Honestly, from the stats one could simply imply that those States with higher prevalences showed how honest and determined they are to accept treatments. You see these people from the north, they are hypocrites, they will prefer to die silently and secretly. Worse still, the authorities will hide actual figures just to look morally perfect. If you ever lived in the core north, you may know what I am talking about.

It is not magic! Countries with heavy concentration of muslims tend to have lower HIV transmission because we do not have rampant transactional sex, and women are married off early so they tend to fulfill sexual desires within the confines of marriage as opposed to having boyfriends all over the place. Furthermore, the polygamous setting allows men to have their fill of various women as wives and not as side chicks and concubines. Furthermore, Islam strictly prohibits homosexuality.

So there is no magic there.

Majority of those living in Lagos are not deluded that HiV is a myth.
A lot of HIV treatment and prevention agencies are very active there. The health seeking behaviour is also probably different in Lagos compared to other places, and access to health care is different. Take it or leave it, general hospitals function better in Lagos than most other places, and they also have more general hospitals compared to most places. They also have 2 teaching hospitals/tertiary centers. NGOs work with these hospitals in preventing HIV.
In places abroad where prostitution is legal, or even porn stars, their prostitutes are healthier as per STIs becasue they do regular check ups and diseases are picked up on time thereby starting them on treatment early and preventing them from spreading such diseases.

"...Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29

".. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me". John 14:6

"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24

Doesn't those 2 last statements scare you?

No one has anything to do with God except through the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible

No pastor or imam or priest is in touch with the God of the universe except he is a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.

You must choose who you will believe: the God of the Bible or all those other men pretending they represent Him.

Hepatitis is preventable with vaccines, and children who go for immunization get their vaccines which offers protection for life.
In as much as it's highly infectious perhaps more than HIV, many won't catch it because they are immunized against it.

How Nigeria’s 36 states fare in HIV prevalence

Two South-south states are among the three states with the highest HIV prevalence rate in Nigeria.

Akwa Ibom tops the prevalence rate chart with about 5.5 per cent of its residents living with the virus. It is followed by Benue which has a prevalence rate of 5.3 per cent while Rivers is third with a prevalence rate of 3.8 per cent.

The details were contained in the Nigerian HIV/AIDs Indicator and Impact Survey (NAIIS) whose result was released last week in Abuja.

The result shows that about one per cent of Nigerians (1.9 million people) are currently living with HIV/AIDs.

This figure, according to the Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, moves Nigeria from second to the fourth position among countries battling the HIV epidemic.

With an earlier estimate of about 3.2 million people living with HIV, Nigeria was second after South Africa which ranks first with about 7.1 million people living with HIV.

Announcing the NAIIS result in Abuja on Thursday, the Director General of the National Agency for the Control of AIDs (NACA), Sani Aliyu, said the percentage of People Living with HIV among adults is 1.4 per cent (1.9 per cent among females and 0.9 per cent among males.)

The National AIDS survey was launched in June 2018 to determine the true distribution of HIV and AIDS, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C in the country.

The survey reached around 220,000 people in about 100,000 households and was conducted between July and December 2018.

According to the survey, the South-south zone of the country has the highest HIV prevalence, at 3.1 per cent among adults.

HIV prevalence is also high in the North-central zone with 2.1 per cent and in the South-east zone, 1.9 per cent.

The three regions with lower prevalence rate are the South-west – 1.2 per cent, North-east – 1.1 per cent, and the North-west zone – 0.6 per cent.

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks cells in the immune system, which serves as the body’s natural defence against illnesses.

Though the popular way of contracting this virus is through vaginal or anal sex, there are other ways. These include sharing of needles or syringes, piercings, tattoos, blood transfusions, semen (cum), or vaginal fluids into open cuts or sores on the body. HIV currently has no cure but can be prevented and managed with proper medication.

Below is the full list of states and their HIV prevalence rate.

The reason is not far fetched. It is true that city of Lagos is an immoral city, but full of educated people. Most people in Lagos are are aware of the consequence of unprotected sex, and as such they take caution.

Another thing is there is high rate of sensitization about HIV/AIDs scourge in the city. So, the use of condom is prevalent. For this reason it turns out that the rate of HIV epidemic is low relative to some other states despite their debauchery lifestyle

HIV is just like any chronic disease like hypertension, diabetes. Those ones even kill faster.
Provided you use your medications, you and your children are safe. You will have sex normally, and even bear children who are negative.
Poverty on the other hand kills faster. It's nothing to be proud of. A little education goes a long way.

How did you arrive at this assertion?
Supposing there is EXTREMELY HIGH IMMORAL STANDRDS (but a lot of safe sex is practiced), as against a location where the standads are high, but safe sex is not practiced?

This is why studies like this are carried out, and we shouldnt rely on assumptions
