The judgement was issued against customs account DOMILCLIED WITH GTB[not with any other bank],Gtb inteferred with the money claiming forgery of papers by INNOSON in order to gain time and use the money for business...now it has hooked them on the neck because the money has gone to TSA with cbn....well...they can pay off the man...or give him some shares equivalent to the money...caput

GTB SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN THE MONEY FROM THE BEGINNING...THEY SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED THE CUSTOMS TO DEAL WITH INNOSON

Since they used the money for business and they made profit of over 257B or so, let them pay na...... but I know they wouldn't allow their properties be taken over just like that.
We are observing anyway.

Like you have been advised. Please hold on. You can buy more to average down when the price drops.

Good day great men of this forum
Been following your contributions and most times when I actually have fund I enter some stocks at the wrong timing. But hopefully I will get there.

pls I need your advise on Fidelity bank shares. I bought my first three tranches at an average of N3.67 2017
I bought more last week at N2.18 hoping with their Q4 result I should be able to bail out even without profit.
But yesterday the price dropped further down with the current news.

Should I sell off all my holdings on monday? Though will be losing almost N400k. This is quite painful but...but my worry is the price will go further downwards and I may lose more in value of my holdings. Thank you

As for me I don't have a single of Fidelity bank share for now. They have good result anyway, what they are suffering for now is punishment for their poor dividend payment, and no one knows at which low price their punishment will stop, maybe at #1.7/ #1.8.

With their recent behavior, am doubting their EPS . But they will still move up above their current price of #2.06, even if they fall to #1.8.

If am the one, I will reduce my holding and use the proceed to look for better stock like Caverton ( if seen at all below #3 in the new week) and Zenith bank.
Better still, you can still sell at any price above the current price, their MM might push the price above #2.20 on Monday, you can use the opportunity to sell, and buy FCMB at #1.5/1.6, For now FCMB is more preferable than Fidelity.

Caution: due diligence needed too

What if caverton did not respond to the result as expected cos we can see the pattern these days. After like 2-3 days its IGG will end. tongue
There's nothing wrong with Fidelity, the only sin committed was the dividend error they made, market is just down generally.

Good dont sell at all just leave it since you don need the money in a hurry. Please find an investment strategy and stick with that and am sure if you do, your losses will always be minimal. Just leave those stocks there till when the market favors them. To me nothing fantastic will happen again in the mkt this year and as such, am bailing out gradually with last stock UBA to bail out on Monday after which i go to Tbill to make some money then come back to the market later in the yr and buy just 3 stocks maximum with zenith making 85% of my portfolio. Please dont buy stock cos others are buying it stick to your own strategy and you will at least 90% be a successful investors. I was formerly a long timer but now i have changed my strategy to enter at the best price, qualify for dividend or may not wait for the dividend depending on the price and exit then re-enter at a good price again, this i started in 2017 and has really worked much for me cos i ended up buying more of those stocks anytime i want to come back for them.

Good you have a strategy and are sticking to it. Do you really think this is the right time to leave the market??

It is to start watching Caverton closely but I believe buying in August when there may likely be a general dip would be the best, that's if the price doesn't get beyond my range.

Pls note this is just my strategy! Stocks in most cases are not usually upwards sustained on NSE after the stocks are marked down for dividend this I hàve witnessed severally and with the current happenings in on politically I don't really see much upwards. In 2018 after marking down of some stocks like zenith, ucap, gtb and dang flour those stocks never went back to the price I sold them I sold zenith at 27.3 after marking down then and I bought @ 20.8 later. NSE is a cycle. What sustains our MKT is FPI and earnings and for now those guys are not interested in our mtk. The market will be galloping till yr end in my own opinion I may be wrong though. Am coming back by Oct/Nov at least from now till that time tb will give me more monies to buy more of zenith. Follow your investment patterns

Dangoteflour EPS, 22.87 kobo for 2018, against 291.30 kobo for 2017, massive loss, very very very poor result, that was why they hurriedly fly their price to #11, from #5..80, to avoid visiting 50 kobo, this time around, #3 junction is waiting to welcome them. The more you look the less you see.

Emerging, 25 kobo dividend paid by the stock of #2.49 kobo , is more than the earning of the stock of #11. The world is turning around, every thing is turn by turn, last two year 2017 final was the turn of Dangoteflour, while this year for Caverton.

I don't think they will ever get punished.
They keep getting away with it. It is sad that the shareholders of Access Bank do not even know what they are acquiring in Diamond. They have been told Diamond has fantastic retail base and the echannels is the best in the industry.
But what do small boys like us know. We have never managed a business and we shouldn't fault the cowboys who are doing great.
It will be nice to hook up someday and rub minds.

Yes boss. Will holla @ you. grin

As for getting away all the time, I believe everything has a limit, time will tell.

Customs no longer have an account with GTB...because of TSA

GTB should not have gotten interested in this case but it should have just held the money IN LIEN...Then use it to pay off INNOSON...but wanted to do business with it...but tsa came fast and swept the money...now they have to pay since Customs no longer have account with GTB...THERE IS NO ACCOUNT AND MONEY TO CEASE

This case en... lol!
