Don't ever let anybody discourage you! Pharmacy is a great course with numerous opportunities. All you have to do is to find an area of pharmacy that interests you and carve a niche for yourself.
This is a career you can easily start something on your own with a little cash and grow within a few years.

Like I said in a previous post, some people have all they need to make it big but would rather confuse themselves and end up being neither here nor there. That is the situation with some pharmacists in Nigeria.

Remain focused and dedicated my dear! You'll make it in pharmacy, trust me! I know why I'm confident about this profession.

So many aspects of pharmacy are still unexplored in Nigeria.

Nigeria still imports about 80% of finished pharmaceutical products and more than 90% of raw materials, yet some people are still confusing themselves.

Many elites still seek where they can get quality pharmaceutical care different from what they get in patent medicine stores.

Many diseases still ravage the world with no drugs to treat them.

Even good medical doctors in hospitals still seek pharmacists with good knowledge of drugs to render quality pharmaceutical services that can help patients get on their feet fast and happy.

The list goes on, but some people would rather allow others confuse them.

Don't you know we all have different destinies in life? Because someone says pharmacy isn't for him after graduating, you are feeling somehow. Do you know the worth of where he switched to? (ICT). Everyone has a dream,passion and a purpose to fulfill it. I've seen medical doctors dive into another niche altogether that will surprise you. So its no biggie and normal. Not everyone on every induction day will practice the profession! Sink that into your grey matter and run your own race. Pharmacy or medicine might not always equate success.

I'm still making enquiries, haven't gotten any answers yet. I checked out the UNIBEN Special conversion program on their website, it said something about having a Masters degree as a qualification for the program. I might be wrong though, just need someone from the inside to enlighten me on the issue.

No, they don't specify. Pharmacy is unclassified in most places. It is only the statement of the result that will carry that.

Pharmacy students want to succeed in school. They are finding it hard to find their footing. They observe this is not the case with friends from other departments. They begin to wonder what is the way forward. At the end, not all that got admission got through. Many that got through had a hard time.
The problems many pharmacy students face in school is not new. It has been there before us and it is still there. There is no sign it is stopping anytime soon. Majority of these problems can be avoided or better still handled successfully without much stress. Advise from pharmacist have proven timely in many scenarios. This is because they have been there before. Unfortunately, many of these pharmacist do not have all the time in the world to put down these problems and their solutions in writing. This makes it difficult for pharmacy students already in school.
It is only pharmacy students who seek advice but don't get it. Not at all. Many aspirants are also out there seeking to know how to gain admission easily. Others simply wants to know the nature of the programme. They are willing and ready to pay for these information.
It is not proper to get to school and discover things yourself. Experience is the best teacher they say but learn from others experience when pharmacy school is involve. This is because you may not like the tales of your own experience.
