They are different... Not substitute.. Bonus is to make leaves greener, di grow red brings out more flower, di grow green makes the leaves broader... Npk makes the roots stronger larger and the fruit bigger

You cannot substitute granular fertilizer for foliar spray. Foliar supplies micro while granule supplies macro nutrients which is primary for plant vigor.

My cukes r already producing tendrils,, although I'm still having problem with getting bamboos for staking.

I'm thinking of buying normal sticks from sawmill n using those. Please, how can I retrain them to climb after staking, considering they might be crawling by then

I am having problems uploading the pics ,we will plant tomorrow and hopefully we will have some pics,we are on a budget of 40.000 naira to manage 1500 crops for 45 days.we have spent so far #8000 seed,#1000 manure nearby poultry farm,#3500 bag of rope for staking,2 Haifa npk#3800,2 saaf fungicide#2000,10 satchets ridomilgold#3800 and 3 imiforce #3000.this is the material to see the project through.note we will not use inorganic fertilizer because anytime we use it losses of 5-10 percent occurs,a nearby poultry farm flushes it wastes away so we go organic with weekly sprays of Haifa bonus foilar fertilizer for micro nutrients the remains balance will be reserved for fuel for pumping water,but so far eedc is giving us light.can we work with this budget even to me it looks impossible but my late father use to tell me nothing venture nothing hard!

to tell you the truth I am skeptical about the figures the seed company could throw out, sometimes it is not what they say sometimes it's more than what they say,I believe weather,soil and management has a lot to do with the final yield,EG techinisem said that Heracles F1 WM will mature in 80 days,but a friend harvested in 68 days,but all I know is that they will not throw out such figures without careful observation and verification,so be assured that a well managed bean crop with weather cooperating can match or even beat their own figures.

just put them carefully around the rope,they will reclimb it, even if the tender tip may break off if u are not careful it will regrow more side shoots.

The pics of the melons above proves that when everything comes together and work,a farmer will surpass the yield estimates of the seed company,in technisem official catalog the maximum size they say a koloss ball can get is 15kg,but my friend fmcash has surpassed that by 3kg,I will not be surprised if someone will harvest a ball of 20kg,that koloss ball in our area is ₦500 wholesale farmgate,

Do the melons need special care during formation to prevent the part on the soil from getting spoilt. I've observed some melons have some parts especially those in contact with the soil get rotten easily.
