Was there a pre-signed treaty that, when the war finally passed over, Sansa would hand over the North to her, or would be divested of the right to fight for the North's sovereignty?

It wasn't even as if the war was against the North. It was against the living. The North just happened to be the initial war zone, so consequently, Dany fought for survival, not essentially for the North

So Danaerys just randomly happened to be in the north with 2 dragons, and battalions of Dothraki and the Unsullied?

Sansa, is that you? cheesy

Really? With the way you defend sansa, thought she would be the one.

I defend her cause she gets so much unnecessary hate because she's different.

The baratheons would have taken the iron Throne from jeoffrey if they hadn't allowed the devil to come in their middle. Sometimes we need to seallosour pride in order to achieve something in life.

Their house words are Ours is the Fury. . .tells you about their rage, headstrongness. Too bad the fury was meaningless.
Hopefully Gendry will escape it.

Do you mean season 8 Tyrion? I hope not.

Cos except he redeems himself within the remaining three episodes, I might just take Hodor instead.
seriously? Can't people see Tyrion stayed in the crypt because he was told to do so? I mean, he wanted to fight only to be put down by Danny and sansa. Don't bother mentioning when the wight entered the crypt. Dude was clearly too drunk do to anything except flirt with Sansa. grin

Sansa na very foolish girl o.. was going back to season 1 and 2 and I don't even know what to call her characters anymore.

Maybe she was a kid now but Arya was also a kid and not stupid like that.

There was a time Jeoffrey asked Ser meryn to torture and naked her for Robb's crime in the throne room.
Only for Tyrion to interfere and released her from her purnishment. Then she was asked if she wants to put an end to the whole purnishment. You know what the stupid Sansa said? I am loyal to king joffrey, my one true love. Can u imagine.

Please tell me you knew that she said that because she didn't know who to trust and as such couldn't say evil about the king. Please, just tell me you were joking.
Tell me you're not one of those people who watch the picture alone. Please tell me you listen to the conversations and try to understand it. PLEASE!

It's not just about the dragon, without Danny's army, the north would have fallen. And BTW do you know how many wits those dragons burnt? Without those dragons, the men fighting won't have a little chance of survival.
Your statement was as if she ended the war. The starks played more roles in ending the war 70% than Danny 5%. So I see no reason sansa should bow to Danny. Danny should bow for the starks for saving her greedy life from death.

I just remembered a scene in season one when a cuthroat wanted to kill bran stark on his sickbed.
It took the courage of Catelyn to stop him. I bet you if it were Sansa, the cutthroat would have his way that day.

I agree that Sansa is not trained to fight but she doesnt have that courage.

You can't compare Sansa with her mother. What Catelyn did for Bran is what any mother would do. If Bran was Sansa 's son, she would definitely try to rescue him.

To understand what really happened here, we all have to go back to the very First Law of Thermodynamics which states that --- Energy can never be created nor destroyed but can only be converted from one form to another.

Turns out even the Lord of light is subject to this Law. To create fire, oga Lord has to convert energy he already has into fire. It is from this same energy bank he has been converting & wasting all these years to ressurect Berric.

When Mellisandre came, the Lord of light still had some considerable energy left to convert into fire. This is why oga Lord decided to show-off by individually lighting up the swords of each Dothraki, when the sensible option would have been to light up the sword of only the first Dothraki and allow Domino effect to set-off a chain reaction that would lightup the rest swords the moment the Dothrakis bring their swords a little bit closer to each other.

This unnecessary show-off & waste of vital energy is why when moments later Mellisandre grabbed a thick log of wood in the trench whose surface area was partially coated in snow dust & started screaming " alexio oh no!! e no gree catch!!! " , the Lord of light knew kasala don burst!!

Snow is basically water. To lit up wood sprinkled with snow in a snowy condition, the lord of light knows he has to generate enough heat Energy to first evaporate water content from the wood & surrounding atmosphere. An energy he was now running low on, but foolishly wasted on things of the flesh like --- the Dothrakis, and russurecting Berric...... 19 ffucking times.

If you notice, all the arrows that struck the woods all quenched because they just weren't packing enough heat to light up a wet wood, in a snowy atmosphere for that matter. Snow is basically water.

