My advise is this... Don't average down on ETI if I will go up then let it cover back your loss.

Best is to invest any fresh fund into Fidelity bank plc.

Tomorrow I will increase my bid for the shares of CHAMS... below N1.00 I will keep adding at intervals. Their dividend payout ratio sweet me like honey!

My belief in this company comes from my company's interaction with the management of CHAMS after we submitted a proposal and we were invited for a meeting... They are not playing and they mean business.

grin Happy worker's day.

Good morning members,
Dz week will be dominated with transcorp gist.
It's no longer a news that Transnational corporation power consortium won the bid for Afam power.
AT competitive bid of NGN105. 3B
With balance sheet Q1 at

Total Assets 297.0
Total Liabilities 192.0
Debt to Assets 37.54%

The implication of dz, Transcorp might turn to financial for loans, local or foreign loans at a higher interest rate or they might placed a private equity placement like access bank did.
The commercial banks are not impressed with the power sector, A good % of the loans granted at the inception of power privitisation were declared toxic, non performing and impaired in some cases.
GT bank requested for an equity in some power firms, dz was declined.
The scenario 2,Transcorp might float a public offering... Would dz succeed? Judging from the successful

Public Offer of 8,000,000,000 ordinary shares of 50k each at N7.50 per share by Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc December 27, 2006 to January 31, 2007.
Nigerians who participated in the offering are still biting their fingers and somehow the investing public lost interest in public offering.
Should Transcorp seek a loan or bond? It means the company will work for banks for a long time, using profit to service loans.
The best strategy is for transcorp to convince the investing public to key into this gold offer.
My final take on transcorp.... A stock for JIJO, might not be ideal for long-term and dividend investors
NGN100, 000 invested in 2006 excluding dividends is now about NGN 14,666 at the closed of business on 30/04/19.

What is your view?

Heirs Holding took a loan of $600m from Afrexim late last year in pursuit of the oil exploration investment ? Has the $600m from Afrexim been invested? I doubt as we are yet to get any news on the oil exploration investemnt. This is already part of the existing loans and may be used to finance this power acquisition.

Good, this means if Transcorp will come to the market in soonest time, the price of this stock will be pumped to close to its offer price then retail investors like me can cash in and wait again for 18months after listing and correction before reentering again,

Special dividend of N1.15
http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/26058_UNION_DIAGNOSTIC_Q1_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_MAY_2019.pdf
Japaul continuing with losses (though the losses is reducing gradually)

FO is paying a special dividend of 115k, probably from the disposal of their asset. Maybe one of the reasons while FO's price is on rampage.

Union Diagnostic EPS is .93k (less than 1k)
