We all know age cheating is common in our football circles but using pictures alone to condemn a player to be an age cheat is a No no for me.

Just look at a 21 years old Taiwo Awoniyi. This is a boy we knew when he wrote and passed WAEC and went throug the MRI. If we never had such info about him people would have accused him of age cheating. Infact some still do especially after his wedding story.

There is no big deal in mikel still playing at 31, obi mikel reduced his age at least by 4 year not 10 years okay
