Oga stop twisting facts and address the topic on ground. Are the above mentioned names vying for the presidency under the 1999 constitution? Or Was the 1999 const. used for 1959 election or 1979? Atiku might hv been a VP ...the law is silent about the requirement of that, but however deal with the what the 1999 constitution says....

Here is the big question. If Atiku is been pushed around because he was "allegedly" born in a place that was Cameroon at the time but now Nigeria.

Does it mean that our parents that were born in Nigeria before 1960 when Nigeria is under British colony are British Citizens

1. Atiku is a Citizen of Nigeria.

2. Nobody is contesting his Citizenship and that of his Jada People of Adamawa.

3. What are the ways one can become a citizen of Nigeria?
a) BY BIRTH
B) BY REGISTRATION
C) BY REFERENDUM
D) BY NATURALIZATION


4) Out of above methods, it is only a person who becomes a CITIZEN By BIRTH Is Qualified To Contest for the Office Of The President.

5. Can Atiku and His Jada Cameroon vote and be voted for? Yes because they are Citizens of Nigeria by Referendum.

6) Can they ( Atiku and Jada Brothers) contest and be voted for up to the post of the Vice Presidency? YES because the Constitution paved way for them?

7. The question is: Did Atiku fulfill the Constitutional requirements to contest for the post of the president?

8 . The Answer is what the APC wants the Appeal court to determine, because one of the requirements is that you MUST A Citizen By BIRTH To Qualify.

9. That you are citizen of Nigeria by other means such as Referendum, Naturalization, Registration etc can only take you the office of the Vice President and not that of the President according to the 1999 Constitution we operate.

What is hard here to understand?


Show me in our 1999 constitution (as amended) where one can become a citizen of Nigeria via referendum?

Was Atiku Born in Nigeria?

In America, You can't be the President unless you are born in the United States Of America. That is Citizenship by birth and not Visa Lottery or Scam Marriages

In Nigeria, you cant be the president unless you are born in Nigeria. That is Citizenship by Birth and Not Referendum.
