The case of chams is like seeing an attractive lady with heavy back side but is hiv +ve... grin

We can categorize guys that will react to the heavy load in three ways;

1. Daredevil Guys who will be carried away by the 'soakaway pit" and won't mind doing everything possible just to have a slice of the pie unprotected...(their mantra is "na once man dey die"... grin)

2. Calculative guys who want the pie but ready to use protection.... grin

3. Smart guys who will run for cover because they value their lives... grin

One methods leaves you satisfied that you know what you are doing and won't be scared as market falls.

While the other means that you will be fidgety as anyone checks on you.

This is FA Vs SA. grin
Which fundamentals did Diamond Bank, FCMB, TRANSCORP, STERLING, and even JAIZ BANK, and some others have as at January last year when they all rallied crazily with some of us inside their buses and smiling happily including your very self?

FA and TA war in this forum is like stock price movement.
It never ends, keeps going on upandan.
It will last on here as long as the stock market lives.
So lets keep refreshing ourselves with the back and forth.
Mind your portfolio while the debate rages on though. grin grin grin grin

I was told that the process will take another 2-3weeks between them/cscs and the registrar... Ehn, no wahala i go wait...las las i go collect my money..... grin

You are just a rabble rouser dishing out unfounded accusations to save face. When have I ever advised anyone here on stock pick to warrant the accusation that when my recommendation goes bad I don't show face again? Can you reference just one post in which I ever did stock recommendation? Why not simply accept that your opinion failed on CHAMS?

That's one lesson I have learnt about stock.

Remember how some talk negativity about Diamond, until we saw the goodies from Access.

The markets will always present opportunities for profits, but too much analysis create fear.

Just look at Unity bank,

Analysis paralysis it is. The Diamond experience taught me a lesson.

I am yet to forgive myself for missing out of it. I bought, first of all at 68k, sold it at same 68k three days after. Secondly, I bought again at 67k and sold at 69k two days after, just for the stock to pick race a week after. That is the joy of the NSE, opportunities always abounds. My prayer is to be able to sight and make use of such opportunities when it comes again.

With hindsight, you saw opportunities in Diamond. İf Access had not come, what would be of Diamond? Let Diamond release their 2018 YE results and let's all see what people had bought before the Messiah came to save it.

Like Warren Buffett would say: The rearview mirror is always clearer than the windshield.

Rearview mirror=hindsight.

Opportunities is part the reasons we are here.

If a businessman is selling Mangos, and suddenly see opportunity to make money in Bananas he will jump at it.

Some people still lose money in ZENITH, GTB and JB with good result.

Mine was more pathetic. I entered massively at 66k and was prepared to bear the outcome if CBN hammer fell as being threatened in the frenzied speculations that moment. What I put in wouldn't have been enough to send me back to the village had the story turned sour. I even so posted here. But surprisingly I fell for the intense paralysis bound analysis even though I had gleaned from experience that CBN hammer falls not when everywhere is awash with the news of the atrophying state of a bank but just one day when all is calm and hopes even seem to be showing up in the horizon. After the goodies which later came to it from Access, I ended up praying to God to, in future, block my ears the way He blocked Yayira's. Hehehehe.....

I always make sure to monitor the volume and follow the MMs, for thing like these.

Some MMs might just wake-up DUNLOP one day, and you will swimming in 60% profits.

What I particularly look out for is if the stock doing MMM things, as they say, is such that I can get out of it even if it ends up a Greek gift. As long as my SA tells me that in the end there will be enough volume bids to enable me get out when it comes back to bus stop, I just go in without looking back.
That was what guided my massive entry into CI LEASING at 0.5 in April 2017 and it paid off in the end.

I have bought before chibuking81 draw the attention of members to chams. I did not advice anyone here to buy because I know it will be dead on arrival, because 90% of analyst here will strongly condemn the idea of buying such stock. If you had followed some of my post, I always advocate for diverse ideas from all members. However, I so much appreciate the views of all our in-house analyst that always draw constructive criticisms whenever any stock comes to limelight.

Lets not castigate members for giving stock picks especially when they go the other way...... I bought when Chibu drew attention to the stock at 20k and sold at 26 and 28k.......I don clean mouth waiting for new rabbits...... UBA that i Loaded same period keeps going down even below Union Bank.......

Its all risk..... If we keep mute how will we identify stocks like costain that went from 99k to about #80 in one year

Walai talai, that Costain Story is still the most astonishing of all times. It was even from 68k it started the journey.

I personally bought Fidelity at N 1.10 end 2017 and sold same at above N 3.80 last year.
Still in the boat after all said and done.

People bought NB at N 5 during IPO, but today NB at N 59 gives them shivers that it is too low.
Never mind all the dividend and bonus they received.

Those who saw value in Zenith at N 7 and rode it to N 70+ during the good old days (pre 2008) definitely can testify.
Even if they didn't sell, at today's price of N 21 that's 300% capital appreciation.
Again before dividends and bonuses are mentioned.

I am presently testifying with Caverton, starting buying at N 1.20.
Add small units at any price point below N 2.30, so some of my units are 100%+ already.

Those who bought Fidson will testify when the full impact of their manufacturing contract with GSK is felt.
Plus their own organic growth.
Remember GSK on it's own is above N 8/share presently.

And Fidson is about to take on approx 70% of their production.
Agreed it will not be a fully direct transfer, but ceteris paribus I see Fidson at least at N 10/ share by conclusion of the process.

As Oga Currentprice stated before, DF shortly after mutating from Tiger.

Still looking for more?

I know the entire system of poor corporate governance, corruption, nepotism and magical trading affects NSE badly.

But trust me, if you are willing to do the all nighters after work punching calculator and poring through quarterly and annual accounts*, there is value to be had.

**I HATE reading the notes to accounts, but that is where the real value is found my brother.
It's where the bodies are buried wink
