Williams Tanking again this season

They will still tell us later in the season that Ferrari have the fastest car to fit narratives.

Anyway. A new season is here. Hoping for Leclerc to be the kick up the backside Seb needs and hopefully a useful wingman like Bottas in the interim at least.

RIP to Charlie Whiting. Really terrible way to start the season

Yeah, for Sebastian Vettel to ask why are we so slow during the race says it all . We may be looking at sabotage here.imho

All of Mercedes crew we're worried... Red bull chief placed them first and vettel even confirmed they are fast

you mean just as there was something wrong with Ham's car?
Leclerc's car was ok and could have managed something better if they had focussed on him rather than the dead horse Vettel. from lap 30 til about lap 50, Leclerc's car was lapping faster than the Vet, and was lapping as fast as (and often faster than) ham AND Verstappen combined.

Mercedes did what was right, they focussed on making sure Bottas won since he had the faster car, regardless of what was miserably happening to Ham... if Ferrari had done the same they would have probably had a better day

NOW, unless you guys are blind, we certainly can understand how rubbish Ferrari is "as a team", when they are so focussed on that useless Vet, that they will disregard having Leclerc getting the extra point for driver of the day (if they wouldnt let Leclerc overtake the Vet then at least they should pit him and change to faster tyre for the remaining of the bloody race, and get that extra point)! it is a ONE horse race at Ferrari!

There's no way he gon pit again unless if he's ready to lose his position... He already pitted once and change to hard tires so he can run through the rest of the race

his position was FIFTH and Ferrari were not going to let him go higher than that... so he could have pitted (from lap 40 and onwards) and he would have still finished in the same position (5th)..... the driver next to him (Magnussen) was/finished 30 seconds behind him.... pit stop was about 20sec, and with fresher/faster tyres AND low fuel load, he would have certainly won fastest driver.

That was in Testing. The Mercs have been the fastest from FP1 to race day

its no secret that i believe Vettel to be a very poor driver who dont deserve his world titles, but thats another topic altogether....as for Ferrari, they are a fantastic team, one of the best out there IMHO (when they get their shiiit together and have the "right" drivers), and IMHO Leclerc could have made a small difference yesterday.

Looking like it's going to be an interesting season ahead. However, It would be even more interesting if Ferrari actually allowed Leclerc to race his own race. It's a shame really as I believe this Kid is a Future Multiple World champion in the making plus a 4 time World Champion does not need to be baby sat really.

Bottas was on fire. Even he himself could hardly believe it. Perfect drive from start to finish.

Lando Norris was impressive too (especially in the qualis) though could have done better in the race.

Ferrari felt they owed him by bungling any shot he had at a legit challenge with that pitstop strategy earlier in the race.

He had been running on that tyre since Lap 14. All context flies out the window when Vettel pops up in the discussion. Smh

I seriously don't understand the rationale behind that cause of action. It's not like Vettel desperately needed points at that moment in which case the decision they took can be explained.

Come the end of the season, I have no doubt Vettel will be ahead so why not let Him enjoy his few moments in the limelight?

Because Ferrari put Vettel at a disadvantage with their pitstop strategy for starters. We see this happen all the time na.

Vettel just couldnt handle Ham cruising pass him, and just lost it (just by himself)... even though the Ferraris had the faster car today, after Ham's 2nd pit, he was on fire and easily cruising to a 2nd place finish.

let me be a broken record and say it once again... the Vet is a good/average driver (like many others who are in midfield cars), but certainly not one of the GREATs of F1... and Leclerc is proving just that.
