This man funny sha. What radioactive waste? US will not use Nukes against Iran, i don't see that happening. And you forget that fighting a war isn't about winning, the reason why Iran isn't attacked yet, is because it will be a costly war for the US, and the moment more US soldiers keep arriving home in a body bag, the more that war becomes unpopular back home. It's all about the cost of fighting Iran, does the US have the appetite for such, that's the question. They can defeat Iran, obviously, but it will cost them. And comparing the old war btw Iraq and Iran is off the mark, the Iran that fought Iraq back then is different from the Iran of today |

Just like how I was reading guys arguing on here that Nigerians won't sign up to fight and defend Nigeria if invaded by an external force. Guys it depends on many factors and scenarios.Does Nigeria have any fighting chance? Can the other country PROJECT AND SUSTAIN POWER over a long distance until objective is gained? If it's the US, the answer is no and even the Nigerian govt will jejely acquiesce. |
Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by blacKDalia: 10:00pm On May 12, 2019 |
If its Egypt we do have a fighting chance and its at this point you need to look at different facets why Nigerians will/will not sign up to fight. How is the general population viewing the war , are they a liberating force or an invading force; how is each region of the country viewing the war i.e the north as muslims might not fight while the south will see this as a war of SURVIVAL. 1 Like |

And when the shit hits the fan most people won't think about "wetin Nigeria don do for me sef", it will now be I need to protect my people (wife, parents, children). Why did Muqtada al Sadr's Mahdi army fight the US after the liberation of Iraq from Saddam? 1 Like |

Fynline: Well, we cannot blame soldiers for poor training, education is Garbage In-Garbage Out like computers behave according to quality of software program you upload into it. If Nigerian army privates, corporals, other NCOs have bad training and doctrine, it's fault of captains, colonels, generals who give all our troops bad training. TRADOC is headed by major general upwards, they are responsible for all NA doctrine and training. We blame those poor low privates to warrant 1 unfairly for poor performance, if we give Enyimba coaching to players, we have no right to demand that they play and win games like Chelsea or Barcelona, the Nigerian players signed for Chelsea are playing excellently like white European stars. Give all Nigerian private to warrant soldiers same quality training as USA Marines and Boko Haram will relocate to Burkina Faso. We cheat these young boys, soldiers young as 20 years of age in frontline with 1960s outdated training and tactics forced into their heads by infantry corps schools officers. Also, we blame privates, sergeants for bad tactics, but it's the fault of lieutenant, captains, majors that lead and command our infantry platoons, infantry companies into battle with poor field tactics and wrong doctrine. If all students fail exam, we must blame class teacher for his failure to impart correct knowledge. Nigerian army officers are responsible for Nigerian training privates/NCOs, the failure is from the teachers who produce failing students. Read the comments of ordinary Nigerians about NA training, as said by other people not forum guys here, a dozen comments posted on this YouTube video of NA training, then you wonder how civilians think like these but our army does not learn from it, the whole NA is stuck on everything 1960 era, for weapons, training, attitude, doctrine, all is 1960s period we cannot free our army from, they need deliverance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySR_kenZknk 2 Likes

rka2: Actually all three of us are correct because Nigeria has all those problems not only one. Our case has no known cure yet. Nigerian Army has equipment-weapons problem, training-doctrine problem, tactics-strategy problem, financial-accountability problem, sanitation-dirty barracks problem (enter dem toilet see armoured shit). The politician-doctor with our cure is still in primary school. |

Toju200: Bros dont swear o, as I am not sure, so you are not sure. DHQ will not announce all defeats-loss of NA FOB and armoury looted, I got the news from published Francophonie media reports. Their own analysis is that its true, but lets wait to see if DHQ will feed us news. |
Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by SupremeCourt: 4:14am On May 13, 2019 |
Fynline: Chief, one cannot stop calling for correct type of weapons for our army. Our police rents ak-47 to armed robbers, but we still buy new weapons for police or else robbers will rob Central Bank HQ in day light. How does FGN, DHQ, our leaders sleep? Nigeria is not safe! What if Algeria just decides to use us for demo one day, who will rescue NA ? See heavy weapons that country accumulates, bmp ifv, tanks, missiles, fauchs afv, terminators, now adding German ifv boxer with composite armour, all only 4 hours road drive, Algeria is in Nigeria !!!!

SupremeCourt: The Army should take a cue from NAF. Deal with the primary problem first. The current COAS is busy pursuing projects that will not bring about significant value addition to the Army like creating an all women SOF etc when there are bigger problems to deal with. Sometimes I wonder if he just wants to be seen to have achieved something new during his tenure for the sake of it or he really wants s to win this war. We are just managing this problem we have no plans to win this war. 1 Like |

Fynline:Setting up and all female SOF to me is just playing to the gallery because with respect to our security situation on ground that should be least of our worries, if at all we want to give women significant roles to play it should strictly based on merit and not all this gender equality bullsh1t( the standard shud be the same with men, mental toughness, intelligence and physical fitness shouldn't be compromised). If you see how heavy some of this so called combatatant women are you can't help but laugh at our iberiberism. That's how we will keep jonzing till BHTs capture one of the women(God forbid), then those people clapping for women to have combat roles will be those carrying placard and protesting against the army. 1 Like |

SupremeCourt: Long established problems. If the NAF & NN to an extent , can re-strategise, why not the NA? It isn't just restricted to the military, but many facets of Nigerian life. Unless Abuja is threatened directly again, the political class will not budge. Most of them are too militarily illiterate to understand the vast amount of money needed to train and equip the security forces. I am beginning to think the USA was right back in the nineties when they wanted the NA reduced in size and better trained. We would have had a more efficient, mobile and better equipped force rather than the cumbersome, ill equipped and underfunded neanderthal force. 3 Likes |

Seriously if this guy in power had some lil consideration for cameroonians he would have stopped this crises long ago but he allowed the situation to rotten and get into the hands off marijuana smokers and thieves.thereis info going around that criminal gangs from nigeria especially from the delta states operate now in southwest and northwest. |

fabselad: Your country has a Defence Pact with France and of recent just added an American military base in Garoua, Cameroon. The greater the presence of foreign military bases the greater the deteriorating political/social climate. These powers need a congent excuse to justify their presence in their respective hosts.....the result has been an ecosystem of self perpetuating strife and violence. First Mali, then Chad, the Cameroon and the latest GHANA. Oddly enough the beef up of their military footprint in the region coincides with the rejuvenation of ISIS West Africa and sectarian communal strife. We will never know peace until we rid the region of foreign military presence. And trust me, now that they have invested billions of dollars on these facilities they will not leave without a fight. 5 Likes |
