If she can it will be great. Good luck

Good morning bro,

Since I was denied in 2017,I lost interest in travelling to Canada for study because it takes a long time to get a decision on visa application.
But now I am ready to try again, I want to do GIS in my Pgd at Niagara College. Or can you suggest a nice university that can accept a 2.2 of 3.16 cgpa in environmental management related course.

Thanks. Will see how the pm works and will do
I have gone through your profile and there's nothing wrong in it. These VOs are humans and sometimes have a bad day, so it is very possible your application got to a VO on one of his/her bad days. I bet if you apply again with same profile you will get your TRV, this time try to include LOE(letter of explanation). In this letter draw the attention of the VO to the reasons they denied for you and let them know you have all those ticked (even in your last app).
Good luck in your next app.
NB: I have seen so many cases where people are denied and they reapplied(without adding or removing any document) and are given TRV. Don't touch anything in your present profile, don't

I can't suggest any university, but I know most universities pay more attention to your last 2 years or so in the university (so don't be too bothered about your 2.2). Use Google to search for schools offering your proposed course, then you can email them to know more about their admission process and requirements.
Good luck

Hello fam, I was denied a US visiting visa reason because of the VOs decision, I am working towards applying for Canadian study visa. Now, my question is, will my US visa denial affect my Canada study visa application.? Please the gurus in the house should kindly throw more light on this. And also advise me on what to do in such a case. Thank you.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by wealth360: 9:42am On Feb 14, 2019
It doesn't have anything to do with your TRV, as long as you declared that you were once denied a visa when applying for your Study Permit. Good luck

Hello everyone,

Please, I need to confirm something.
My financial sponsor (who is my older sister) provided 2 treasury bill investments which she stated in her letter that she has set aside the money for my studies in Canada. She has also paid my first-year tuition fees.
she has a letter of introduction from her employer and 6months salary account statement.
My question is that, does she need to provide proof showing that she has other investments apart from these 2 treasury bills investments

Hello Kevwe,

There will be no need given the presence of the already stated "proof of funds/financial" documents but if such documents of investment is easily accessed, you might as well include it for some added credibility to your app showing also a clear additional "source of funds"

You stand a better chance applying to colleges but if you have extra funds outside your total app budget, then you can apply to some colleges & unis expanding your chances

Am sorry to hear about your denial, you really persevered. Revamp and refire, you will definitely get it.

Who called my name? It's been a while since I contributed here. After one year of my application pending, it was finally denied. Good news is its only based on purpose of visit and GCMS stated I graduated from the University in the USA since 2006 and never attended any more school since then until now, so they are not convinced I would be a genuine student. Sincerely I expected worst. So I intend to revamp and refire addressing their concerns. I am enjoying Nigeria a lot and my new job. That is why I have not been here sorry. But promise to be returning from time to time to give free information and help. Miss you guys. This forum taught me a lot and I am glad I was able to give back and helped a lot of people here go to Canada during my time here full time so called gurusmiley

Good evening bro. I must really commend you for your relentless effort in responding to all comments here. you're doing a great job!
pls,I only have one question which is considered to be very vital in my decision of studying in Canada.
pls I will like to ask, do you think I need to present proof/evidence of finance at Nigeria embassy even after getting a Graduate Assistant job for my Msc in Canada? This question is important pls.,

My apologies for responding late.

Yes, you need to provide additional proof of financial support aside the Graduate Assistant job that was awarded to you for your studies in Canada. With that said, I would suggest you get a sponsor (father, mother, brother, sister, uncle or aunt) to finance your flight itinerary to and fro, and other expenses that may arise during your stay in Canada. The objective of having a sponsor is to prove to the Visa officer that your family members are well off and established in Nigeria and you will not be a burden to the Canadian government.

Good Day Sir,

Thank you for the help so far. Here is the gcms note and this is the exact reason why I was refused a visa. What exactly do you think and what would you advice I do next? Thank you Sir.

My post you've just quoted has solved the concerns of the visa officer stated on your GCMS note. Please take your time to study it effectively. Should you require further guidance, you can quote my post here, and I will respond at the earliest possible time.

God bless all your efforts and assistance you have been rendering.

Please can you assist me and go through my GCMS note. I can't seem to make any headway from it. I want to try again and apply but need your assistance to guide me through some errors I had made in the previous application. I used an agent and discovered the agent was just after making her money which led to so many documents not being submitted.

I will appreciate your kind gesture please.

I'm sorry to hear your study visa application was refused and the excruciating experience you had with the agent that handled your previous application. You're certainly free to share me your GCMS note and I will be happy to advise you appropriately.

Amen! Thanks for the best wishes.

I look forward to hearing from anyone.

Irrespective of funding, you will show your capacity to take care of your yourself as if the funding wasn't Involved.

If normally 1Million is required for your schooling and feeding, ...
You will be expected to show atleast 500k in your SOA.

It is a good opportunity though, try not to complicate the whole process of application by Raking documents here and there.

Guys, Must a student write an English language test before getting a visa for Canada even after his school has waived the test and gave him admission? Will Embassy still demand the test result?

NO you don't need an English proficiency test result prior to applying for a Canadian study visa.

Some of the great guys i met here in 2017....

@jnyuwa02
@Frankrobbn1

Wasn't rosy at first because i always disagreed with what they say often...

Do this..
Do that...

Oga Ade, but you never get this Visa Now?

I have never met a matured reply like @jnyuwa02 , Instead of coming for me, he slowed down and pacified my frustration, he automatically sent me on therapy, changed me from the original perspective.

@frankrobbn1 won't even reply me, i was always looking for his trouble, ... na Visa we dey find, why everybody come serious like this?

Rejection came , I went berserk, stopped reading the entire page, then when i opened it after after 2 weeks i saw a guy who came to give his testimony, he submitted and application with 1m balance mistakenly, and he was meant to have like 20Mil to apply, he got his visa.

I applied again the next day.

I am not an agent, though a lot of people send me mails asking to pay for me to do stuffs for them, ... the truth is that many people don't feel they have to be sincere, and i tell them i only work sincerely, i can't help you to kill your future.

Yes, you need to provide additional proof of financial support aside the funding that was awarded to you for your studies in Canada. You can possibly include a personal bank statement that will cover your flight itinerary to and fro and other miscellaneous expenses.
