Boss, don't go to Bahamas
From what i know... It's an island full of inner city ghettos, gang violence, and poverty.

Those island countries are only good for tour.

Baba, no go that side.
Our country is better than there.
Sit back at home and look for opportunities.
A better option is getting a return ticket before trying the place out.
If things don’t work out you can quickly run back home.

Bahamas is beautiful but expensive to live and no jobs. Also they deport easy any who overstayed a tourist visa. Better try Belize which is a little more easy on foreigners and it's also an English speaking country, many blacks too.

California? Maybe Florida. Better go to Cuba, marry a Cuban lady and ask in US embassy for asylum, Cubans and there spouses have the asylum easy or get in the Cuban refugees boat, it's probably cheaper than Bahamas.

Obama administration ended the Cuban wet foot dry foot policy. For decades if a Cuban could make it to the USA on foot they were given asylum. That policy no longer exists. I believe also Obama admin ended the Cuban Doctor defection program. Cuban Doctors working abroad could walk into any US Embassy and defect. Does the Cuban government allow outsiders to move there? Can't imagine any work there. The government recently has allowed for some Cubans to be self employed, cuentapropistas’. Most get a government paycheck, $30-$40 a month USA.

Coast Guard knows the water based smuggling routes pretty well. The Florida coast is pretty well guarded.

Oh, thank you. I didn't hear about it, yet Obama did against immigrants many things, more than any President. Still, if a Cuban citizen makes it to American embassy, he/she can ask for asylum, the thing is Cubans in their country are not allowed to approach to the American embassy by Cuban police, there is a Nigerian spouse who can walk in and ask for asylum for both, the foreign spouse is entitled to asylum based on being married to a Cuban. The thing is the Cuban shouldn't get out to any other country, it should be asking for USA asylum from Cuba, the foreign spouse and joint kids are accepted as the Cuban family.

Yes, and waters are very dangerous there, storms and sharks, some strong currents can take the boat to another country.

That is true, you can always try to ask at an Embassy.

Student visa . Surest for a Young guy. 2.5 million bank statement from your Sponsor. You no necessarily need to Get the money.. 1million fit tidy the whole process pay school fees book flight. you fit still get change if you no use agent. Then the remaining 1million use like 750 dollars rent student accommodation for like 3months because you need proof of accommodation for at least 3months at the embassy. you go still get like 2k dollars Wey you go take follow up for that 3months before even if you no wan begin hustle work instantly. But no overstay your visa for that Bahamas.. it's not advisable. nothing like say you they legal for another man Land.

So you also think the authorities of Bahamas don't know that fact as well?
Fyi those Island countries with proximity to the US are very very strict with immigration, they wouldn't hesitate to deport at the poe if your intention of visit doesn't rhyme with what they are used to-from business to tourism, basically they do not welcome immigration (it's clearly stated on their site).

I suggest you don't go there if that's your plan, it was before and when I mean before I mean the 80's and 90's it could have worked, but not now.

Bahamas visa cost less than 1 mil but flight is 900k - 1.3 depending on the airline. BTA bad as e bad is usd1k. Brethren Bahamas na bad market for someone that wants to 've a good life, I mean genuine work. I 've Bahamas visa, hotel reservation with HumesHouse at Hillcrest in Nassau Bahamas and flight ticket with notable airline but after forensic research and consultations from people over there that are honest, I've decided to call it off. I've requested for reimbursement from hotel and airline cos I no fit jump from frying pan to fire..
The immigrant over there no dey look Funke bum bum or Emeka 6packs. U.S. coastal guard no dey smile, they re sophisticated.

In as much as i want to port from Naija, I want to 've a good life, first world countries still remain good options.

I created this thread to guide young people not to make mistake, so you won't find your self in a state of Kum gam kum...
