I agree, it's a case of being caught in the corner with any direction full of bloodbath.

One thing is certain, our economy is currently dependent on the price of crude oil and that is very dangerous to all of us.
Exactly. We are virtually running a monoproduct economy. And the most interesting Irony of that is that in the international market we don't have the leverage to dictate the price of that product on which we so depend like oxygen.... meaning that we don't have comparative advantage on it in a sense. So whenever there is a hiccup in its prices our soft underbelly shows as our economy begins to bleed.
Until we fundamentally address the deficiencies which put pressure on the Naira (e.g. Exodus to foreign universities, importation of what we can actually produce, exportation of what we have very limited quantities of their raw materials, etc) the vicious cycle of devaluation will continue amidst the delusion that a floating of the Naira will perform the much needed magic.

Which companies are they working for ? So I’ll avoid the companies like plague or hustle for my dividend on nse..

after UPL tie my money down for close to a year na so their registrar dey tell me to come to their office whenever am in the country. I dash them the dividend still sell the stock at loss..

I will like to know if there's a special way of dealing with this legal fraudster called REGISTRARS? the same GTL-Registrars I complained about manages UPL.
If all registrars can be committed like Africa prudential and meristem I believe most investor will not have issues

Some registrars are very stubborn. Even when you explain to them, they will insist you do what they(Registrars) will insist on their own instruction.

I experienced the issue with Atlas registrars (FLourmills) Eric moore .

One of the reason I will never forgive APEL registrars cos I tried to dematerialized my IB PLC with the hope of not selling below 55 but my effort was frustrated

Cardinal stone registrar gets wahala too much.
After my bank uploaded my e- dividend form, they were still asking for bankers confirmation or transferred form. And to make matter worse, they will not accept a scanned copy of those documents.
I think they are just trying to frustrate people in processing their dividend so they can continue to sit on the money.
If someone is not determined, they'll end up sitting on the money cos they'll frustrate so much that one will just have no choice than to dash dem the money.
I don't understand why they don't accept scanned copy.
In Africa Prudential, the form was downloaded, filled, scanned and sent to them. They are to confirm from bank from their end.
They however requested for a transfer form also which Morgan sent. I printed, signed the transferee section, scanned and sent back for them to complete and get back to the registrar. All done thru mail.
Think it's easier for those closer to just visit their office.

I think an article should be written on" How registrars are frustrating the E dividend process " for personal gains, making recommendations on how the process can be re-routed. This could be sent to sec, media houses/other stakeholders. Cos with BVN, I don't see any reason why this e dividend thing should be a problem
