If you were not so smooth with your response & sounded unsure, they might doubt the information you gave them.

Be positive still.... nothing is certain or uncertain in this part of the world.

Morning my people. Will be heading to SA next week and I have two questions...

1. Have a 30 day Tourist Visa. I'll be touring different cities and so I'm booking just 5 days first in Pretoria with AirBnB and would book for other cities later. Question: Hope 5 days accommodation receipt is OK to present @ POE?

2. Where's the best place to exchange Naira to Rand? Lagos Airport or Joburg Airport or PTA via bank here in Naija.

Many thanks in advance for your responses

Brother,I'm so scared now.The embassy called me about 30 minutes ago, asking me series of questions.I could not answer all, because someone actually helped me with the application.they asked me the exact address of my place of work and the name of the person who wrote my introduction letter. Now i'm so scared, after waiting for 5 weeks. Please is there any chance that i'll be issued the tourist visa?
I thought you are supposed to write and sign your introduction letter yourself o

1. You need to be able to present proof of accommodation during your intended stay if you are asked at the point of entry. So I advise that you make an unpaid reservation for other cities you intend to visit just in case you are asked.

2. If you have a Mastercard you don't need to travel with cash as your card will work in most malls and POS in SA. However, keep about 2000rands in cash just in case.

@Viquetohr speak to your supervisor to give a written consent so you can present when submitting your application to embassy. Most student accommodation do not accept 'book and pay later'. You can try Airbnb

I applied for relative since Jan 30th 2019 till now no news... Does it take that long or what do you think?

My agent kept telling me to be patient and I'm tired of hearing that
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by depoty22: 12:35pm On May 10, 2019
it shouldn't take that long. If he submit without pushing it may take long.

The application that are faster are CSV and study.

You need to keep pushing him, it will be out.

I really doubt if study is that quick though. Cos next week would be my 11 weeks. And that don't seem to be fast enough bro. Eyes are red as it stands

@Sircreeden Relative visa from Lagos takes 8-10 months (by default) to process reason been that DHA need to verify the marriage documents you submitted and some other stuffs. You can scroll through some pages on this thread to read a guy who got married to an SA gal.
