Tundesam923:Why should I like a guy that burned bridges at a team that paid him twice. If you double JuJu Smith then more food for the other tight ends and receivers. The NFL is the ultimate team sport. What people are not getting in this matter is that Big Ben made Antonio Brown not the other way round. Absence of AB means less forced throws and more balanced targets and ball distribution. Ben has thrown over 300 TDs and 50k yards The Steelers offense was strong in the 2008-2009 Superbowl season. It wasn't just the defense |

KNIGHTBlaed:Not with the king. They already blew out the Warriors this season, we beat OKC, Rockets, Celtics etc so it wasn't gonna be a problem |

donlittle25:Lwkmd. The Leastern Conference hid LeNomad for the longest time. Just one season in the West and their MCM's team has tapped out with 17 games left! This for me is even more disappointing than them not making the playoffs. I thought they would even put up a fight. Waving the white flag this early has even killed the fun out of trolling these guys |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:33pm On Mar 10, 2019 |
steady986:You blew all these guys out.l but tapped out with 16 games left. The Lakers should have been first seed if these teams weren't a problem. Oh! Shuccks.. Teams like Suns, Kings, Orlando were the problem. Now I get it. Guy!! Come and be going.

KNIGHTBlaed:God will double you account balance for remembering these. This is how a classic LeDickrider thinks. They switch the narrative when it favours them. On All star weekend, Klay Thompson and Draymond are not all stars. Warriors lose a regular season game. "The have 5 all stars but won't make the finals." You win in the finals, suddenly Klay and Draymond become all stars and you hear "They have 5 all stars what do you expect?" |

In a sport where career ending injury can happen any time, I appreciate the broda wanting to get paid. The deal with the raiders was simply about money nothing else if the steelers were willing to pay him what comparable talents were earning I doubt he would have even demanded for a trade in the first place. |

Khanben:straight up bro! No guarantees in that contract with the Steelers. Heard 30 million plus in his new contract with the raiders. Who could blame him? He's almost 31 and maybe have 2 or 3 years of elite play. |

It's always a fun thing to see the Warriors bottle a game against the worst team in the league. If it was Lebron and the Lakers now we no go hear word. Where was the so called Lebron wannabe (KD) when it was unfolding? |

steady986:I honestly don't know what this guy was thinking. He took off as crazy as a Boeing 737-8 but with an interesting landing. This guy got hops abeg. |

SmooshCHN:I'm not sure he even knew what he was going to do when he took off. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:11pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Khanben:Underpaid for 10 years? No be 2010 e enter league? Haba. You people should fear God nau! We gave him a $42.5m/5 year deal after his second season where other teams would have allowed him to run his rookie contract, bear in mind he was a 6th round pick And after that deal expired he was given a $68m/4 year deal that made him the highest paid receiver in the game! So if the Giants or Texans pay Odell or Hopkins a certain amount 2 or 3 years later, you don't expect the Steelers to react to every change in the market. So you see The Steelers took care of Antonio Brown abeg. You people should stop spreading this false narrative. We won 0 Superbowls with him and got to 0 Superbowls even with him in his prime so I really don't care |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:13pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
SmooshCHN:The only constant with this Warriors team this season is it's unseriousness on defense. Which is understandable but no less worrying |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:18pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Tundesam923:Is that why he quit on the team on the last week of the season? Is that why he has been acting like a lunatic attacking journalists, missing team meetings and behaving like a douchegoblin? If you want more money there are mature ways you can go about it instead of bringing an organization and their QB to disrepute. We Steelers fans are ready for a fresh start. Antonio Brown does not exist to us. The Steelers have a conveyor belt of receivers so can't be bothered |

A40:His presence was like a disease in the locker room, discouraging young players. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:08pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Killrhymz:He's a locker room nuisance. Just watching his statements and videos since this whole thing started. If you're a team interested in winning forget it! You can't win with Antonio Brown. He's always been about his numbers whether the team wins or not. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 4:26pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
A40:Another thing how does him being a 6the round pick affect his contract. His contract should be dependent on his production, which he was doing at an elite level. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Tundesam923(m): 6:19pm On Mar 11, 2019*. Modified: 6:36pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Khanben:yes! Read it too. You could check the one on theringer.com. very nice and even bleacher report did one too and even though they all acknowledge that AB was childish and immature ...they all agreed on various points 1. Most prolific receiver in this era. 2. Made big Ben looked much better than he really was. This was a dude who went 9-21 in a Superbowl with 2 interceptions. And that guranteed money also |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Tundesam923(m): 6:23pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
A40:it was not about what obj and Hopkins were making per year per se, but the guranteed money. They did give him a 19 million signing bonus( his last extension with the Steelers), but that was all. That was the guranteed upfront. The new salary is actually 18.333 million,( and you need incentives to get to that- pro bowl and all) and obj makes 18 million per year. so it really was about the guranteed money. And we both know he ain't no big Ben, so the Steelers could not do anything to that contract. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Tundesam923(m): 6:32pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
A40:true that! Diva wr don't win on the big stage, but the Steelers have been unlucky to be in the same division with a team that had bill belichick and Tom brady( Patriots) and belichick has always done what he knows best- take away your best weapon which has been AB and allow big Ben to beat them with his arms which we both know how that has ended and injuries too have played a role in this guys not winning together |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:14pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Khanben:Your article is literally corroborating what I said ab initio. We took a calculated gamble paying AB in advance after his second deal. Had he failed the Steelers would have been slandered for extending a second rounder after two seasons. People always go on and on about these things as if the league is not filled with players who flop after getting huge deals. Besides most of the cap juggling moves were made due to paucity of funds and not because they didn't want to pay Brown. He was made the highest paid receiver and the Steelers policy is well known when it comes to these contracts. Everybody is subject to it even Big Ben |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:48pm On Mar 11, 2019 |
Tundesam923:Did you know if you take out the 73 TD's Ben has thrown to Antonio Brown you're still left with 290? Big Ben made Antonio Brown not the other way round. A great receiver cannot make a bad Quarterback look good. That's why Larry Fitzgerald is suffering in Arizona Even in that Superbowl he was able to win in his second season he made some big plays in that game and in the Conference title game he made the game saving tackle after Jerome Bettis aka The Bus fumbled at the goal line. Ben is a winner and was winning long before Antonio Brown made the league |
