I have seen people going to top universities, even with funding getting denied and I have also seen people that went there with schools like VIU, Iglobal that have gotten their visas. The key is know how to defend your school. Don't go there saying their curriculum is good or whatever they have aligns with your career goals. That will get you a straight denial because there are thousands of better schools. Find something specific you like about the school or your program and sell the school.
NB: I would advise other students to apply to better schools that would give you a degree people will respect.
All the best.

I haven't..I would be taking it by August... Its important I get an idea of the schools I want to apply to ...for instance on the day of the GRE , how will I know who to send my scores to if I have not done any findings?..which is why I don't think waiting until I write the GRE to mail is a good idea o

Focus more on the GRE now. Focus more on getting a stellar score. You can make a decision on your school a few weeks to your exam. If you spend a ton of time researching on schools now, it might distract you from getting a stellar score. From my discussion with a lot of candidates, too much of time spent on school search limits their study time which affects their scores.

This is assuming that getting a stellar score is a priority for you.

Lol.,i think u don't understand me yet.. Getting a GRE score is my goal..I am targetting a perfect score...but if I haven't done the minimal research I'll just waste my 4 free score reports cos I won't know which school to send my perfect score to...I am not saying I want to spend hours researching schools...I just want to know basic questions to ask that's all
In general I just no want make d free score reporting waste ...lol...cos 80$ no be small money

Just have/search 2 or 3 schools each in these three ranks- Top ranked, Average ranked and Low ranked.
Write the school codes in a paper which you would be allowed to take into the exam hall.
Then the score outcome of your GRE will enable you trim the 9 schools you have listed into four schools that you will report your score to.

Please I need an information. Who has received his/her i20 to Nigeria via eshipglobal and how much was paid?

Also, for those who recently booked visa appointments, when is the earliest date appearing at the moment?

You don't need to find the school you are going on Nairaland! In fact, I think that should be a good reason to go for such school. Any school that carry "State" is a good school; at least, not a private school some students here would tag as red flag. Ranking doesn't matter here, too; your confidence and preparation for a successful visa interview is what matters. I have a student in Dickinson State. Not sure if he out of status or almost done. Good luck!

I made my sevis fee payment through walspring without any hassle and it reflected in less than 24 hours. For those who needs help with sevis fee payment, contact Walspring. You won’t regret it.

Yes, you can use your uncle's statement, but note that you must chose YES to "Do you have any relatives in the US."
In addition, I don't really recommend the idea of using a sponsor in the US, because most VO would see you as a potential immigrant. But with God all things are possible. So, try and see.

Wish you the best

Hello all, I want to confirm, if is true that if you don't use your US visa, you will be refused next time you apply for visa. I have a valid B1/B2 visa which will expire by March 2020 and I am planning to apply for F1 student visa - will I be refused F1 student visa for not using the other visiting visa first issued to me?
