I still don't see any reason for Mikel's inclusion into the final squad. It may sound crazy but I think he has paid his dues and its now time for others to step up to responsibility. Over-reliance on Mikel will cost us big time

Can you please explain how the inclusion of Mikel Obi will cost us big time?

As tall as Onuachu is, yet, dude is more athletic than most our players with lower centres of gravity. He was so mobile that most times I wondered if he was a DMF or a striker. Mehn, dude was everywhere.

Who else feared when he was doing that traditional Nigerian goal celebration, the ever delicious back flip abi summersaults?

Goodjoe, did u see any similarity between Marega and Onuachu yesterday?

Rohr's greatest skills is not his tactics but his man management

I saw Balogun putting in flying tackles yesterday and I wondered when last Super Eagles played with such passion and commitment

That's when I see people advocating for Rohr's sack I just hiss and pass

I was on Traffic listening to Lagos talks 91.3 sports program around 8am and the sports analyst said that Balogun was match rusty shocked. The Balogun I saw yesterday was so good.

They're also not fans of Rohr for dropping Lokosa and picking Simi for the World cup. Infact they're angry that Rohr doesn't have faith in our home based players.

Well I hope he continues dt way and he doesn't relent cos once he's assured of a place in d first team, complacency sets in smiley

Lokosa, that is struggling for game time in Tunisia. This is why i always say we should let players prove themselves elsewhere first.

Onuachu's work rate is definitely impressive but later part of the game he got very tired and found chasing the ball difficult. Although he could be excused with the amount of running he put in.

I think his ability to drop so deep puts him ahead of most of our strikers. Another thing very fantastic about Onuachu is his on-the-ball skill level. I would not be exaggerating if I said the best I have seen of any Super Eagles striker since Kanu Nwankwo.

However, not convinced with his on the ball mobility. Seems he gets beaten by pace when he has the ball. But, I see him thriving in a highly possessive side with two supporting forwards with loads of pace.

Onuachu feels like an offensive version of Mikel and needs a possessive side that spends a lot of time building up plays with him dropping deep to play his part. When the defence is broken, he does the finishing damage.

The amount of fouls Onuachu got and did to break up the opposition to win the ball was another shocking but impressive side of his game. He made a nice fit with Ndidi and Ogu when he was part of the set up.

Rohr and his tactical crew need to come up with a system to get the best from him because Onuachu despite his brilliance with the ball is a tactical goldmine for a highly tactical coach.

Man management ALONE can keep u going, but can’t win u trophies? Rohr is an ok coach. You cannot be a great coach if u are only good in man management. Tactically, he is average at best.

Keshi was not a great tactician but he could motivate his players to achieve things. We were not supposed to win AFCON 2013.

Can you name a foreign coach that is so interested in developing another country's players that he travels for his players and helps them with their contracts

Seriously, I think Rohr has grown to LOVE the SE. The SE is more than just a job to him, it has become a personal project of his. Do you know that after the WC, many other African countries including Egypt with it's array of stars offered Rohr a more lucrative contract than the one he presently has with us. He turned them all down for our sake. All our insults to him notwithstanding.

Rohr personally takes the pains to give our players advice on career choices, get involved in thier personal life issues (as in the case of Kalu's mom's kidnap), and even uses his vast connections to help them secure deals. This is not part of his job description. But he does it because he wants to. Because he genuinely loves the GWG.

Rohr's tactical prowess may be suspect, but as far as team loyalty, man management and dedication to duty goes, you will hardly find a better coach in the whole wide world.

even though I don't like some things about the German. .. the man is the best for the Super Eagles at this time.... where we have young nigeria players springing up everywhere...
he is the only man amongst our many coaches...that' can give players equal opportunities to play...
he is a good man someone like amunike will turn the Super Eagles to egunge era of Keshi where players will have to grease palm prior their call up and we will end up loosing lot of foreign born players.
He should stay in Tanzania please...though he is better and more tactical compare to rohr but in terms of management and fairness....rohr is the best.

No proper evidence to back up your claims while a member of Rohr’s crew was caught on camera receiving bribe to field players.

You do not know how good Amunike is but from the reactions of the Tanzania players and the way his former players like Osimhen who credit their growth to Amunike, Amunike is definitely a great man manager.

Either way, you can give Rohr his props without running down another.

You see....I agree with all you said except that part of winning by at least 2 goals every match. AFCON games will be very defensive. And knowing Rohr, he will be contented to take a 1:0 win even of it means UA defensing for the greater part of each game
you see a midfield with Mikel,Ndidi/Ajayi and Iwobi with fast wingers like musa and Henry/Simon/Chukwueze/Kalu will always take teams on fast counter attack even when they're protecting a lead...

if you watch the Cameroon match in Uyo you will know what I am talking about...

I think Onyekuru deserves a special shout out for his impact in the last game of the Super Eagles. He showed so much passion to make the most out of the game. His electric skills is one to watch out for to make an impact in the AFCON.

I hope Chukwueze gets up to speed with his development because his pairing with Onyekuru can make our side attacks deadly.

I am not running down anyone....
I vividly remember the tangle he had with the academy that birth nacho.... with the management of nwakali player rights. ...

I remember how the academy boss claimed amunike forced the latter player to sign for his(amunike) academy with the threat to be left out of the squad...

let me tell you he can't try that poo in Tanzania they're already short of talents so...trying that will amount to failure.... but trust them to mess up when coaching the Eagles. ..because even the players coming to bribe them are somehow still okay and as such won't raise eyebrows...

Does Fiyako Tomori play right back?

He played last season at Hull as a RB and also at Brighton too. But l was not overly impressed infact I thought he was just about average.

However, this season he is arguably the best CB in the Championship. He will have clubs queuing up for him in the EPL next season.

I have NEVER EVER seen a forward thinking and progressive football team that is not continously looking to improve by inviting players who are consistently continously putting in top class performances in thier league and club. Particularly if they are in a top club and league.

Every player has bad games. Even Messi and CR7. Anyone running down players because of bad games do not understand the dynamics of football. It is not straight but filled with ups and downs.

The same Osimhen castigated and called a flop is generating waves.
