It's not a must if it's not requested for. But I feel you should normally add it to your application, especially if you're applying for a course related to what you did. It gives more clarity on what you've done and how it can be relevant to what you're applying for.

However, you'll only need to send the abstract and conclusion. No need for the rest.

About your lost project, I want to assume that it's the hard copy you lost.
Try to approach your department and see if you'll be allowed access to the one you submitted to them (of course, you should be allowed access since it's your work). From there, you can make a photocopy of your work and keep the copy.

To prevent issues like this later on, always ensure that you have soft copies of every important document you have. You can do this by scanning them into PDF(Camscanner app can do that for you perfectly), and uploading to Google Drive. It's gonna be there forever

@bolded, I never knew you had the soft copy oh. Just print out the abstract and conclusion. Attach it to your application documents. That's all. You'll be fine.. no need to retrieve hard copies from your school anymore

To my folks that applied to THD, master in Mechatronics and CPS, although you met the minimum admission requirement, you were not admitted simply because some other applicants were better qualified, based on other documents submitted.
I hear they didn´t request for SOP or GRE or certain tests scores or reference letters, but remember you´re always asked to provide docs that would aid your application.

Be that as it may, the strongest element in an application is a SOP/motivational letter. Work experience, vocational skills et al are ephemeral...

Trust me, the competition would be more come winter 2019 application. I´d advice you start preparing right now. Take IELTS/TOEFL, GRE isn´t too much. Give your best in writing your SOP.
When all these are checked, then you look for schools that are easy to apply for (yh yh don´t forget your prefered choice of course )

No offence, but these Indians that are 96% of our class aren´t more qualified than some of us here, but they know what it takes to be admitted and they did the needful. So also the incoming students. I´m not saying you should engage in any frivolous act or falsified ish, but you gotta take this application P

We all gotta thrive, I´m no clairvoyant or seen no crystal ball, but I know what runs through the mind of the average person applying.

The part in bold is exactly what they told me in the mail they sent to me.

But make we no lie, your school botched this application. It was rushed and poorly planned. The only reason I still applied to that school is because I have great interest in the course contents. And that's probably why I will still apply again.

The first sign was when they moved the date of beginning of applications for some courses to 15 November instead 1 Nov as was indicated on their site. It was after I reached out to let them that they changed the dates on the site and replied that they were sorry they couldn't meet the initial date again.

Then when the applications started, there was another mix up. I applied early so I saw it and reached out to them again. Then they corrected it. There was no where to even upload transcripts in the initial form. And there is still no place to put motivational letter and GRE and all. If they were particular about such things then they should have put it there. And put a place for them to be uploaded.

Their language requirements is another story too. They changed the language requirements on the site after application started. When I reached out to the lady, she said things always change all the time. I laughed. In other words they are unreliable.
If no be German language certificate wey Bremerhaven dey ask for before enrollment, I for don use the admission wey dem give me take apply for visa. But I am not too keen on the course and I will not be able to pass a language exam in that short notice.

I will still apply to THD again. Because of the initial reason I stated and because I am sure they have learnt from this fiasco and will do a better job next semester.

I go still dey hala u sha. Hopefully by that time u would have started taking lectures on immersive technologies and additive manufacturing and will be able to tell me if the course contents and experience are actually worth it.

bros in as much as I don't have any issue about what you post if not for the school you listed you can as well give us your AM which am sure no wan can use for anything here ,also your admission letter or the letter the school sent to you which you used for summer ,even your visa you can cover the important part and only show the city lame we all know the city in question the reason is so people don't believe what is not obtainable in future .
Cos a friend got say school and they refused vehemently to defer admission so if you sure clear us please no vex make we for learn

This is a better fit especially those Darmstadt programs. Also look at English Language programs (Check Berlin Schools) that add multimedia communication to the curriculum.
