He is on loan from arsenal, it there was any funny business from his side it would be reported.
You're holding brief for the young man now and you're already agitated. Wait till it does get reported in the Nigerian media that it is in fact due to negligence on his part, then. I'll respond to you accordingly.

My bad, I counted Liverpool for this season already.

Are you counting Deportivo la Coruna? grin

Why don't we shift it to last 25 years then? grin

Only 8 teams have won the la Liga compared with 24 teams that have won the EPL.

The difference is clear. grin

Nigeria Football Federation helping Kelechi Nwakali sort visa issue

By Oluwashina OkelejiFootball Writer, France

BBC Sport

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) says it is working hard to secure the visa that will enable stranded youth international Kelechi Nwakali to return to Portugal.

The 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder, who is on loan at FC Porto's B team, is unable to leave Nigeria almost a month after playing in a qualifier for the 2020 Olympic men's football tournament.

Officials confirmed that Nwakali was in Portugal on a single-entry visa and so now needs a renewal to return after he played on 25 March, however, the process is taking longer than they hoped.

"The federation has been working hard to get his visa sorted as quickly as possible, but it's taken longer than expected," NFF's director of communications Ademola Olajire told BBC Sport.

"We hope it will come out after the Easter break to enable Nwakali return to Portugal."

He has made 16 appearances this season for Porto's reserve side, who play in the second tier of Portuguese football, but has now missed the club's last four league matches.

A 2015 Fifa under-17 World Cup and Golden boot winner, Nwakali was snapped up by Arsenal in August 2016 as the Gunners beat a string of Europe's leading sides, including Manchester City, German, Dutch and Spanish clubs to his signing.

He spent time on loan at Dutch clubs VVV-Venlo and MVV Maastricht [two loan spells] between 2016 and 2018 but struggled to make a major impact, before moving to Porto in July 2018.

Back in August, he earned a call-up to the senior Nigeria squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Seychelles, but did not play.

Nwakali did play for a Nigeria XI in a friendly against Spanish club Atletico Madrid five months before.

Oya come and call him unserious for honoring his country's invitation.

They Warned me not to come to Nigeria – Nwakali

Adebanjo Ogunseye

Kelechi Nwakali has revealed he was advised by FC Porto officials not to honor the invitation for Nigeria’s CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Libya in March.

Nwakali did not heed the warnings and now without a “resident permit” in Portugal he is stranded and can’t return to the team.

As per Ayo Olu Ibidapo [AOIfootball], he (Nwakali) had no regrets honoring the country’s invitation but hopes he has not done so at a risk to his career following the current situation.

“I’m very worried about the current situation of things,” Nwakali told AOIFootball.com.

“I told the coaches before coming that my going back to Portugal might be difficult because I don’t have a resident permit in England and I was also not given one in Portugal so it had really complicated things for me.”

“I should have returned to my club and started playing already and also getting set for next season but my decision to honour the game against Libya has put me in this situation which is becoming very troublesome for me.

You actually abused his physical appearance.

Well it is a known fact that Guardiola wants to dominate and win as much games as possible. He strives and lives for it. That does not make the Champions League his primary objective. His objective is to get the team playing brilliantly in as much games as possible. The titles that come out of it is okay.

Knowing that it could take time to get a visa. The professional thing to do was not to come and explain the situation. It is not about patriotism here.

If you have a one way visa and need to reapply for a Visa, It is not wise to go to a place where you do not plan to spend at least a month.

His injury against France at the world cup stopped a Liverpool move. The same coach that is coaching Ndidi wanted him.

Mikel refused to remain disciplined and that was why Onobi benched him. Back then Mikel was to sit back but he flat out refused and he got benched whenever the coach had the guts to do so.
When Oliseh left, how come the discipline left and Onobi disappeared. When it comes to tactical discipline, Mikel is one of the best I know.