The Night King understands the Law of Thermodynamics. Why do you think he covered Jon & Dany in a cloud of snow dust? It wasn't just to reduce visibility, it was also to cool down the intensity of dragon fire. That guy just keeps impressing me. First it was his understanding of the Archimedes spiral, now Thermodynamics. This is why he was immune to dragon fire because that genius knows a mere spittle of dragon fire cannot just melt 1000years of accumulated snow in an instant.. Damn!!!!

Back to dumb Lord of Light.. This Nigga was running so low on energy to convert into fire that's why even when his priestess kept screaming "alexio oh no!! e no gree catch!!!" it took him scrapping the bottom of the barrel to produce light. The Lord of light had to close his eyes, tighten his fist so hard he farted before he could produce light.

And someone also asked why the Lord of light didn't ressurect Berric. You have your answer. The Lord of light was completely finished. No more energy. When Berric begged for the 20th ressurection, the Lord of light simply shook his head and said , "Not today.".

The Lord of light's tragic end was a result of his wastefulness. Something that could have been avoided had he payed attention to his engineering classes. To be a successful god, you have to be intelligent too.

Even almighty Thanos had to bend his head down to read, that's why he was able to use Differential Calculus to explain the concept of change & a finite universe with a finite energy source to his daughter, Gamora, in #Avengers infinity war#..

The Lord of Light should be reincarnated as a small god in the surburbs of Osodi or Ajegunle so he can spend the rest of his life on ewa agoyin & schnapp while he reminisces on the good ol days.

I think those were Sansa's exact words in the presence of everyone. She keeps deceiving herself she has a say in the matter. Going back on her words will make her a Lady of no honor. The best she can do is whine and grumble, which I must admit, she's an expert at.
Jon is the warden. He has sealed the fate of the North. It is his verdict that matters, never mind how the showrunners are trying to downplay his importance.

To me, Dany is the biggest loser of the episode. She's lost her right hand man, her Dothraki screamers, a good number of Unsullied and her dragons are wounded. Her position is badly weakened. I wonder what kind of ecstasy Cersei will feel when she hears the news.

Sansa should make no mistake. If she finally has two brain cells to rub together as she wants us to believe, she should know that Cersei will surely come for the North if she defeats the Dragon Queen.

It's not even because of the crypt saga. Tyrion has been underwhelming for me this season. Maybe it's because he has spoilt me with his intelligence, tactics & aura for so long that it now annoys me to see him as just another inconsequential character.

There was a time when just one look from Tyrion had me wondering what was going on in that mind of his. Not anymore.

But come oh, why is it that it is only when it comes to matter of life & death people who are stubborn & claim to be smart with a mind of their own quickly obey instructions that will keep them alive? Why?

....I know everywhere was tense because of the battle and all that but I find it strange that no one has asked how Aegon was able to let a dragon mount him and even control him. I don't think it's a normal occurrence for Dragons to let anyone mount them but the people in the show have seen more than once and yet nothing has come out of it. I know two characters know why it is so but common, in a tense environment like that, a Stark riding a dragon should be good gossip. Perhaps it will be spoken of in episode 4 or it come out together with Jon's parentage. Not good enough.

.....I am also eager to see Cercei's reaction to the fact that there are two Targeyans alive and well. That will be something.

.... I don't know if it blood rush or plain stupidity as Aegon has always displayed in battle when he decides to act like a woman and go along with his heart instead of being tactical or it is just another of the many plot holes that are growing in number as the series slowly goes out or it is another of the producers's attempt to make sure my dear Aegon doesn't end up the hero this time (Yes, I was correct, it was confirmed that Aegon shouldn't always be the hero, can you imagine?) or something else. But Aegon mounting a dragon and going to battle against one like the night king and had no clue on what to tell Rhaegar to spit fire was silly.

.... Viseron was spitting fire and tearing Rhaegar's flesh but Rhaegar could barely do anything as his rider couldn't tell him what to do at that moment. If Aegon knew the words, it would have given him an edge in the first place to spit fire at Viseron instead barging into him and the night king. But Aegon didn't know and his ignorance would have been the end of him if it wasn't for his girlfriend. Honestly, that scene was so annoying that I ended up deleting the episode. The Jon I know isn't this stupid. I hope he gets his act up and stop thinking without sense during a battle because if he commits another blunder in the next one, it could be his end.

