So having a Cgpa lower than 2.50 german grade doesn’t really affect if you have good job experience in that field?

Depends on the school gp requirements

Fintiba block account opening is free, you do not pay any fee at the time of opening it.....All fees which includes the block money, initial fee e.t.c are included in the 8829euro and is paid at the time of funding.

Do you include bank charges?
Like how much do Nigeria banks usually charge to fund my block account from my firstbank account or diamond account .

Hi...

I am guessing HAW Hamburg requires you to send hard copies of your credentials to them.

I thought Uni-assist should so that from there?

Good morning folks. Please can someone help me with DHL office address in Lagos where I can get prepaid currier envelope. The office in my current location said they are not eligible to issue prepaid currier envelope. Please I need help with already known address in Lagos.

Call this number +234-803-907-7000(DHL customer service), tell them your current location and ask them for the closest office to you. I got a very close location after doing this, I just walked down there.

quote author=delivite post=76069024]For those waiting for testimony, your own will surely come. Mine is already here.

I started my research in part 5, applied for admission in part 5, funded my BA and got my AM all in part 5 of this thread. In a few days from now, I will be leaving for Germany.

The journey has not been easy. I remember when I was racking my head looking for schools that would offer me admission because my CGPA is really low(2.46 Nigerian scale, 2.9 German scale). I asked lots of questions and did lots of research. Someone even asked me to pay #250k to get me admission instead of telling me the schools to apply to. Thank God for guys like ObinnaAlex and others who selflessly directed me.

When I hear people who got 3.5+ CGPA come on here to ask questions like whether you can get admission, I just laugh. If I had that GPA eh...chaii...Do your due diligence, do your research.

Most people never believed I would get admission for MSc program in Germany. Even I did not believe it, but like play like play, I got 2 admission offers. One in Anhalt University and one in Berlin.

If you are applying for winter admission session, it’s very important that you do your research. Many people don't read. Nobody will hold your hand if you are not willing to put in the effort; everybody is busy with their own life and process. I said I started my journey in part 5 of this thread but I started reading everything from part 3. Yes, I read part 3, part 4 and was finally up to date in part 5.

It does not make much sense to repeat mistakes that other people have made and documented all because you can’t be bothered to read. Yes, it’s important to ask questions, but read first. There is time. Read and read and read.

Get all your documents ready from day 1. Many people don't worry about letter of English proficiency until it's getting late. if you can afford IELTS, write it. If you can't, go to your school and get the letter before you start your application. Make sure your passport is ready, etc.

That is the much I can say for now. I hope I get to contribute more often in this thread so I can help others too; I was not very active in part 5. I admire the amazing job that people like Eldee, heybaby12, dailydollar, etc are doing here to raise others.

For those of you in DE, I hope to see you soon.

Let us all succeed.

Please if you have any questions for me, ask them here. I don't always get to my PM on time.
Thanks for this delivite, and congratulations to you!
Please house, hope it's not too late to start seeking for MSc admission, winter semester? I greet you all!

Thanks for sharing, I'm really happy for you. I'm also in the same situation with schools.

Please, i need a school i can apply to in Germany for Master of Arts in International Business.

All my credentials are ready. including a notary document for all my certificate.

I already suggested what you need to do. You don't have so many options for bsc English taught courses, so it's better you look out for something related or you switch gear to other disciplines. With your bsc and waec you can apply for courses you have got interest in. So get back to work asap
Thanks mate.

Good observation. The shift in time from 12 midnight to 11pm is because Germany is now 1 hour ahead of Nigeria. The scheduling server uses German time.

Nice advice on the use of Chrome autofill.

Been a minute here smiley

All the best.

They have my documents already so I just made payment. They received my payment on the 2nd of this month and I got my VPD yesterday. For a bachelor's program tho. The print out form you sent is not necessary, they no longer require you to sign and send the form. The online submission is sufficient.

Goodmorning house. Please while sending hardcopy documents to UniAssist, does it mean I can only send documents for one particular school? Like how can I for example separate the "motivation letters" for 2 different schools while sending through UniAssist?

Good day fellow NL, I got rejection letter from two schools during summer reasons being that I couldn’t transfer/calculate 70ECTS in Economics and business administration modules. I just got another rejection letter this winter with same ECTS issues, not being transferred/calculated in Economics and quantitative method courses. Please gurus in the house who has a better understanding of transferring/calculating ECTS or how you did yours and got admitted should please help me out,as this is an impediment to my application. Your response will be much appreciated.thanks!

My research with google isn’t clear enough...

Wow.. I’m sorry to hear this! How exactly did you calculate it or you did not at all ??

Two rejections, not cool!! Sorry man!!

Just send only your CERTIFIED COPIES OF YOUR CERTIFICATES(hard copies) to Uni-assist and upload motivation letters addressed to respective schools via Uni-assist online portal.
I hope you got it better now.

Thanks bro, seems like my sponsor is beginning to think germany is not my calling...
well I used some calculations I found through previous threads, part 2&3. Where 1ECT= 30hours of lecture and 1 semester =30ECTS in Nigeria.
Therefore ECTS are gotten by multiplying total credit units/hours accumulated by 1.5
E.g: physics with credit unit of 3, it ECTS would be 3x1.5=4.5ECTS.
E.g: Bachelors thesis with credit unit of 6, it ECTs would be 6x1.5=9ECTS

Now how do I calculate 60ECTs on Economics and business administration courses, 10ECTs in mathematics, 10ECTs in statistics?
I have BSc in finance and I’m applying for MSc in Economics and management courses. Thanks

you need only one certified document for all application even if its 10 .
Also after filling the online application and uploading you will be asked to print the application form you just dilled online and since you will print for all the school just use staples and attache additional document requested by each school like motivation letter simple .
