Most of you dont know that a scene or words spoken in GOT is for the future. Yes, Deanarys's army and the norths' might be depleted but remember, she still have the second sons and Dorne to call up for the battle against Cersie.

Your statement was as if she ended the war. The starks played more roles in ending the war 70% than Danny 5%. So I see no reason sansa should bow to Danny. Danny should bow for the starks for saving her greedy life from death.

Without Danny's army and dragons, the wits would have overrun winterfell and killed everyone including Arya.

.....I watched it as clear as I could. The Night king was ready to end Aegon with his spear if it wasn't for Dany. He was completely out of his element there and didn't know what to do. It was extremely stupid of Aegon to against one that had control of the storm and better control of his dragon. He wasn't completely familiar in riding a dragon and I am now sure he knows better now that controling a dragon goes beyond directing its movement.

Ehmm, Uncle. How did Dany save Jon? Cuz from what I remembered watching this was how it went:

Night King uses blue fire on part of the castle. Jon clashes Rheagal with Viserion. Two dragons inflict injuries on themselves. Night King raises white spear to use on Jon but can get clean shot because of dragons. Eventually Night King gets knocked off Viserion and crashes to ground. Jon hangs on the Rheagal but they also come crashing down. Dany then appears with Drogon where the Night king crashes and tries to Dracarys his ass. But Night King has Odeshi

Please tell me here where Dany prevents Night King from killing Jon?

Ksslib:

To understand what really happened here, we all have to go back to the very First Law of Thermodynamics which states that --- Energy can never be created nor destroyed but can only be converted from one form to another.

Turns out even the Lord of light is subject to this Law. To create fire, oga Lord has to convert energy he already has into fire. It is from this same energy bank he has been converting & wasting all these years to ressurect Berric.

When Mellisandre came, the Lord of light still had some considerable energy left to convert into fire. This is why oga Lord decided to show-off by individually lighting up the swords of each Dothraki, when the sensible option would have been to light up the sword of only the first Dothraki and allow Domino effect to set-off a chain reaction that would lightup the rest swords the moment the Dothrakis bring their swords a little bit closer to each other.

This unnecessary show-off & waste of vital energy is why when moments later Mellisandre grabbed a thick log of wood in the trench whose surface area was partially coated in snow dust & started screaming " alexio oh no!! e no gree catch!!! " , the Lord of light knew kasala don burst!!

Snow is basically water. To lit up wood sprinkled with snow in a snowy condition, the lord of light knows he has to generate enough heat Energy to first evaporate water content from the wood & surrounding atmosphere. An energy he was now running low on, but foolishly wasted on things of the flesh like --- the Dothrakis, and russurecting Berric...... 19 ffucking times.

If you notice, all the arrows that struck the woods all quenched because they just weren't packing enough heat to light up a wet wood, in a snowy atmosphere for that matter. Snow is basically water.

The Night King understands the Law of Thermodynamics. Why do you think he covered Jon & Dany in a cloud of snow dust? It wasn't just to reduce visibility, it was also to cool down the intensity of dragon fire. That guy just keeps impressing me. First it was his understanding of the Archimedes spiral, now Thermodynamics. This is why he was immune to dragon fire because that genius knows a mere spittle of dragon fire cannot just melt 1000years of accumulated snow in an instant.. Damn!!!!

Back to dumb Lord of Light.. This Nigga was running so low on energy to convert into fire that's why even when his priestess kept screaming "alexio oh no!! e no gree catch!!!" it took him scrapping the bottom of the barrel to produce light. The Lord of light had to close his eyes, tighten his fist so hard he farted before he could produce light.

And someone also asked why the Lord of light didn't ressurect Berric. You have your answer. The Lord of light was completely finished. No more energy. When Berric begged for the 20th ressurection, the Lord of light simply shook his head and said , "Not today.".

The Lord of light's tragic end was a result of his wastefulness. Something that could have been avoided had he payed attention to his engineering classes. To be a successful god, you have to be intelligent too.

Even almighty Thanos had to bend his head down to read, that's why he was able to use Differential Calculus to explain the concept of change & a finite universe with a finite energy source to his daughter, Gamora, in #Avengers infinity war#..

The Lord of Light should be reincarnated as a small god in the surburbs of Osodi or Ajegunle so he can spend the rest of his life on ewa agoyin & schnapp while he reminisces on the good ol days.

'alexio oh no, e no gree catch' I swear it sounds like what she was saying. hehehehe

Infact when I read the first line I checked the poster's name already laughing...then I saw it was the intelligent lunatic.

Guy, if you smoke some mary j, your post-inhalation reasoning no go be here. It'll be fun.

I guess you also didn't hear what Ned told Arya when she pointed this out. He said she could say anything bad about Joeffery because she was bethrothed to him and was to become his queen. As such she must stand by him, like a dutiful queen. Ned knew this, that was why he wasn't angry with Sansa. She was put in a tight spot and she took the route a dutiful intending queen would take.

Now I'm convinced you just watch the pictures and the fights. For you the conversations can go to hell.
That's where this whole hatred for Sansa comes from. Because you guys have refused to watch a series and understand it the way it was meant to be. But because all you guys are interested in is who fight and who died, you abandon the plot, the dialogue, the progression of each character.

The reason I counter most of what is written here is because I know most of you here watch the show wrong. That's why you see some comments that shouldn't surface in the first place.

Learn to really watch a show. You are allowed to hate or like a character (I hated Joeffery so much that I screamed for joy when he died) but don't let it blind you to some plot developments. Don't let it hinder your understanding of the show.