....Next episode might just be another filler episode where issues before the great war and after will be discussed and help will be asked from other places as Dany's army and that of the North won't be enough to battle Cercei's.

I beg to differ, it was actually the other way round. Rhaegar did the flesh tearing.

He put up a great fight against Viseron.

It was actually had deciphering which Dragon was doing the more damage with the storm raging and the pitchness of the dark. I saw a more graphically enhanced and clearer version of the fight that's been enhanced by the Lord of Light uploaded on reddit.

I've got a question to ask because it's kinda perplexing seeing chaps here say Daenerys fought for the North and not for the entire human existence/survival.
Someone even said the starks should thank her for not steering clear like Cercei did (Yah, thanks for having the brain to know without humans alive, there'll be no throne to fight for).

Now my question although already answered is: Would there still be a Cersie or any other fvcking human whatsoever if the Night-king had his way of killing or killed the three-eyed raven - Bran Stark??!

Maybe Cersei isn't part of the world you know. She was in Nigeria atmgrin!

I'm not discrediting her selflessness in the Battle of Winterfell. I'm only saying, in retrospect to the pre-battle periods, when we, the audience, cum the characters thought it was over for mankind, and everyone felt they had to fight for survival because of the supposed menace TNK posed. That by fighting for Winterfell, she was actually fighting for survival, too.

Now, I'm asking, if this selfless act of hers, together with the fact that Sansa contributed nothing to the victory, deprives Sansa of the right to fight for the North's sovereignty.

.....I watched it as clear as I could. The Night king was ready to end Aegon with his spear if it wasn't for Dany. He was completely out of his element there and didn't know what to do. It was extremely stupid of Aegon to against one that had control of the storm and better control of his dragon. He wasn't completely familiar in riding a dragon and I am now sure he knows better now that controling a dragon goes beyond directing its movement.

Now, I'm asking, if this selfless act of hers, together with the fact that Sansa contributed nothing to the victory, deprives Sansa of the right to fight for the North's sovereignty.

Did Daenerys have to fight for humanity at winterfell?

LMAO! Fans must always be fans. We get to chose and idolise characters in our belove movies at the expense of other characters even when they're not an antagonist.
Understandably so, I get the trolls, missiles thrown and hate towards Sansa right now.
In the early days of the show, this same Sansa was not excluded from the sharp edges of my verbal-slaughtering as a fan keenly following the show.

Albeit, I am a very forgiving person when you try to turn a new leaf even if you still have some traces of the antecedents you were castigated for.
Unfortunately! Some people (fans in this case) can be very unforgiving and the trepidation, consternation, stupidity that graced your past is reminisce and seen in your present and future actions no matter how you try to be perceived as reasonable.
This is where the talk "First impression matters a lot" was coined out from.

In our belove Sansa's case, the damage has been done already. So I wouldn't overly blame the fans still finding fault from her recent actions and not intelligent enough to forgive her in the late episodes of S07 and all episodes we've seen so far in S08.

With this preliminary statement and as a very objective fan as regards GOT, I am gonna comment on the last episode and do justice to pointing out who the most fvcking coward here is because this COWARD has fully been ignored and at a point showered with some accolades at the expense of a Sansa who has since turned a new leaf.

First and foremost! Sansa involuntarily went to the crypt after been imposed by Arya to do so.
We all know Sansa wasn't built like her sister 'to fight' but still insisted on staying up on the ground watching her people fight the NK.
Arya had to force her to go under the ground for her safety and as the 'Lady of Winterfell' and in so doing, gave her a weapon to protect herself if the need so arises.
My mehn, if you can be objective enough. How dare you tag Sansa as a coward when she didn't just run to the crypt like one very big coward that will be unveiled soon in the course of this discourse but was constrained to do so knowing fully well that she cannot even raise her hands to fight.

Hello fan-boy(girl), Sansa is not a coward. I only found fault in her where she downplayed the moral of the imp (dwarf) Tyrion. But the truth is, that part is very inconsequential as they were in the crypt already and just had to accept fate that there's absolutely nothing they can do in the field of battle.

