Did you just say "nonsense" course lol
Not every STEM course is in demand in Germany
I agree with you that Germans are instrested in your skills first doesn't mean only STEM graduates are skillful..so whatever it is you are going to study be good at it and learn GERMAN you would definitely land a job in 18months
Well Education years I think except PhD is counted as half year so a two years master + 18months job search permit=2.5years

Are you sure of the boldened statement?
The last time I check, ur eligibility for PR starts after your education (not sure of PhD). Even if u do 3 MSc consecutively, it adds nothing.
The counting starts after studies, when you have gotten work and started paying tax.

You nailed it!!

hadassaheke:

I don't entirely agree with you sir.
1. Knowledge of the language is highly important except you're in the IT field then it won't really be a problem.
In fact, knowledge of the language should be a top priority alongside one's academics.
2. Not just STEM courses, people studying management and international business are highly sought after, heck even people studying teaching and learning are highly sought after too.
3. Getting a white lady pregnant and getting your paper subsequently looks and sound easy, but the reality is a different ball game entirely.
4. Graduating on time and getting a PR isn't as easy and straight forward as it sounds, but it is doable. It also requires hard work.
Know what you want, work towards it and the sky will be your starting point.

Like someone mentioned earlier on, whatever it is you're studying, be good at it.
And please don't apply for a course for applying sake, be sure that it is what you want and always check each curriculum inorder to be on the safe side. Studying here isn't easy as one would think.

Goodevening everyone,
I am applying to schools via uni-assit. (I wish I could see other tuition free schools that didn’t require uni-assist evaluation).
The response of my application will come in around mid-August.
Therefore, I want to know if I will be able to book a space for visa interview by then.
Which other suggestion can you give an applicant with a civil engineering background.

I will appreciate your response.
Thanks.

Lol.. why are people this bitter. You think everyone that comes here for help knew about this thread before? Why jump into conclusion? That’s disgusting and your reply was terrible I must confess. I applied to the school and did everything myself, infact I was told about a Whatsapp group only after my interview after meeting some people at the embassy, which I have been very informative. Not until when I had this issue did someone tell me there was an informative thread. Guy calm down abeg. Btw i’m A lady

Sorry I have to sound this way this morning, but I think it's expedient. If I am not mistaken this happens to be your very first comment here after getting every desirable information that got you seamlessly to this phase. Now you stuck with a problem and you have made a comment sharp sharp seeking for solutions. Why do you guys think only about yourselves, why do you want to benefit from a system without giving back, why are you so selfish bro. Is it just about you alone.

You see people looking for solutions to problems which you have already done and cleared and you care less. What sort of person are you? If others have not laid the foundation for you will you find a platform to soar. Honestly am very pissed when I see such persons just like you. You want to eat from a system without giving something in return. Now you are looking for assistance all of a sudden cos you are stuck in the wood. You suddenly remembered you can get assistance here, but you forgot you have not helped anyone here, not even those looking for schools to apply, or those confused with certifications.

If this is the kind of persons coming to deutschland, then I wonder if there will be hope for the upcoming applicants. May God help us all. Danke

Hello people

Concerning the enterance test for MSc biochemistry and molecular biology at Bremen scheduled to hold at ABU Zaria. I sent them a mail to reschedule test for a venue at Lagos due to distance. They replied me this morning that they are trying to reach goethe-institut in Lagos to arrange for the test to hold there but the Goethe people aren't responding.

So they ask me to volunteer to go to their office and do the arrangements and get back to them.

I just want to plead with anybody on here who whether they are familiar with goethe-institut Lagos or not , whether he/she is sitting for the test or not to help us spearhead this....

Please and please

Ofcus even a slowpoke knows that you need Deutsch to go far in Germany.
I mustn't include that because I assume everyone already knows that

After graduation and job isn't forth coming, your best bet would be to quickly start another master degree program or you go for a PhD afterwards.

It is also advisable you learn the language as much as you can while studying, because it is really important. It's importance cannot be over emphasized.

Haba. Start another master program?
PhD will be preferable.
You don't keep on rotating in one angle. You enter the next level.

Moreover, I am learning Deutsch with Duolingo and its really amazing.
Once I come here, I will channel over 60 percent of my energy to learning Deutsch and before I finish my MSc, I will be very fluent in it.
Another aspect is to work really hard academically and be among the best graduates with very high GP.
So that your GP coupled with your fluency in Deutsch will make you move mountain and even attract white Germans towards you for impregnation

Been running my head for a while now on how i will poay my Uniassist fee. Someone just informed me that a normal debit card owuld do it. I tried mine and it worked. My bank Standard chattered charged me 1 Euro = N420. Which is all good.
So, feel free to try your cards, usually master card or Visa cards.
Cheers.
