I bought 2 new iPhones last month, two phones needed new Nano sim. Got 2 sims, One is glo, the other is Airtell .
Went to Airtell office, was asked if the sim is mine and if I was the one that register it , answered yes, code sent to my phone within 8 minutes I was done. Dude said later today your old sim will stop working, pop in new sim all done.
Next headed to glo, first there was a long queue, got to my turn then was told I got to have my valid ID ! Went back home, then got to my turn I got to have old sim pack! Back home then told it cost 1000 recharge card and 100 naira new sim ! Then there is a long paper to filled with jamb questions. What date did you last recharge,how much was it, what airtime plans are you on, write down 3 last websites you visited..... endless stupid questions for wanting a micro / nano sim. Then he cut the new sim, kept my old sim then said your line will be working in 24 hours ! After 24 hours line won’t work, found out sim was badly cut. Went back and told him today today am moving my number to MTN.

Guys Glo is the worst out there.


Always sentimental shoor..... All because you and your likes support this evil party we have in Government.... Kindly name his father or father-inlaw company here in Nigeria...

If you're not in an area that has Glo 4G network, just forget Glo.
I know how much I suffered with their 3G SIM before getting a 4G SIM.

Even the 4g is nothing compared with 9mobile 3g not to talk of airtel and mtn 4g.very useless

Glo would dash you data but to use that data is a struggle.... The bigger the city, more likely the network would fail you. Once you enter a remote area, it would be shooting fast... Anyway, Glo is the most generous network but they are unreliable.

I hate glo. I hate glo. 90% of Nigerians complain about glo. They s c am us with big useless data. If they give you 12gb you no go use 1gb till month end. Useless Scammers.

To be honest, in the whole of Northern Nigeria, Glo is completely useless. Now going by the size of that region, if Glo are unable to provide high network reception �, then by all means, they are useless.

I beg to disagree with that statement. I have been using glo, voice and data. I cant complain about them. I don't stay in Lagos but PH.

Glo in calabar will show you 4G and you'll be downloading at 250kbs during the day and 1mb at night...

Glo is completely useless there. Even voice call needs 3-4 dials to connect. And the bandwidth angle doesn't exist.

As I am typing this I don't really believe wether it will be posted or not. The network in connection with NTA keep on disturbing people with advert glo this and glo that. What a poor network?

This sounds like a lie. Why would you need to get a new SIM because you want to cut to nano. Besides, you don't need to go to customer care to do that. Roadside agents can do that

on the news you will see them calling themselves the grand master of data!

but on a very good day, glo has a very bad network, some say that their network is good in their area, and some say that their network is bad in their area, but please tell me how do you define network when it does not cover everywhere

the reason why I am still using glo is because I have their number as my contact line, and its only N1 on its account balance, since last year, I just use it to receive calls and nothing more!!