So Ned told her to lie in order to defend joffrey because she is betrothed to him?
Remember when Ned told Sansa and Arya that she is sending them back to winterfell for their own safety.
The stupid Sansa said she is not going. In her words. "I'm supposed to marry prince joffrey, I love him and I'm meant to be his queen and have his babies.
Even when her father told her that when she grows she is gonna marry somebody stronger, braver and gentle than joeffrey.
She said I don't want someone gentle and strong but want joffrey. A golden lion...

Well, you can abuse me if you want to but that won't stop me from making my point. My point is Sansa has been stupid from time memorial although the showrunners have developed her character to be someone who is "tactful" now.

Someone beheaded her father and you are telling me she doesn't know whom to trust anymore.

"Your Grace, Winterfell is yours"
I think those were Sansa's exact words in the presence of everyone. She keeps deceiving herself she has a say in the matter. Going back on her words will make her a Lady of no honor. The best she can do is whine and grumble, which I must admit, she's an expert at.
Jon is the warden. He has sealed the fate of the North. It is his verdict that matters, never mind how the showrunners are trying to downplay his importance.

To me, Dany is the biggest loser of the episode. She's lost her right hand man, her Dothraki screamers, a good number of Unsullied and her dragons are wounded. Her position is badly weakened. I wonder what kind of ecstasy Cersei will feel when she hears the news.

Sansa should make no mistake. If she finally has two brain cells to rub together as she wants us to believe, she should know that Cersei will surely come for the North if she defeats the Dragon Queen.
Don't tell me you interpreted that 'Winterfell is yours' as 'We humbly surrender the North to you, to rule for life'.

I didn't say u say that. I only asked the question because Sansa lied just to defend joffrey against her own sister, and the only thing u said was that Ned told him to say anything to defend joffrey because she is betrothed to him. That's stupidity.

I've got a question to ask because it's kinda perplexing seeing chaps here say Daenerys fought for the North and not for the entire human existence/survival.
Someone even said the starks should thank her for not steering clear like Cercei did (Yah, thanks for having the brain to know without humans alive, there'll be no throne to fight for).

Now my question although already answered is: Would there still be a Cersie or any other fvcking human whatsoever if the Night-king had his way of killing or killed the three-eyed raven - Bran Stark??!

Maybe Cersei isn't part of the world you know. She was in Nigeria atmgrin!

Someone should answer this question now, maybe it'll help stop the arguments in this regard.

Question: What would have happened if the NK killed the three-eyed raven??!

Bran and Samwell has already given us an insight as to what it means but it seems some chaps still don't get it. So I really want to know and get an answer from this threadsmiley!

There was no where I said this. What I said was Ned understood why Sansa lied and he explained it to Arya.

Danaerys could have very well stayed put on her island which was very defendable. She had 3 dragons, the unsullied and the Dothraki. She could have waited for the zombie horde to find a way to cross the sea and come to her.

She did not need to go to winterfell to 'survive'. She was also not in winterfell by accident. She went to winterfell to support Jon Snows war efforts.

Cersei is chilling now in Kings Landing having decided on that exact strategy.

Danaerys went north to fight for the north sir. Any other argument is facetious at best.

Jon has surrendered. He was the King in the North and bending the knee on behalf of the entire North. During Aegon's Conquest, it was only Torrhen Stark's knee that mattered. Sansa making that statement was to make it seem she had a say-so in the matter. Nobody really cares whether she grumbles about it or not.

The trailer for ep04 implies that the North will get behind Dany in her fight for the Iron Throne. Sansa can always find a private place to cry in Winterfell (there are lots of those).

Dany told Sansa that all she'd ever wanted was to sit on the Iron throne.

Cersei, Dany and others would still exist but then there's no more a three-eyed raven as Bran hasn't trained anyone. So history of man and himself the NK would be gone.

Importantly, he believed he was going to clear the entire Winterfell where all that have heard about how he can be killed are at this point in time.

His only challenge would be the meisters and books in Old town which is a minor problem for him.

With his large and growing army he'll just conquer everywhere and Cersei...beat them with numbers.
If it's about swimming, that man would build ships (they make uniforms, armour, boots and even have big metal chain).

That's what I feel.

Unpopular opinion : Last episode of GOT was disappointment in every way. (Except the scene when Dothraki charge and the fire goes off one by one)

Battle of Bastards was 10/10
This was barely 3/10

Visually with ultra dark scenes, and constant quick cuts giving the viewer 0 context of the action.

I don't think they need to kill important characters just because "that's game of thrones". But really, it feels like they're only killing minor characters intentionally, and it feels kind of cheap.

Bran does nothing the entire episode, like wtf. And the night king just dies instantly. (8 seasons of build up)
Moreover Bran and Night King were surrounded by dead and walker and nobody saw Arya approaching?

Disgrace.

For someone who is so obsessed with the Iron Throne, staying put on said island would be similar to postponing the inevitable.

Without her, and her army, and her dragons, Winterfell would have lost that war, aggrandising TNK's army. Losing Jon, the only other person who can ride a dragon, in the process. Many other potential allies would be lost, too.

TNK would have comfortably moved to wherever in the Seven kingdoms with his army, conquering them with ease. Further, enlarging his army.

Now, The Dany we know wouldn't just sit on an island. She has been obsessed with the Iron Throne since like forever. She'd have to leave her comfort zone to fight for The Throne. This would eternally result in her fighting for the survival she thought she'd bypassed.

To me,the NK raising the dead back to life to distract Jon snow while he focused on the task at hand was Top class OUTSMARTING! no other word can be used to qualify it.

I think you may be right, Jon wouldn't have been able to take out NK in a one on one combat. Did u see the move he used to kill theon?
