Hi,
Please do you have an idea of how long it takes ryerson university to give a decision after application?

Sorry I am not in the best position to answer this. I believe an applicant heading to the school (ryerson university) would be of great help to your question.

Cc: teejay2018 please provide clarity to the above applicant. Thanks

Please can anyone tell me, if I can get a police clearance certificate from iyaganku police station in Ibadan... thank you... and pls how much is it...

You can get a police clearance certificate anywhere in Nigeria. However, the cost of obtaining the certificate in Ibadan will be relatively high (let say 15-20k) in comparison with Lagos where you can get it at an affordable rate (5K). This is due to the fact that the police headquarters at Ibadan will have to transfer your request to CID headquarters at Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos for due processing, before sending it back to them and then ready for collection by you (the requester). With that being said, it's left for you to decide whether to come to Lagos, obtain the certificate and submit your application same day since the process doesn't take longer than 20minutes.

Hello,

You cannot get it from there. Police Clearance Certificate only comes from the Police Criminal Registry Office Alagbon, in Ikoyi Lagos.

Police clearance certificate can be obtained in any part of the country. The difference is that it will be more expensive in other states than Lagos.

Please house I would like to know why my gcms notes has taken more than 60days to be released. Has anyone been in a situation like this, not that I have read of since joining this thread. I requested for an update on my processing status and was told CIC had not gotten back to them as explained to me 15days ago. This is funny to me, does anyone have a clue I would appreciate.

You did an upfront medical therefore they will update it when it's time for them to do it.

Had it been they instructed you for a medical, it would take 3-4 business days to be updated in your MyCIC account.

You have nothing to worry about.

Keep faith

Just wondering how you got to know they are on background check. In most cases when it seems nothing is happening on your online portal, a lot could have been done to your file of which you may not be aware.

I don't think the account is updated in real-time. That is why eligibility for some applicants can start today and final decision be rendered tomorrow or a few hours after that.

In any case, I think a break or something is currently going on @CIC. Or perhaps, they are just taking things in their strides. Keep hope alive. There may even be an update today or next week. It's well.

Thanks for the sharp response. I judged the process by the online portal. Hopes are still high but you what they say about speaking up with concerns.

PCC can be done in any State's CID police HQ in Nigeria by simply collating the required detailed piece of info of the client in a filled form including thumb printing, before it will be sent to Lagos police CID HQ for processing and authenticating which is quite expensive than going direct to Lagos

Someone that I know that reapplied March 1 for visiting visa was rejected yesterday and the letter came from London office so they are not on break.
Question is how does one know where his application is being processed without sending them a mail?

Hello Gurus in the House,

Good day every one.

I want to ask is Tax Clearance Certificate Important because i will be using my company as source of FUNDS. I registered the business with CAC last year October but have been running the my business since before it was registered. Should i ignore the Tax clearance certificate and just apply with my CAC certificate and my Company SOA which is barely few months not up to 6 months and i have transferred most of the funds (for my studies to my personal savings account) in my company account to my Personal Savings account to add up the funds already in my personal account. Or should i still get the tax clearance certificate, i called someone the amount he was saying to get the certificate is outrageous 150k.

Secondly as it stands which route is faster for visa application Online route or Paper route currently?

And please i need gurus that will help go through my SOP. I need reviews.

Lemme just chip in this to all MAY/JUNE/JULY 2018 Canadian study permit applicants here that are yet to get a reply form CIC. One of the reasons I havn't gotten Mad or worried about this long wait from CIC (I have applied since July 2018) is cos I have this positive opinion that My Visa will be approved, why do I say this? I have actually though to masef(This thought has been keeping me going) that If truly this people wanna refuse me, they would have refused me since. So its possible they are taking their time to knack me better TRV. My Eligibility review started exactly a month after I applied precisely August 2018 and since then CIC has kept mute on my Application, I have stopped sending them mails since December last year cos all the mails I have been sending have given me the same generic response, So i concluded that this mail don't really mean anything cos what will be will be. If you all have noticed, I havnt posted in 3 days on this thread. I have been reading posts on Part 13 and 14,trust me those parts are more interesting than this our part 15 cos there were so many approvals. While reading part 14, I came across a moniker called Abiodunne that got his TRV after 1 year and some months of his application and I said to myself, mine is just 8 months take a chill bro, urs can even be approved before that of Abiodune. As we have all noticed here, most of the June/ July applicants that got a response late from CIC actually got their Visas(I think only 2 got refused)So my advice to the May/June/July Applicants is that your TRV will be approved, they are just taking their time to give u ur Visa.
So be positive and do not get worried cos ur Visa is on its way soon.. It shall surely end in praise. Peace.

You might not get to know, not until a response to a sent mail by applicant is received but if it was when the online app goes straight to London VO(quite often for Nigerian apps) and paper to Kenya, one could easily assume. As it is, an email response is a key guide

Since you not in the possession of your biz tax clearance, no big qualms just show your CAC and other biz documents like transactional invoices, purchase receipts etc. It goes a long way to give credibility to your "source of funds."

BTW getting tax clearance isn't up to that amount depending on the capacity and worth of the bid but I don't know for sure the exact amount.

Both routes are currently fast, make a preference base on your convenience