Away from Sansa, we now move unto Tyrion.
Is Tyrion also a coward??! Hell fvck NO. Describing Tyrion as a coward in today's reality is you likening buhari in same category as a professor of medicine. Two things that can never occurgrin!

In the build-up of the fight against the NK, we all witnessed how Tyrion suggested to assist Ser Davos in his role in the battle but was blatantly told and constrained by Daenerys to go to the crypt and in her words; "a warrior can be replaced, but his intelligence is rare and golden and as such would be needed in the helm of affairs if they indeed come out victorious against the NK".

I bet you, if Tyrion wasn't disadvantaged as regards height, he would have been a competitor with his brother Jaime in the usage of swords.
Tyrion has got the brain and balls to challenge his fears.

Talking about balls. This brings us to the most underrated and protected coward in GOT, Lord varys, the coward that was promised to be exposed.

The round-faced, bald-headed, zombie-like dignified orangutan pussy has got no balls and as evidently so, highlighted his cowardice in his actions in the build-up to the battle, during the battle and let's see how he jumps on the glory after the battle.
This same ball-less old cargo offered no single word in the whole of episode 2. The useless-idiot just sat his fat shït-ass down listening to strategies mapped out by reasonable and complete human beings.

As a character worthy of our attention, unlike Sansa and Tyrion that at a point insisted to assist in the battle but was imposed to go to the crypt. This grossly-inflated dunderhead, Lordvaryx never proposed assisting in anyway. The fat fool was the first to go to the crypt, selected a very nice spot to sit his arse down hiding behind women and children.
Such a coward! Even the words he tried to force outta his disgruntled gullet in his conversation with Tyrion down the crypt bred all shades of cowardice. He told Tyrion they should 'atleast be grateful that they're in the crypt'undecided!
I heard he is a spy-lord and a passuer of information dissemination. What a role very befitting of a ball-less round-headed ghoul.
He should shove his spying prowess into his fat arsegrin!

Be gone Lordvarys! If you should die now, no single soul will notice your existence. But trust the show-runners from now on as they would try so hard to make keeping him alive up until now worth the while.

Wow! This is a lot. So much for game of thrones, elucidating enough and I am confident my message has been passedcheesy!
No kill me with laughter abeg

Please tell me you knew that she said that because she didn't know who to trust and as such couldn't say evil about the king. Please, just tell me you were joking.
Tell me you're not one of those people who watch the picture alone. Please tell me you listen to the conversations and try to understand it. PLEASE!
You just want to defend her. What about when she lied that she didn't see what happened when joeffrey lied that Arya and the butcher's boy attacked him.

She said she didn't see anything, everything happened fast, she didn't know, she didn't remember.

Sansa should make no mistake. If she finally has two brain cells to rub together as she wants us to believe, she should know that Cersei will surely come for the North if she defeats the Dragon Queen.
Last season, they made it look as if Sansa was going to harm her sister, but in the end, they stood up for each other against Littlefinger. The show-runners might be doing the same thing here: making us feel that Sansa will harm Dany only to have her save Dany at a crucial moment.

She said she didn't see anything, everything happened fast, she didn't know, she didn't remember.

I guess you also didn't hear what Ned told Arya when she pointed this out. He said she could say anything bad about Joeffery because she was bethrothed to him and was to become his queen. As such she must stand by him, like a dutiful queen. Ned knew this, that was why he wasn't angry with Sansa. She was put in a tight spot and she took the route a dutiful intending queen would take.

Now I'm convinced you just watch the pictures and the fights. For you the conversations can go to hell.
That's where this whole hatred for Sansa comes from. Because you guys have refused to watch a series and understand it the way it was meant to be. But because all you guys are interested in is who fight and who died, you abandon the plot, the dialogue, the progression of each character.

The reason I counter most of what is written here is because I know most of you here watch the show wrong. That's why you see some comments that shouldn't surface in the first place.

Learn to really watch a show. You are allowed to hate or like a character (I hated Joeffery so much that I screamed for joy when he died) but don't let it blind you to some plot developments. Don't let it hinder your understanding of the show.
