Thank you sir. When I was in secondary school I remember seniors in their late teens and early twenties, so it's very possible. However in Mikels case that U17 picture showed by the Goodjoe resembles that of a 16 year old in my opinion except it was photoshopped. And to agree with you, the pepsi academy talk and plateau utd comments not water tight in my assessment.
I mean I'm not saying Mikel faked his age. I'm saying it's not far fetched to suggest he did. This was the period before MRI where age cheating was at extreme levels.

How about not t saying what the person does not know. He does not know a thing about Mikel during his young age even though he claims to do. He does not know about Mikel's young days. So why go about claiming Mikel shaved off four or more years.

He does not know.

Finito.

Very difficult and close to impossible for a Sixteen year old to pass as 12.

It's VERY possible oo my brother.

You're acting like you don't know how some of these naija "academies" work.
How many times have we heard stories of players who come for trials but get told they are too "small" and should go down an age grade??
I'm not saying Mikel shaved off 4 years(maybe he did, maybe he didn't) but let's not use "he was found as 12" talk as proof he is truly 12....this is naija...everything and anything is possible.
.

Very correct

Did you see the game? If you did, how did he play? I had high expectations on him after the olympics. He and even etebo have not really harnessed their God given talents, such good players with a lot of promise, but they eventually at least meet expectations on them soon.
