Queensland business and skilled state nomination programs now closed
8 February 2019
By Official BSMQ

Queensland has now closed state nomination for all business and skilled visas (submitted through SkillSelect) from today 8 February 2019.

No further invitations will be issued from this date. BSMQ will continue to process applications which have been already invited for state nomination prior to this date until our quota is exhausted.

BSMQ will re-open the State Nomination Program in the new financial year. Please submit a new EOI after the new occupation lists have been released in July. We will not select any submitted EOI’s prior to this time

I still need help

aduredee:
Hi guys, I have read the whole of this thread, but I still have lots of question s.
Here is a breakdown of my scores

Age -30
Education- 15
Ielts - 20
Total 65

I want to nominate 272313 (organisational psychology) as I have a bsc Psych and msc Industrial and organisational psychology).

My husband has a bsc in psych but he has been working as an admin officer for more than 5 yrs, I don't know what to nominate him for so that I can claim 5 points.

Now I need to figure out how to claim points for my experience; I worked in a department of psychology for 1yr during Nysc, I also worked in HR for 2 yrs (the job roles can be tweaked as they are closely related)

I also have another 2 yrs experience in my father in-law's company, but the company doesn't really have a physical structure (I do basic admin/ hr work though) and he pays me monthly.

@bellong and others kindly access my situation so I can figure out how to proceed.

P.S I checked this nomination thing but I don't understand how it works or what it really entails.

Your assessing body is APS, click here for the process.

Which school and the duration of your husband's course, maybe he can also assess as a psychologist. Check the APS requirements. Or what does he do as an admin officer maybe another job could be proposed.

You need to satisfy some requirements for you to claim experience as a psychologist, click here for the minimum requirement.

If you can get the spousal point, I think you should be fine with 70 points as psychologist are not that competitive.

Best of luck.

Zany.

Good Day House,

I've done my evaluation which was positive evaluation with 1yr 3months approved out of 3years. However, PTE had been a stumbling block for me to cross. My last attempt was LSWR 68 44 83 75. Is it advisable to enter the pool while I continue to strive to conquer the exam or wait till I ace it. As it stands, I'm on 45 points. Please advise.

Please i want to register for the PTE moct and the actual test please..i need to try the mock test so as to test my ability before doing actual test.

Start reading from the opening page of this thread, all the information needed are available there.

Meanwhile, accounting is very very competitive and you will need at least 75 points to have a shot at being invited. Why not look at the Canadian Express entry, it is a similar process but there are more occupations available there.

If you get paid during NYSC and can proof the experience, yes you can add it.

Payslip, pension fund statement and tax certificate are other things you can use.
