Lol.... Am not surprised at all, you know they are the big bosses. And as for the faces thats how Nigerians are when it comes to examinations and interview. We go just lock up sha. Dou am quite different I do tend to interact with people whenever I go for an interview or exam. Best of wishes once again.
mrphysics:
Here in Abuja. We are already lagging behind in time by 34 minutes.
Don't even know when they will start.

The faces I am seeing here no dey give me joy. Everyone seems over serious. The issue tire me coupled with the fact that I took 30 minutes excuse from the office.

Maybe u will present it to them when they see they cant download it.
bolarinwa346:

Thanks for the info. But what of those of us with issues uploading our SOP and were advised to bring the hard copies during our interview?
Thanks.
Re: Apply 2019/2020 PTDF Scholarship In France, Germany And UK by PrestraphD(m): 12:56pm On Apr 29, 2019
Its better to ask these than those academic question. That prof wan finish me fa. Never satisfied with big grammatical construction
Almisbahu:
Have just finished mine. As the brother before said, the questions asked are more credential related. I gave them my SOP but they didn't even look at it. The questions I was asked are: where do you work?, why do you want to do an msc abroad? Which skul did u apply?, what contribution will you give to Nigeria after finishing the program? Do u want a full or partial scholarship ?
None of the questions are academic related. However, a friend who did before me was asked academic related questions.
Just do ur best and master as much as u can. Know how to defend whatever doc u used during ur application.
Best of luck guys.
Cheers

Don't bother yourselves about the SOP. Remember that before the interview invite we have done our application and uploaded our SOP This time around there was just a mixup in the information, we were not ment to do another uploading of documents we were just ment to click on our pin and update our choice of interview center. So basically PTDF are working with the very first application we did.

Okay. Please, any need for photocopies? Or do they need to see only the original copies?

I thought as much, my fears have been vindicated! thanks so much for this Information. Meaning that those whom were unable to upload more than two awards and pubs. might likely have issues, even though they have their pubs and awards with them at the interview venue.

PrestraphD:
Ok this year's patter is actually diff from last year.no one wanna see any of your credentials or awards aside what has been uploaded they dont even need ur SOP as they download it themselves. Questions vary but most from all you have uploaded so dont ask anyone what did they ask u. They ask you from the info you uploaded. Done Ibadan center and off to Lag. Goodluckto y'all

Yours was even serious. In Abuja, it as to the best of my observation not worth it. My reasons

1. I was the second in a batch of 5 applicants for a unit of the interview. The first guy went and I was the next. When I got there, the panelist were discussing among themselves and I could hear what they were saying. It became clear they didn't fully understood the scoring method. One was telling the other the scores for each question and requirements. It became obvious that the first candidate may have missed out as they hurriedly left his case to attend to me who may be the next victim. Lol.

2. Mr. A introduce yourself. I did. One shouted Impressive as he battled with his calculation for the previous candidate. I knew he was being sarcastic with his response because they was nothing impressive about the introduction. So it was another turn off. I doubted they were serious with the whole stuffs shaa.

3. I was asked for award and they requested I handed them over the entire file. I gave it to them. They went to the WAEC and graded it. I scored 22 lol. The guy directly before me asked the others if he is right with his calculation. Another turn off. In WAEC, they will select first 5 subjects. Whatever in it, you will be graded. I thought they show high understanding of the grading. Learning how to grade on my time is something that wasn't funny to me. Well, I just know it's an experience.

4. I was asked for my CGPA, not a first class wasn't cool to them though as displayed by the impression of one of the panelist. While at it, one asked why I applied. I gave him reasons, and figures while "Mr. Impressive" was busy shouting impressive. I was asked if I studied Geology because I waded into the exploration processes and how my course of study would be used especially in oil clean up in Niger Delta.

5. At the end of the entire stuff, I was asked to call the next person but Mr. Impressive couldn't just stop being sarcastic. He told me that I have a good case.

From my observation

1. It wasn't an interview but a physical verification of uploaded documents
2. Reference to point 1 above, those with first class and publications are the competitors others are just there to compliment them. I'm sure Mr. Impressive gave me all the 20 marks for SOP. Lol
3. For those preparing to apply next year, you need to start preparing
4. Just ensure you have an award. I have one and it's only 2 marks for awards. So I missed the 2 marks for the second award and the entire marks for publications. Mine is still being published though. lol

Weldone boss, for those that will make it, I wish you guys the best.

Before I entered, I told one person that sat close to me that those who have upper chances are those in University environments. Those one will be talking to lecturers. Those lecturers are easy to wash their brain if you are grounded with everything in SOP.

As a super lion, I miss not doing it in the Den though. lol.

All the best ma'am

Selecting first five subjects in WAEC as in the oder/way you entered it in the portal, or a set of predetermined five first subjects (i.e: maths English lang., chemistry, physics and Biology) for instance, in the case of a typical engineering candidate? Kindly respond, because i dnt understand what you mean by first five subjects.

Bro the way you entered in on the portal. Like I said before, I doubt they have full understanding of the grading. They selected first 5 subjects. I heard the man mention it, 4Bs and 1A.

that should be so so wrong of them. like in my own case, i combined two results, with most of the A's coming in the second paper, and i entered it last. Well just the way you put it, i doubt if they understood the approved grading scheme.
Cheers However!
