Is she now a mouthpiece for women?

I really don't understand all these.. Self confidence is really an issue.. She should speak for herself

Wear what you want to wear, don't let people decide for you. Cut your cloth according to your size,it's very important.

if you like dress in a naughty way and expect respect

I'll always address you the way you dress
The idea is then to by fire and force make you accept it to be normal even though it's not and God help you when you articulate a different opinion, in developed countries they will even trace you and get you fired from your place of work. Social engineering and indoctrination is name of the game.

This woman keeps leading women astray. What about strict adherence to modesty? Women have become sex objects all in the name of modernism and this is the singular reason why women are being put down on a day to day. Why do you think they get raped? Why do they get sexually harassed? Why do they use their bodies as a means to an end? Yet you wonder why women are not taken seriously in the society.

Congratulations, Chimamanda . You have spoken for the majority of women out there whose selling point is their body and not their brains.

the character of the men around is largely to blame for the rapes and "objectification" of women.

Men are becoming increasingly useless in the 21st century

Yes indeed women should dress modestly, as that is the best

They should also choose to dress modestly

It should not be an imposition

But I admonish women to dress well BY CHOICE

Not because of pressures

Chimamanda I have been searching all your pictures to see a naked or cleavage popping one, and I have not seen any. Some girls say they want to be like you, but they forgot you have a husband and intellectually you are always sound.
Dear young women, Chimamanda is only seeking for more attention as that improves sales of her books.

Wear whatever you want to wear.

But be ready to bear the consequences.

People have inalienable rights to keep their houses unlocked. Just don't bother us when burglars pay a visit.

I like this advise by Chimamanda.

Wear what you want to wear.

It is particularly good, becaause Chimamanda is a woman who dresses modestly, she refrains from wearing cleavage-baring outfits and anything with a high slit. She has often exprresed concern for excessive show of HER skin,.and once, said she risked wearing a dress with a light amount of cleavage because she found it too beautiful.

So, women who take this particular advise should know they do it at their own risk. Chimamanda is a respected woman in society and she takes it seriously. She dresses as she wants to be addressed. She is a happily married woman as well, so, if you aren't one, please, sieve out whatever advice you want to take and leave others. Also, know how to discern her advice, do not assume she is advocating for a reckless dress sense

It is not a free world. Every act has consequences... good and bad. Your freedom is another's bondage. Your strength is another's weakness. The Holy books tell us to be 'considerate' for one another. That is to seek the good of the other in everything including the way we dress.

The men too will argue for that freedom to behave the way they like. What makes the rape of the body and the rape of the mind different. Both have terrible consequences. A violent person and one that incites violence are just as guilty as one who comits rogue se.xual acts and one that incites sex through perversion. That is why everyone should be considerate for his fellow man. Both men and women should be on a leash. No one has the right to destroy the other.

Not a fan of Chimamanda when it comes to giving moral advise!

People with huge amount of fan base on social media must know others are looking up to them!

My simple advise to ladies is to DRESS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE ADDRESSED!
