How likely would Chinese Customs seize goods imported from their country?

My agent couldn't deliver the goods I purchased and paid for saying that it was seized at the Chinese airport.

After more than two months of waiting, I decided to contact my suppliers to know if they have had similar experiences but they said know that they have been shipping the same item for years with no problems and don't think it's the fact.

This is strange to me because it's been years since I started importation and having come close to hearing a thing like this.

If anyone has had this experience, please do share and let me know the way forward. Items are certainly not contraband. What could be the reason for the confiscation according to the agent?

Please note that I have just shipped the same item with a different agent and it came in within one week.

Dear All. Please I need your help. I met Greenaircargo here and since he has refused to pick my call. I think I should talk to him here and for you all to also assist me.
I approached him to help me buy some shoes and to cargo as well. I gave him some links and he also searched for some after given him pictures. We agreed on type, colour, sizes and when to receive them

He made some calculations and requested I sent him 225,454 . procurement fee and cost of shoes. After sending to him. He sent message that he forgot to add some shoes so I should send 16,872 which I did. I told him to explain clearly and he did but till now I don't understand. He told me I would receive mails on my orders and till now I have not received the official mail. He kept ignoring the question.
We agreed that I would receive some shoes on Friday this week if I would pay for express which of course I agreed. I needed some other stuff and he sent me link. He sounded desperate and I was warned to receive mY first orders first before doing any business with him.
Now the issue. He sent me some shoes to choose as the express. I kept sending the particular shoes I needed for express but he was sending another shoes. I called him this morning telling him that was the 3rd time I would be sending the shoes to him. He started the usual long stories that Chinese is this and that. I told him to give me specific response on when I would receive my shoes. He said the shoes are manufactured based on orders and the man said it would take 2 to 3 days to produce . the question is I sent the money a week ago so if production is 2 or 3 days how come It won't be ready till next week. He dropped the call on me. I called back and he mentioned monday and dropped the call. He has stopped picking me calls.

My only question to him is when will I get all my shoes in Nigeria. Just a simple question and he kept giving me so many excuses.

Please help me beg him to tell me when I will get my shoes and it has to be my requested size, colour and design. Is that too difficult to say.
Help me because I am at his mercy. He has bad temper as well.

If only I had read the message before dealing with him. Yes , she is correct, he would sound nice until you send him money.

But let me narrate what happened briefly.
I was patronised by the said complainant, to procure 1000plastic bottles with bamboo cover, which is ordinary a contraband. But that was not the issue.

I procured successfully...
I shipped, but items were intercepted by customs, which wasn't expected to happen ordinarily on any other day aside the festive period occasionally.

So a fine was demanded by customs which I in turn communicated with the client.. I even worked out ways to reduce landing cost to accommodate the charge... But no, she had to run over here to type all that and crucify.

I guess she promised to update the house on the final outcome, but that never happened because she has collected her goods in good condition.

But ultimately all this are part of business.

I hope my summary is concise enough.
